- karen (10/5): Stunning location and perfect place to stay. - The perfect location for early visits to the Vatican which is the best time to go there. It's Rome so if you want big bedroom you are not going to find them here. It's a wonderful apartment building with so many thoughtful additions..like an iron, kitchen area with tea, coffee etc. Fridge if you want to stock up on breakfast stuff. But go to Fabrica around the corner for a truly fabulous breakfast. It was a fantastic find and we will go back and recommend it to all our friends and family. The lovely landlady was a joy and so helpful and checking in with us every day to see if we needed anything. Could not be better. Nothing

- Sabina (10/5): Perfect place to stay on a budget in an authentic Roman neighborhood - Tinkerbell is the perfect place to stay if you are on a budget in Rome. The apartment is well-located: outside of the city center but close to the Vatican and to public transport, in a lively but quiet neighborhood full of restaurants, away from the tourist traps. Tinkerbell provides you with a very clean and comfortable room (very comfy bed and pillows!), a desk, bathroom and access to the communal kitchen. Everything is clean and tastefully decorated, and Manuela was very kind and responsive, providing many tips for restaurants in the area. The only minor negative detail was that the wifi did not work very well. Everything else was great. Also, make sure you bring slippers (the floor can be cold) and earplugs, as Via Trionfale can be a bit noisy (as is to be expected in Rome).

Bardzo blisko do Watykanu. Pokój w zupełności wystarczający, dobrze wyposażona kuchnia, w mieszkaniu spokój i cisza :) Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielką. -

Ambiente molto silenzioso, ide - I really loved the atmosphere: well-kept, spotless, and very welcoming. The room was spacious, quiet, and tastefully furnished, with an extremely comfortable bed that guarantees a great night’s sleep. The location is very convenient for getting around on foot or by public transport, while still being away from the chaos of the city center. A major added value is the very close proximity to restaurants, pharmacies, supermarkets, and hairdressers, as well as the kindness of the owner, who is always available yet never intrusive. I felt a warm, family-like atmosphere — it truly feels like home. Highly recommended, I will definitely come back. Mi è piaciuto moltissimo l’ambiente: curato, pulitissimo e accogliente. La stanza era spaziosa, silenziosa e arredata con gusto, con un letto comodissimo che garantisce un vero riposo. La posizione è comodissima per muoversi a piedi o con i mezzi, ma senza il caos del centro. Un valore aggiunto fondamentale è stara la presenza vicinissima di trattorie, farmacie, supermercati, parrucchieri e della cortesia della proprietaria sempre disponibile ma mai invadente. Roma. Manuela se plie en quatre pour ses clients. Elle propose des bonnes adresses, demande régulièrement si on a besoin de quelque chose. La pression de l’eau dans la douche est plutôt exceptionnelle pour l’Italie. Chambre propre et bien meublé.

- Vanessa (8/5): Limpieza dudosa. - Tiene excelente ubicación, la ciudad del vaticano esta a 15 minutos caminando. Estación del metro Ottaviano a 8 minutos caminando que te lleva a lo más atractivo del centro de Roma. La habitación era perfecta para una o dos personas máximo. Al menos a mi me gustó que tuviera ventana con vista a la calle. 20 a 25 minutos caminando al hermoso río tiber, que es una brújula, al menos en mi caso para ubicarte. La estación Termini perfectamente ubicada para llegar a pie al alojamiento, claro, mientras no traigas mucho equipaje. Aúnque se me pregunto, ya estando un par de dias en el alojamiento, que si quería que se hiciera limpieza en mi habitación, una sola vez no tendría costo, si quería dos o mas si tendrá costo, lo cuál no recuerdo que estuviera especificado. Eso me pareció desafortunado ya analizándolo. Y el contacto fue directamente por WhatsApp ninguna interacción personal, sin descartar que el anfitrión siempre fue amable y atento.

The district is absolutely gorgeous, with a lot of useful infrastructure around: restaurants, pharmacies, supermarkets. Next time It will be great to see the slippers in the apartments. It was clean and the owner was friendly and responded quickly (although we didn’t see her at all during our stay) Bathroom was tiny. Curtains are a bit light so in the morning you wake up early
- Annette (10/5): Fantastic! Excellent value and location regardless of the length of your stay - Location was great! Super close to the Vatican (about 10 minutes if you know the right way to go, lol) and subway station which we used a fair amount. The beds were INSANELY comfortable (which you want after walking all day, every day 10-30km, yes, that was us!). All within a 1-5 minute walking distance were several restaurants, bakery like shops, gelato shops, and even a Gluten free store in the building just around the corner. A grocery store, the famous Bonci Pizza (10 minute walk), 15 minute walk to Tiber River, about 45-60 minutes walk to Colosseum, Forum and almost any other major site you'll want to see in Rome is within 30-45 minutes away! The host Manuella was super helpful, kind and accommodating helping us to arrange airport shuttle to and from and was always accessible to message and quick to respond. The room was nice, clean with what looked like a relatively new reno washroom. We stayed for 8 nights. The best way I would describe these accommodations is like a large apartment or condo with four bedrooms and a large kitchen/shared eating space. Off of that shared space, each bedroom has its own door that locks with washroom within each suite. (For those wondering, yes the toilet has a seat, the washroom has a door, they do supply toilet paper and the air condition worked great). There are two units like this, one on the 3rd floor and one on the 4th. There is also a little elevator but we toughed out the stairs every time. You have access to a fridge and one shelf will be yours, plus a kitchen with dishes, kettle and more. I literally never saw a single person in our B&B! My husband only once saw someone else in the kitchen, so it was likely having our own place. We rarely even heard anyone else as the rest of the guests were very quiet and respectful of each other. I would highly recommend Tinkerbell to anyone planning a trip to Rome regardless of the length of your stay!

- Ivan (1/5): Avoid - The location is what made us choose it. The mattress was comfy, but it was moving on the metal "bed". It was quiet, but we were alone in the so called bed and breakfast. An old place, looking and feeling like a hostell. No hot water. One had to wait for 30 minutes and the water was still warm. When we reserved, I am sure I chose breakfast option. No breakfast was provided although it is a b and b. Then they changed it in Booking, I guess because no people. Only coffee we did not touch. No cleaning available, they ask and then don't show up....No place to put your things. Small tiny bathroom. Smelly building. Wonder what kind of people like the place.

- Alice (10/5): A lovely room in Rome - A beautiful room in a beautiful flat. Manuela did a great job organizing and decorating the place. We particularly enjoyed the air conditioning, the shower, and the possibility to store and cook our food in the kitchen of the flat. Manuela also gave us great suggestions for sightseeing, shopping and restaurants in Rome. We will definitely come back on our next trip to Rome. Nothing to complain about, really. Just a note for other travellers: We came by car and got a few suggestions for parking around the flat. We decided to go with the more typical version for northern Europeans (closed parking with a ticket at the Mercato parking) but the braver ones can try the more classical italian version where you leave your keys with the car to the garage owner. Both are available within 200-300m from the flat.
- Iris (2/5): Wished for so much more... - Okay location They asked us to pay for the room although it was already paid for. I had to show the confirmation from Booking.com. Then the woman thought we were there on the wrong day and I had to prove that it was not the case. In the very small room of ours there was a necklace and foil from a toothpaste thrown in the bin. When flushing the toilet some water hit the shower.. Few pieces of hair in the shower and a red mark on the curtain. The kitchen was shared and you served yourself, making the coffee (in the dirty mocca-maker) etc. For the price, we wished for more. If you want a romantic stay, I recommend you to consider other options.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Hotellin arvostelu - Majoituspaikka oli mukava, siisti. Sänky oli hyvä ja tyynyt olivat erinomaisia. Aamupalalla piti itselle keittää kahvit ja teetä, sen mukana oli leipä ja pullat, jogurtti, mehu, siis normaali aamupalaa Italiassa.

- Kristin (8/5): - The B&B was fine. It was our first experience and we may not have known what to expect. While there was food available for breakfast - none was of the hot variety (i.e. no eggs or bacon or such), and the same daily. The sheets were a bit rough for our taste, but the rest of the linens (towels) were quite nice. This is NOT a place for romance, (thin walls/doors) so if you just need a place to stay, it's good for that. It was strange being in a very residential area, but we got used to that for our first time. Manuela was helpful at getting us set up and had a map where she provided good information!

Manuela helped us with airport transfer, good advice on tourist attractions and local transport, and was very helpful whenever we needed something. We actually enjoyed this more than a hotel. The rooms were very clean and fresh. We enjoyed the fresh croissant in the morning. The were bus stops just around the corner that took you directly to Piazza Venezia or Trastevere, even though it was perfectly possible to walk to the attractions.

Die Zimmer sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und wir fühlten uns direkt wohl! Die Lage ist hervorragend, 8 min zur Bahn und 5 min zum Bus, viele Restaurants und Kioske direkt in der Umgebung. In 10 min zu Fuß waren wir am Petersdom und im Vatikan. Alles war perfekt!
- Chen (8/5): Lovely place.... - We had a lovely stay at tinkerbell. We were greeted by the owner Manuela at the apartment, who was just full of suggestions and information. There is no comcierge, but she is easily available via high speed Internet which is provided at the apartment. Breakfast selections are replenished daily and it's self-service with a full kitchen. It is definately a comfy and homie place. Would definately stay here again.
