- Charbonneau (7/5): Disappointed - I am disappointed in your clarity in representing this property. The picture is of the Red Lion. Which is an EXTENDED stay not 'hotel' and was Filthy. I cancelled the two night reservation upon arrival and would like ALL my monies returned with NO cancellation fee since you misrepresented. We stayed at the Red Lion Hotel Yakima Center. 607 East Yakima Ave, Yakima, WA, 98901 and really liked it. Cost me double. So very very disappointed in you company. Extend stay. Poor lighting, location with homeless, dirty, and building ran down not like shown either.
Honestly was thinking it was the other Red Lion on Yakima.

- Kelly (7/5): - Location Noise
- Marken (1/5): Short - The front desk person was nice. This was a great value for the price if you are okay with a terrible night sleep from the sound of the ice machine, elevator and/or AC unit, not to mention the smell of BO. This is undoubtedly a pit stop for drug traffickers, truck drivers, and women (or people) of the night. We stayed for one night, were there less than 12 hours, and I could not wait to leave. Make sure to keep your socks on. I would highly recommend AGAINST bringing your kids here, unless you want to show them what life will look like if they drop out of school. I would add pictures, but I didn't want anything to remember this place. You're probably better off sleeping in your car.
- Laura (1/5): The worst hotel I have ever been to - Room not functional was promised a refund and had to leave , never got refunded. Extremely disappointed
- Gonzalez (1/5): HORRIBLE, DIRTY, AND THEY NEVER REFUNDED MY MONEY. - Nothing. It was dirty af. Never staying at this hotel ever. And when I chose to not stay there, they wouldn't even refund me my money. Everything about it. They never even refunded my money.

- Jorge (1/5): -
- Natali (1/5): Pésimo - Nada me gustó No me gustó el olor que había en el pasillo y la habitación. El servicio de limpieza no limpia las habitaciones,
- Don (1/5): - Nothing Cockroaches
- Quannah (6/5): -
- Roman (1/5): Fraud - Nothing! The photos on Booking do not match reality. At the entrance there is a broken window covered with cardboard and dirty curtains with suspicious stains. The room was unsanitary: mold, dirt, strong unpleasant smell, and dirty bed linen. The manager acknowledged the problem, but I was still charged for the first night.
- Petrisha (1/5): -
- Ty (1/5): False advertising on both booking.com and/or Red Lion - When making this booking the website booking.com said that payment would be made IN PERSON, and it was fully refundable, however when things were postponed for my work arrangements Red Lion said they would not refund the stay, if my arrangements were to pay in person, they should not be charging my card, and there were no stipulations of any sort, which means it should be refunded, but more than that it should never have been charged to begin with as I was never there IN PERSON

- Luckey (10/5): Amazing stay - The polietness and quietness the comfortable beds and cozy rooms I liked everything about my stay
- Luckey (10/5): Amazing - Everything the receptionist was really polite and kind amazing place to stay I loved everything about my stay
- Kenneth (1/5): The uncleanliness is just ridiculous. - There are bugs and food in the bed when we showed up.
- Luckey (10/5): - That it was very quite and the receptionist was extremely polite very comfortable and I would suggest to anyone that they stay there I liked everything about this stay
- Luckey (10/5): - It was very quite clean and comfy female receptionist was extremely polite and easy going I liked everything
- Lizola (10/5): -
- Dan (1/5): -
- Kevin (6/5): - Clean Noise
- Penry (10/5): - It was nice! the building was quiet and the room was comfortable, The lady at the front desk has checked my husband and I in the 3 different times that my husband and I have stayed here and she's always sweet and respectful. The price is beyond fair in my opinion. I will always come back here. Not much actually.
- Luckey (10/5): Amazing - The front desk staff was extremely polite, understanding and thoughtful she deserves to be recognized by the management and deserves a promotion or a raise her kindness and helpfulness was beyond exceptional.i would suggest this place of comfortably and reliability to any and all locals and out towners. I liked everything about this stay my phone was stolen and someone gave this place a bad review witch was not cool cuz what was said is not true this place is amazing very cheap for those who suffer from lack of funds and works with you so u can enjoy your stay. I would say again that this place is amazing and I would suggest this place to anyone I know looking for a quite and comfortable stay
- Darlene (1/5): Scams - It was dirty very dirty we had to move rooms twice I never got the rate that I was supposed to get they charged me full price and I'm dissatisfied with booking.com and the Red Lion inn I didn't like how dirty it was we had to move rooms two times I didn't like how I never got my discount price I didn't like anything about anything of booking.com or Red Lion inn
- Rocha (10/5): -
- Mallary (4/5): It was horrible. The facility should be shut down full of black mold. - I had a roof over my head The black mold all over my room. The staff didn’t know where anything was. I didn’t have a refrigerator or a microwave. The TV did not work. The whole room was covered in black mold. The second name of us into was covered as well. If I didn’t already pay for the room, I would’ve found somewhere else to stay. I had no other money to go anywhere else.
- Luckey (1/5): Never stay there - That is was very quite Staff were extremely rude,I booked a non smoking king and was given a queen room non smoking,I went and asked for two extra pillows cuz it was booked for two guest and only provided 2 small pillows and gave me one extra one with no pillow case and it was extremely dirty lots of drugs and prostitution horrible place
- Luckey (1/5): -
- Luckey (1/5): Poor don't stay there - I like it was quite the staff were very rude and I would never stay there again Staff were rude and they tried to charge me a fee that was not mentioned in the booking
- Olegario (3/5): - You get what you pay for. I will spend a little extra for a better hotel in the future. The carpet in the room looked really dirty. It had cigarette burns all over
- Maria (1/5): I would like a refund and I want someone to call me - This place was not up to for someone to stay everything was broken Didn’t even had a way to flush toilet
- LARSON (1/5): -
- ALINE (6/5): - While my room was fine, my friend that also stayed there at the same time found 2 dead cockroaches in the bathroom. It was a sketchy area. The facility is not that great.
I booked a room with microwave and fridge, and they put me in a room without. When I mentioned it to the staff, she said: "there is a microwave here in the lobby and I'll find a fridge for you....". Did she really expected me to walk all the way there to heat up whatever i needed? that throw me off.... I had to insist to be put in another room with the amenities that I intentionally booked with.
Also, the hallway fire alarm near my room had low battery so the annoying chipping/beep noise was going on all day/night.
- Ximena (2/5): - Room is very dir
- MARCI (4/5): - Found a cockroach in my room on the second day , a lot of tweekers hanging around giving me and my friend dirty looks did not feel all that safe perfume went missing out of my room . Will never stay there again
- Ulises (2/5): - Pictures of hotel were not up to date, giving us the impression that we’d be staying somewhere nice. We found roaches in the bathroom and in the main room. Aside from the bugs, the surrounding area did not like a safe environment. Needless to say we did not get much sleep during our stay.
- Sandy (2/5): - Very dirty and very old! I was afraid to walk around the carpet on my bare feet. I will never stay there again!!!
- Brett (2/5): - Awful
- Elzbieta (4/5): - The place was well below expectations. I had one bigger towel and one wash cloth which was very dirty. The bed linen was stained and dirty. No mat in the bathroom and with the floor all wet it made it very dangerous for me to get out.
We were promised breakfast upon arrival but in the morning there wasn’t any. Really grotty place
- CarrieRose (2/5): - Not a clean safe area to be at all. Would not recommend.
- Marcos (2/5): - Don’t like it
- Lizola (1/5): -
- Lizola (1/5): -
- Lizola (1/5): -
- Juan (4/5): - First window is broken and danger i was in room 249,
The services are ok,
- Lizola (1/5): -
- Kelsey (2/5): - Very unclean and noisy. No amenities.
- Steven (6/5): - Rooms where
- JOSE (2/5): - Images are very deceiving carpets are extremely dirty, mold in bathroom very dirty doors sheets have stains smells weird, not well cleaned ocerall
- Ralph (6/5): - No thanks
- Angela (2/5): Cockroaches & smells - Horrific conditions! Smelled so bad! Cigarette & weed smells throughout. Second morning we woke up to COCKROACHES in the bathroom and sink area. Checked out a day early and forfeited our money because it was so bad! Should be ashamed of taking peoples money to stay there. A reputable hotel site should not have this property included in their listings. It was awful!
- Verified traveler (2/5): Avoid This Place At All Cost - Don’t Do It - I would not recommend staying here. The room was dirty upon arrival, the air conditioning was broken, and I saw roaches during my stay. There appeared to be minimal staff available, which made it difficult to get help or address any of these issues in a timely manner - there was no sense of urgency. The amenities weren’t consistent from one room to the next (microwave, refrigerator). There were sketchy individuals with backpacks coming and going non stop. Overall, a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience.
- Peterson (7/5): -
- Yasuo (10/5): - Very kind staff
- Marjorie (1/5): We stayed for 5 minutes and checked out. - Nothing The room smelled like cigarette smoke and the tack strip was exposed with nails pointing up. There were also mosquitoes in the room.
- Ron (10/5): - Much nicer than other places I have tried in Yakima. Very responsive to my needs, quiet, clean, and friendly.
- Preston (2/5): - Room was dirty, there was some nasty science experiment left in the fridge and the milk I was traveling with for my some was unable to keep due to not staff to clean or switch my room after I checked in. No shower curtain, and the bathroom was not clean.
- Tasheena (4/5): - The no late check in time was nice. Probably wont stay there again.
- Cynthia (2/5): - No compassion no help no nothing
- Alyce (4/5): - Microwave unplug and impossible to plug because of cabinet. No fridge. No way to make coffee or tea. No phone service to main desk. No screen on window. Hallway carpet needed vacuuming.
- Betty (2/5): - The room looked clean, but it WASN'T! I took my shoes off & my bare feet stuck to the floor. My room didn't have an internet connection. I kept telling the girl behind the desk that I didn't have an internet connection to be able to use the wifi; she was snotty & kept telling me that she had given me the password for wifi; it didn't matter what the password was because I didn't have an internet connection in my room! The worst part was my room was infested with roaches & nothing was done about it! I have pictures of the roaches running all over my room.
- Marciel (4/5): - The building was old and needed updating in a few areas. Lots.of homeless and dirty parking lot.
- Jesus (10/5): - Good
- Jay (2/5): - Bad experience all around. Told them about leaving because of roaches, ants and urine stains on the bed and they didn’t really seem to care. Didn’t offer another room to stay in and are now ghosting Expedia so they don’t have to give a refund. Currently disputing it with my credit card.
- Michael (2/5): Never staying here again - When I got to the room there were no towels, the sheets had a stain, the chair was stained, the floor was dirty, the shower had a someone’s hair on the wall. Also there is a note at the check in counter that says no guest after 6pm or you will receive a fine.
- Kathrine (2/5): Dirty slummy motel - It was disgusting in the slums nothing worked. It was filthy. There wasn’t even a shower curtain and they stole $50 in my deposit that they said they never got.
- Gary (5/5): -
- Wilber (2/5): - The room was so dirty, the location were terrible it's in the middle of homeless, I feel so worried for a lot of gang members.
- john (2/5): - Between the locks not working the cockroaches I have switching out rooms like three times then they try to charge me for cigarette smoke which we did not smoke in that room. So they charge me 20 bucks for that sucks
- Cathy (6/5): - Very rundown. Friendly staff
- Marcy (2/5): - There were transient and prostitutes outside the front of the motel. The lights were off the chairs were up on tables and there was no one at the front desk. We were not able to check in and had to get another hotel. They charged us anyway for the rooms that we had reserved. Would never go there again.
- Karl (6/5): Pleasant - Pretty old and run down for the price. It did seem to be pretty clean. Just not what I expect from a Red Lion.
- Juan (6/5): Overnight - Just needed a clean bed to sleep in.
- Tandi (4/5): Stay at your own risk - Location was rough. Half of the staff didn't seem to know what they were doing. Had to move rooms because the top lock was screwed into the door frame and ripped off. The tub was worn. Saw a roach on the bathroom counter. Fridge wasn't plugged in. First room was missing a battery in the remote. 2nd room had no remote. Gave up watching anything at that point. There was a fight and resulting arrest in the hall while we were trying to leave... I could go on...
- Anita (2/5): Left Immediately - The room was utterly disgusting. I did not stay. Turned in my key 10 minutes after arriving and will never book at a Red Lion again.
- Anthony (2/5): - Totally disappointed/ disappointed
- Kathy (2/5): - This property should be condemned. It is disgusting from the minute you pull into the parking lot. Broken glass all over the ground, walking into the building broken doors and run down exterior.
- James (2/5): - We were thoroughly turned off by the hotel. As we parked, we noticed across the street a group of homeless people sitting in a parking lot doing drugs. The exterior of the hotel seemed run down and things did not get better at check-in. Horrible smell. We went to our room and instantly noticed the mold in the bathroom, chipped enamel sink. There was a smoking smell in the room even though it was a non-smoking room. We tried to call around to find another hotel to stay at with no luck, So we left and headed home which was about 2 1/2 hours away. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone!! If I could get my money back, that would be appreciated.
- Sarah (2/5): - Deceitful advertising - there are 2 Red Lion Motels, One is used as a temporary homeless shelter, the other is located in downtown Yakima. Pictures of Red Lion (the one that's temporary homeless shelter or transitional housing) are of the other, nicer Red Lion Hotel.
- Jose (4/5): - The television didn’t work, nor the Wi-Fi in my room that was at the opposite end of the hotel from the office. The chair in the room looked like it was pulled out of a dumpster. The room reeked of old cigarettes, there was food left in the fridge, and the towels were stained. I listened to people arguing much of the night as well as hallway traffic.
- Jodie (2/5): Very poor - Room had no working ac, had to change rooms, no microwave, no pool and when I switched rooms I had to carry room fridge from one to the next so I could have a working one by myself and tv did not work. Motel was one of the worst I have ever stayed in. Tried to contact booking.com and couldn't. Whole hotel smelled like dog pee Everything
- Nicole (2/5): - I could not tell if they were just putting lipstick on a pig or not. When you walked into the room the overwhelming sent of pinesol was all you could smell. The sheets were stained, lampshades had burn holes. One of the maids was fighting verbally with a gentleman that appeared to be her significant other. Needless to stay I stayed awake all night worried about my kids that were all in the same bed with me. Walls were paper thin and you could hear people yelling all night. Would not go back…ever. Came home and immediately showered and washed EVERYTHING in HOT water for fear of bedbugs!!!
- Dwayne (2/5): - No greeting upon arrival or warmness from staff, refrigerator in room or microwave, no phone to call front desk , no coffee maker. 1 medium sized towel ( that's all 🤔), no washclothes..., a wire sticking out of the wall by the receptacle near the heating and AC unit, homeless bothering you for change and the Wi-Fi password, being harassed by " tenants" of the Hotel and cussed at..constant noise and banging from unit up above us and next to us..
Complaints fell on deaf ears... And just stared at me...
Room 105 here stinks... Literally....
- Arianna (4/5): - When I booked this room, it showed there were microwaves and fridges in the rooms, my room had neither. There was no shower curtain in bathroom so when I showered the floor ended up covered in water. One of the beds had no pillows when I arrived. I had to go to the desk to request them and then again had to later go to get more toilet paper as I ran out and there wasn't any extras in the room. Next to the AC unit there was a huge hole with exposed wires in the wall and I was traveling with my toddler so that was concerning.
In the middle of the night my toddler got sick and ruined our sheets. I went to request new ones and explained I needed all new bedding blanket included. Housekeeping showed up at my door with a new sheet then said they didn't bring everything and left again. Half an hour later i had to.go back to the desk bevause i still needed the bedding and when it was finally delivered to me, i did not receive a new blanket. By this point we just made do because it was late and everyone was tired.
