• Delana (10/5): Quiet and comfortable stay in a great location with wonderful hosts! - Pattama and Lawrence are terrific hosts! We arrived with bronchitis and they informed us about a good doctor close by and made sure we were able to rest and recuperate. The bed was very comfortable and the room spacious. The water pressure in the shower was very good and breakfast every morning got our days off to a great start. We highly recommend Ao Nang Lodge for the calm location and proximity to plenty of restaurants!

• William (10/5): My wife and I loved this spot and would definitely stay here again. - The location is incredible. Within walking distance of the town but still far enough to not be bothered by the loud night life. Gorgeous view with the nearby mountain too. The owner is very sweet and helpful. I can't think of anything to criticize. We stayed at 3 different places during our trip and this was the favorite. Just take care going up and down the stairs to the bedroom.

• Stephen (9/5): Great Aonang option - Excellent establishment set back away from the main st commotion, nestled into the jungle but only a couple of minutes walk to facilities, shops etc. Super hosts - looked after basic breakfast , plenty of tips and good conversation. Intimate feel with no more than 8-10 guests. Nice pool, stunning cliff and jungle views.

The location is great as its surrounded by nature and away from the noise - but walking distance. The owners are so lovely (and make delicious banana pancakes!). I wish I could have stayed longer but it was fully booked. I loved everything about this properly.

Ze hebben ons leuke tips gegevens voor mooie stranden en sunset restaurants ( The Last Fisherman) In de slaapkamer was airco maar in de beneden kamer niet, waardoor het warm kan zijn. Houdt hier rekening mee, maar voor ons was dit geen probleem.

• Nancy (8/5): - De slaapkamer heeft goede airco, een heerlijk bed en een prachtig uitzicht! Je mag badlakens gebruiken voor het strand en het zwembad. De eigenaren zijn vriendelijk en bereid je overal bij te helpen. Elke dag schoonmaak en waterflesjes. De kamertemperatuur beneden loopt snel en flink op.. Er zit een flinke trap in naar de bovenverdieping. Je moet wel een beetje goed ter been zijn.

The location is perfect – slightly off the beaten path, yet still within walking distance of the town center. It’s peaceful, away from the crowds, with a lush, almost jungle-like atmosphere that makes you feel instantly relaxed. The owners are absolutely wonderful people – incredibly open, kind, and genuinely helpful. They always gave spot-on recommendations, whether it was for trips, massages, transport, or the best places to eat. At one point, they even helped us with frozen aloe vera after we got a bit sunburnt – such a thoughtful and caring gesture. The property is a loft-style villa with a pool and everything you need to fully unwind (including beach towels). It’s quiet, serene, and the views are absolutely breathtaking.

Pat and Lawrence are very helpful and always on hand for drinks and snacks and can speak very good English. They have a moped you can also hire. Breakfast was excellent and the room was spotless. We will definitely stay again. Gareth & Julie Leigh. Would also recommend the early bird Trip around the islands and Maya bay and beat the larger crowds.

• Mohamed Said (10/5): - We had a very pleasant stay at Aonang Lodge. It has the feeling of a villa and is set in beautiful surroundings. The room was spotlessly clean, with dramatic views of the mountains. It was very quiet and peaceful, with a comfortable bed and plenty of space. Best of all were the owners—friendly, helpful, and attentive at all times.

L’endroit est très calme, le logement est spacieux et la literie est excellente :) Les propriétaires sont adorables et le petit déjeuner est très bon. Il faut marcher 20-30 minutes pour arriver à la plage, mais le chemin ne paraît pas si long car il y a plein de boutiques et de vie. Sinon, il y a aussi possibilité de louer un scooter sur place.

Location is a bit tucked inside, so need to walk quite a bit to where everything is. The owners are super friendly and welcoming! Quiet area, we slept well :) - NO AC in the living area, it gets really hot during the day. There are 2 fans but not enough to cool the room. Keycard needed to turn the bedroom’s AC - bathroom has NO exhaust fan nor window, gets very steamy and hot after shower, no airflow - bathroom is sooo tiny, barely any space to move

We really enjoyed the view from the pool, well-equipped, spacious room and tasty breakfast (especially banana pancakes). The hosts - Pattama and Laurence - made our stay truly unique. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were well taken care of.

Fantastic views - especially from the bedroom window. Great pool. Some sunbeds and all rooms have a table and chairs outside. Pool towels and beach towels provided - and even a beach bag available for use in each of the rooms. The hosts are extremely friendly and attentive: nothing is too much trouble. Restaurants and bars within very easy walking distance, on roads with street lights. Everything was wonderful.

• Belinda Collins (10/5): A beautiful stay on the edge of the jungle, but close enough to be amongst the action in minutes. - The hospitality and kindness offered in addition to the accommodation was especially welcome, particularly as a solo traveller. The stylish environment and spacious apartment make for a beautiful stay. Everything has been considered, and the design is thoughtful. Especially loved the views from bed in the morning. Patt also kindly introduced me to a local bar, and took the time to teach me how to make Penang Curry and Tom Kha Gai which was a real treat and something I will always remember.
• Cass (10/5): The best place to stay in Aonang, Krabi. - We loved our stay at Aonang Lodge; the kind and helpful nature of the husband and wife owners truly made the highlight of our trip. We enjoyed chatting with them both daily, and gestures such as offering us a room with a slightly better view once it was available and sharing fresh doughnuts bought at the markets are indicative how much they care. Having scooter rental and laundry service in house was so convenient and very competitively priced, and we always returned to a spotlessly clean room. The layout of the accommodation is truly unique and well thought out, and the location was perfect; far enough away from the chaos of Aonang proper to be quiet and calm, but close enough to walk when we felt like leaving the scooter behind. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, however now know just how hard it is to secure a booking due to so many returning guests! Thank you, P and L. As others have mentioned, it can get a little warm inside; easily remedied by sitting in front of the fan downstairs, jumping in the pool, or turning on the aircon in the bedroom. Was not an issue for us at all :)

Tylko 7 pokojów sprzyja odpoczynkowi, bardzo cicha okolica i ciche pokoje, naprawdę można wypocząć. Bardzo czysto, przyjemny basen. Swietnie przemyślany plan pomieszczeń, zamykana sypialnia z widokiem! Bardzo pomocny personel, który rozwiąże każdy Twój problem, wystarczy zapytać.

It would have been great to get that information before as nothing was stated here on booking.com nor in the communication I had through private message. For me, breakfast at the hotel is very important so it really affected my stay. There were places to have breakfast "nearby" but it was a 20 minute walk or a grab ride. - Lots of stairs inside the room, going up and down to the bedroom but also to go from the living room to the bathroom. It wasnt an issue but it became annoying after a few days. - Very warm in the lower floor.

The room we stayed in could use a small touch up, there were some blood spots (presumably mosquito kills) on the walls and the wall paper was coming off in some places.
• Anna (10/5): A Quiet Oasis - We were touched by Pattama and Laurence’s attentiveness throughout our stay, who went above and beyond - organising trips, doing our laundry and even giving us fresh aloe vera to treat our sunburn! We also loved the location, which was close to the main drag but away from its hustle and bustle in a secluded and quiet area. With only 7 apartments in the complex, we had often had the pool to ourselves. Our room was perfect with everything we needed.

They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. They also booked us some amazing private boat tours, which I totally recommend doing. We are definitely coming back to stay with them again next year!! PS: Pat makes the most amazing pancakes for breakfast. Make sure you try them!

• Angelica (10/5): Great value for money in a super comfortable loft - Everything, starting by the hosts, who are a lovely couple running the place. Any questions about tours, transportation, the room, or anything related to the area, they were always able to assist us and even book for us. Then the loft, I would dare say, was very comfy with AC upstairs and a strong fan downstairs. The bedroom was really big and comfy and I had a nice sleep every night. The bathroom was all good, with a wall between the shower and the toilet, which I now appreciate a lot in southeast Asia. And even though the walls are all exposed concrete, they're really smooth and have nice cooling finish in the hot area. Location wise is great, as we are far away enough from the party, there is a lovely view from the mountains every single morning and it is less than 5 minutes away walking from the main road. The pool is also nice and relaxing to swim in the evening with a great star show. To be honest, it is one of the best places where I get the whole value in money per night. That time went by so fast, and we stayed 8 nights there!

However, the rooms get quite warm during the day and AC is only in the upstairs bedroom - depending on how much time you want to spend in the room, this may get uncomfortable. The owners are super friendly and make sure you have a great time. They offer breakfast options, laundry service and help you with anything you need. The pool is also a big plus, as well as the super comfy beds. The location is very quiet on a small side street, but only 10min walk away from the main street.

Very basic facilities , air condition is only on the upper floor which make the stay on thr lower level (where the living room and the bathroom) impossible, espically during the day. Although it is around 10 minutes to the main road, part of the road is very dark (though we didnt felt any insecurity).

• Abericro (10/5): Exceptional - Stuff and the owners were super nice, very friendly. I felt more like I'm a part of the family there than like a regular guest. Location is also good, few minutes walking to the main street where is located many restaurants, bar, the whole life of Ao Nang. Actually main street is pretty noisy, so this hotel is perfectly located on a quiet area (which means you will be able to sleep like a baby) and also on the walking distance to the main street. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to Ao Nang beach, where you can take a boat taxi to Railay beach and other islands nearby. Rooms were very big with very comfortable beds. If I come again to Krabi I'd definitely stay again in this hotel. Nothing to complain about it. :)
• Małgorzata (5/5): Passable - Its close to the city (around 10 minute walk). Also the hotel is located in the quiet area, despite being located close to the center. The bed was very comfortable, more on the firm side, however i prefer it that way, so to each their own. You can do laundry and book trips on the site as well. There is a small pool in the common area, which is nice, and the view of the mountain is great. I dont want to be accused of defamation, so I wont write specifics. However, if I were you, I would keep your money in the safe, not in the bag between the clothes :)

I got sunburned one day and they gave me something to help with that. The place is nice and quiet and each room has a bedroom upstairs and a bathroom downstairs. The pool is really nice and also the rooms have a cool mountain view (at which you can do rock climbing). Everything was clean. It's as the other reviews have said that there is AC in the bedroom but not in the bottom portion. I was always out taking tours or exploring on my own so it didn't bother me.You will also have to walk up and down stairs to get from the bedroom to the bathroom so keep that in mind. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to others. As the other reviews have said, the place is tucked away down a couple of back roads so you will have to walk 10-20 minutes to the main street. I don't mind walking so it was okay for me. The good thing is there were several good restaurants before the first intersection so you won't have to always walk far. This also turns into a bit of a positive because the place is very quiet at night and I got some of the best sleep on my trip here. One time I ended up taking a taxi from the beach back to here and it only cost 100 baht. So there are other options if you don't want to walk.

• Kiana (10/5): Peaceful and amazing stay - We loved our stay here! The house has such an interesting design and the bedroom was so comfortable and cosy. We loved all the windows in the house especially the one at the top of the stairs where you could see the mountains. The location is great, perfect backdrop of mountains behind the pool and only a short walk to the main road of Ao Nang. Very quiet around the property making it great to sleep at night. The owners are lovely and run the place themselves. Pat makes a great breakfast especially the banana pancakes and thai tea! Both owners are always happy to have a chat which we did at every breakfast and they offered some great tips about places we were going. Overall, a really lovely and peaceful stay.
• Elisavet (9/5): Would stay again but rent a bike for lower price and to go around easier as place is far from the beach and is too warm - Nice view.Nice spacious rooms. Nice to have the swimming pool during the warm days. Can rent a bike, have breakfast and do laundry there (a bit overpriced but convenient). The lower room is like a sauna since it lacks A/C so don’t expect to use it beside as a storage room. Few times we did not have left water or toilet paper in our room. Room service every day for towels but no cleaning of the floor.
