• Chris (8/5): Very decent, but the restaurant reception can be difficult - Excellent location. Easy to/from airport and close to many public transportation options. And not too close to the extremely chaotic sections. Spacious bathroom and overall room, and generally good design of the room (including a clothesline in the shower). Very good sound isolation from the busy street right outside. Check in and out were smooth. Can get noisy inside. You will hear everyone coming in and out of their rooms, especially if you are near the entrance to the floor. A/C does not get very cold. I think they limited the temperature to 22C minimum? A few nights I was too warm and so didn't sleep very well. Biggest issue is that there is no reception. This is mentioned in the description, but you may not realize just how busy the restaurant people get. If it's peak hours you may have a hard time getting their help. Nobody was rude to me, but I had to ask for help multiple times from different people, and they were clearly struggling to find time for me. I also found it rather expensive for a two-star hotel, but that's probably on me for not booking earlier.

• Mary (10/5): Great place to stay near the center - Walking distance to all you might want to see. - Value for staying in the center of Barcelona, reception and check in were so friendly and helpful! Rooms was spotless and bed very comfortable. Size was appropriate - Balcony was tiny, basically I assume to allow smokers to have a place to go. They obviously tried hard to decorate cheerfully and provide a pleasant experience. We enjoyed our short stay very much! Lack of plugs in convenient places for charging phones, watches, toothbrush's, etc.

• Alon (10/5): - Our stay at The 592 Hotel in Barcelona was absolutely perfect. The location is unbeatable — right in the center of the city, yet surprisingly quiet and peaceful at night, which made it ideal for resting after long days exploring Barcelona. The apartment itself was beautiful, spacious, spotless, and very well designed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were excellent, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and every detail felt thoughtfully planned. What truly made the experience exceptional was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, helpful, professional, and genuinely welcoming from the first moment until checkout. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at home. I travel quite a lot, and I can honestly say this is one of the best places I have ever stayed in. Without a doubt, this is the best place to stay in Barcelona, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the city. We will definitely come back.

The reception is not always open and we would have to talk to staff in the busy University bar on the street. They were nice and helpful but very busy which resulted in waits for check in etc.

• Neofi (8/5): Good hotel, good location and clean - The hotel was clean and the location was really good. The room got really hot due to the window facing the square, even though we came during April. There was air conditioning so that wasn’t a problem after all. What I didn’t like about the property was the communication with the reception. When I went no one was answering the bell and I had to go to the bar downstairs. For check-in I managed to do it fast after all, however when my boyfriend needed to check in 3 hours later, again no one was there. We also went the next morning for him to check-in and there was no one in the reception again. When I went to check out I wanted to leave my stuff in the reception since the morning and no one was there and when I asked the bar downstairs I couldn’t communicate with them because the guy spoke limited english. I had to leave the hotel and come back and check out at when the reception “opens”. This is just a small thing that was frustrating for us during the trip. Other than that the hotel was really nice and I recommend it!

Foi bem fácil chegar a partir da estação de trem de Sants, fomos recebidos pela funcionária Marisa, que é uma graça de pessoa! Nós ajudou com várias informações da cidade e nos reservou um taxi para a madrugada da volta. As instalações do hotel são extremamente limpas, ótima cama e chuveiro, quarto bem novo. Enfim, adoramos muito. Para nós não foi problema, porém para alguma pessoas pode ser, o fato do quarto ser um pouco pequeno, ficando apertado com malas grandes, porém como disse, para nós não foi problema por ficar o dia todo fora.

Tea/coffee making facility was a real bonus There’s nothing really to criticise. Pillows maybe a bit hard , but that’s just a personal preference. We would stay here again, but maybe not in the height of summer as the room was warm.

The moisture in the room and the quite cramped room. The shower in our room also was leaking and lacked water pressure.

The location was in great walkable distance to most places which was nice. Staff was super kind and helpful whenever we had questions or needs. The access to water was great too. There is nothing I did not like about the room. The only thing I could say is that sometimes the air flow in the room was not the best. It felt stuffy and warm at times, but nothing to worry about or ruin the room.

• ALEKSANDAR (10/5): A GREAT VACATION - COMPARATIVELY SMALL, BUT COZY, IN A WELL-MAINTENANCED BUILDING. BEAUTIFUL LOCATION, IN THE CENTER CLOSE TO ALMOST EVERYTHING INTERESTING, BAR UNDER THE HOTEL WHERE YOU CAN DRINK AND EAT WORKING UNTIL LATE, BUT WITH ABSOLUTELY NO NOISE IN THE ROOM, WHICH IS INSULATED WITH DOUBLE WINDOWS. COFFEE, TEA, WATER AND A FRIDGE AVAILABLE IN THE COMMON AREAS OF THE HOTEL. DESPITE THE 3 NIGHTS WERE THE ROOM CLEANED AND THE TOWELS WERE CHANGED EVERY DAY.

This is a very simple and minimalist hotel. No fancy design. But so so comfy and very well situated. There is no ordinary reception. You can get your keys in the bar underneath. Le quartier est agréable et animé, et la place de Catalogne ainsi que les Ramblas sont accessibles à pied en quelques minutes. Chambre propre. J’ai apprécié la machine à café en libre service, le réfrigérateur et le micro-ondes à disposition dans le vestibule. Petit déjeuner varié et copieux servi jusqu’à 13h au café situé au rez-de-chaussée. Presque aucun contact avec le personnel. Absence de chaise dans la chambre. Le jour du départ, à 11h pile, le badge ne permettait déjà plus d’accéder à la chambre alors qu’aucun employé n’était présent sur place.

Un malfunzionamento dell’aria condizionata ha richiesto di cambiare camera. La prima camera sostituiva era decisamente peggiore della camera originaria, molto più piccola, con affaccio su piccolo cortile interno, con bagno molto piccolo e aria condizionata rumorosa, letti scomodi. Per la seconda notte é stata sostituita con una camera decisamente più spaziosa e simile a quella prenotata, con letto più comodo, anche se sempre con affaccio su piccolo cortile interno. Molto spesso non si trova nessuno e bisogna rivolgersi ai ragazzi del bar. Troppe chiavi: non si possono sostituire con un codice?

• martin (10/5): - Despite being above a noisy bar the double windows gave exceptional sound proofing. The bed and pillow were very comfortable. Normally I struggle to sleep the first night but here I slept soundly. The room.was clean and the shower worked very well. There was a safe with a key which I prefer because often keypads don't work and you have to spend time figuring out how to use them. I liked how each room had a different colour scheme. Incredibly quiet at night. The staff in the bar seemed polite and organised. A cleaner came daily. The room may get too hot with windows closed in summer. I stayed in January. I knew to check in at the bar as instructions were given me plus I read other reviews so that wasn't stressful at all.
