Also, there is a really nice walking path along the waterfront about a block from the hotel and a number of restaurants. The valet was very quick. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The water pressure in the shower was great! The building is a bit older and it shows in little aspects, but it is well maintained.

- Linda (7/5): - The room was huge! The night was very quiet except for someone upstairs who may have had a bladder problem (but we heard only the footsteps, not the toilet). The breakfast was good except the scrambled eggs were rather dry. The double window shades helped in keeping out the light. The place is hemmed in by big building, so you don't really know where you are. I wish someone had pointed out the nearby river walk and maybe local businesses.

The welcoming staff went above and beyond. I don't leave reviews often and I don't bluster. This was a really nice stay, I was impressed all around. Location was nice. The breakfast was nice. Plenty of free coffee. Room was quiet and clean and affordable. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. (side note - Hotel is easily walkable to the 4th street food carts) parking was a bit overpriced but there was an overnight parking across the street for 24 bucks instead of the $50+ hotel valet.

The overwhelming odor of marijuana that permeated our room and hallway outside our room. The cost for valet parking was a bit much for only using it less than 12 hours.

The bathroom floor had hair from previous guests, the room did not appear to be vacuumed well, and the bathroom needed more detailed cleaning. The sofa and mattress were both very uncomfortable, and there were not enough blankets or extra pillows. At one point, I even questioned whether the bed sheets had been changed. Overall, the room did not feel as clean or as comfortable as expected.” If you want, I can also make it sound stronger or more elegant depending on how harsh you want the review to be.

They are prompt, courteous, attentive, and knowledgeable. From the valet to front desk to housekeeping to breakfast bar I airways felt welcome and taken care of. Can't thing of anything I didn't like.

It's just 2 stops away. Marina is a short walk from the hotel. Hotel. Parking is extremely expensive though. Breakfast can get a bit repetitive. Would suggest to get a room on the higher floor. We were on the 2nd floor so the street noise was disturbing at night . Staff is great.

The lobby was very dirty, including a giant sticky mess in front of the elevators that never cleaned up while we were there. The breakfast was a madhouse. My family and I felt like we were fighting over scraps. There was not enough staff at breakfast. There were no towels in the pool area. Zero towels. The rooms were nice enough in the staff that we did see was OK, but overall the experience was not great at all.

He reminded me of someone on the street unable to care for his own hygiene. I could smell the human across the dining room area. - X6459NPkm (10/5): Alone but not alone during a trying time. - This Hyatt served me with everything I needed. I was a patient at OHSU and had to stay 2nights a week for 8 weeks. It is right on the street car line with easyaccess. Everyone was so warm and welcoming from Eric and the valet staff, Christina, Jenna, Evelyn, Jeremy and others at the front desk, the wonderful breakfast and crew to Oxana and her housekeeping staff. I am thankful for them all during the time of my treatment. I did use the great pool but wasn’t up to the exercise gym but it looked well supplied with equipment. I will be returning once a month for 6 months and looking forward to returning to my home away from home.

Don't be shocked-No extra provisions in room these days, they used to offer Q-tips, lotions, shower caps, eye make up removers, as sewing kit but those are no longer provided. Not even a bottle of water in our room. (A Best Western Plus room still offers the little things + hot made to order breakfast inlcuded. ) Breakfast at Hyatt was 100% forgettable so this trip I didn't bother with it. Location is good, easy walk to the very few places to eat nearby. Outdoor Firepit on 2nd floor patio was good . Shop around, this property doesn't cut the cake. The noise was very high level due to a lot of families with kids for a tournament, had to complain 2x .

- notputtingm (2/5): Hotel disturbed my sleep, unusable WiFi. - WiFi was so slow I was unable to do any work on my laptop at the hotel room. Also, after getting back from work at 4:30am in the morning, someone woke me up at 9:30am… I heard a knock on the door and then they started coming inside. As I got up, they must have heard me because they quickly left. Checkout isn’t until 11:00am. Seriously? Also, the front desk said I could request a late checkout if I signed up for an account. I couldn’t find it anywhere after signing up and really could have used the extra sleep.

- 429jaynad (2/5): Make them clean!! - There was a fridge full of food left behind. The bedside tables and computer table and bathroom glass were filthy. They hadn't been wiped. I took a video and was told that the housekeeping Manager and an associate would go clean it whole I was gone. I came back to the hotel with the fridge being emptied out and the fingerprint on the glass being wiped off but they never wiped down the other tables and stands they were just as it was when I left and there was a long hair in my bathroom sink that wasn't there prior to me leaving. They need to wear hair nets or something. I'm just baffled that there was a manager that I was told that went up with the employee but the room still didn't get thoroughly cleaned. I always bring Lysol and Clorox wipes but why do I have to spend all this money and still come clean my own room. Then when I first got there and called down to tell them, they did not make it a priority to come clean the room. I waited 30 minutes before going downstairs and seeing why it was taking so long as I needed to leave to attend a meeting. The front desk thought that the housekeeper and manager had already been up but they hadn't prior to me leaving. Lack of communication between them as well. I was excited for the view but not enough to stay due to the cleansiness. I set in the lobby for almost an hour debating if I wanted to stay and ultimately decided to leave because I didn't trust that the bed was clean. Horrible experience 😮💨 this happened on January 26th I took screenshots this morning that's why it says the 28th the screenshots are from the video that I was playing from my other phone. Like the last guest left a whole lunch box and food. It was so stink. I show a picture of my items as I had literally just arrived!

- HEATHER (8/5): - The hotel was nice, staff were super friendly Parking was either a fortune or face the chance of not finding street parking & then paying an hourly fee. Plus there’s 2 different parking companies on the same block, so I paid at the meter in front of the hotel - turns out that the street behind the hotel is not in that particular parking authority’s district, so the other company came along & gave me a $55 ticket for parking there! That was frustrating, and the only negative thing I would have to say about our trip.

- anneke28466 (2/5): Room was dirty, housekeeping didn't happen and amenities were unavailable - The front desk staff were really nice and so were the valets the room was not clean and they never cleaned the whole time we were there even after we asked them to clean they didn't make the bed and threw away food items that we were still using. The pool was full of unruly screaming children like 15 to 20 of them no joke the entire time we were there so we never got to enjoy any of the amenities. It wasn't a great experience but it wasn't the worst either on the day we checked out my friend who had been sleeping on the couch pulled the top sheet and blanket off and there were brown smears all over the bottom sheet that look like poop stains . We didn't see them until a few minutes before leaving the hotel :-(.

- Brooke (5/5): It’s was great except treat they took money from me “accidentally “ that I’m still waiting to be returned 5 days later - It was awesome the room was spectacular everything was great Until I left and saw I was double charged for the room and am still waiting for the 150$ they took out of my account accidentally to be returned it’s ridiculous I’ve talked to the bank and the hotel and am still waiting 5 days later
- Michael (8/5): - Great room. Loved the added features for staying there. Versus standard hotel room. Lack of safe drop off for person with walker. Cars left for valet parking inn front of entrance with no spots for anyone to be dropped off at entrance including handicapped.

- Tanya (10/5): Excellent! Amazing room and delicious breakfast. - The room was very nice, especially for the price. The shower was very nice sized and one of the best we've had at a hotel, especially in this price range. We loved the breakfast! There were great options for any dietary preference, which is amazing for someone who is gluten-free. The location is great for walking to and from the Keller Auditorium (where we were attending a conference). The bar food options were limited for someone who is gluten-free (there were no protein options available at all that were gluten-free.)
