• David (8/5): - Overall the room was ok, slightly unkept upon arrival but the staff was great and very quick to help. The neighbors in the adjoining room were extremely loud, coming home at 1 am and swearing at the top of their lungs and then blaring the TV the rest of the night. The highlight of the facility is the docks which are great and being right next door to the public boat launch is very convenient however you have to park your trailer quite a distance away.
• Lynn (4/5): - I have not stayed in a motel for over 50 years but was having a hard time finding a property. The rooms are clean but like staying in a camp ground or old school college dorm. Sparse. No closet. Curtains that need to be replaced. Way too much money for what you get!!! Felt like i was roughing it. And people were up to all hours over the weekend and very loud. You otter look elsewhere for accommodations.

View was of a very unappealing backyard;no view of Alexandra Bay and what view was available;was an inlet for launching and removing boats. Whirlpool tub and sink where in main room and bathroom door was to big;had to get next to shower or straddle toilet to close. TV was large and we enjoyed the refigerator and they had lights that had USB outlets in,Kuege was nice.
• Dave (8/5): - The property is very nice in a great spot. The rooms have been updated. The carpets have been removed I was told by someone. But, this was the first time we’ve ever stayed there. The mattresses were not replaced unfortunately and my wife did not sleep very well. They are a little hard. They are old as well about 20 years old.

• JON (6/5): Meh - So the room was clean and the check in staff was helpful and gave tips to area eating places. That said, the Tv cable and remote didn't work. The front staff diagnosed that someone had disconnected the cable. He reconnected it and gave us a new remote that worked. Then when we got back from dinner, we noticed that the door did not latch when we left. Nothing was stolen but we had to slam it to engage lock. There was no trashcan in the room so we had to leave the trash on a tray. The area seems to be mostly a summer tourist town. The hotel sat next to a pond that would probably be nice to look at in the summer.

• Paula (6/5): No morning coffee! - The room overall was satisfactory. It was clean and nice and cool . A little out dated but that’s okay. The office was not open by 8:00 am as stated and we were unable to get a cup of coffee or other assistance. We had mechanical problems with our motorcycle and my husband really could have used that morning cup of coffee while working in their parking lot.

Right in the water and if you are visiting with a boat it would be perfect with a ramp right next door and docks. Room is dated and fairly basic but very clean and well appointed. Worked well for the night with my family and a good value for the money

• Robert (8/5): Budget friendly Hotel - The Otter Creek Inn is a clean, budget hotel. The room is perfectly functional and the King bed is firm. The hotel itself is a bit out of the way, but if you don't mind a 5 minute walk it is fine.
• Peter (8/5): Nice 2 day stay - Stayed here to visits friends in the area a site see. Great location to walk to town. Nothing fancy about the hotel but it was clean, cool and ample parking. Worked for us.

• Valerie (4/5): - We were placed right next to the office despise many open rooms. The vending machine that doesn’t work is still plugged in. The curtains don’t block out the lights from that. There were odd things.... like.... a ceiling tile was open, so we could see above. That was unsettling. The spare pillows had hairs on them.... yuck! For the cost, the rooms were pretty dismal. I visit the area frequently.... and i don’t imagine we'll stay here again.

Door lock was terrible and I got li locked us from inside and need to call management to open it. Didn’t get proper sleep at all. Not a good place to stay and will prefer better place to stay next time

We came in for a wedding being held at one of the other resorts and the price there was outrageous for one night. Plus they had a 2 night minimum that we didn't want to do. We found Otter Creek Inn and the price was great! The place was simple and clean and fit our needs perfectly. We would stay again!

Nicely maintained grounds with waterside seating in a remarkably quiet environment easily walkable to downtown. Price point is amazingly reasonable given location. Why pay for a pool, etc. when you’re going to be out fishing or sightseeing all day. Rooms are spotless. Staff are welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about the area and local attractions, activities.

I didn't like the fact that the air conditioner was at the front of the room so if it was on and you sat outside your room it blew hot air over you and it was noisy. I suppose thats why the built a nice common seating area. Overall pleasant stay

• Steven (4/5): - The owner accused us of smoking in the room. We dont even smoke! She banged on the door, said i smell cigarettes. I opened the door wide, invited her in & said it is not coming from this room, we dont even smoke. She very rudely said, I know what it smells like & its coming from this room! No smoking in the rooms! The rooms were musty and unpleasant when we checked in, we had the window open to let in fresh air. Many other guests were outside smoking on the balconies, we were constantly walking through smoke clouds to get to & from our room..perhaps she smelled that. I have never felt so attacked. It was so blatantly rude. We will not recommend nor return to Otter Creek Inn. Just shameful.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Otter Creek Inn was just like the kind of motel I used to stay at when I traveled with my parents as a kid. It was comfortable and clean. It seemed to be very family friendly and quiet enough to get a good night's sleep! I had no idea when I booked it, but it was easily within walking distance of all the attractions I wanted to see in the 'tourist' center of Alexandria Bay. I was genuinely excited with the location! The woman working the front desk was helpful and kind and helped us map out all of the different places we could visit. Excellent stay!
• Alystar (10/5): - This is an absolute gem. I loved the location, it is a five minute walk from the center so it is nice and quiet. The rooms are incredibly clean and the owners are so nice and friendly. I can’t wait to go back and stay again.

Upon checking in, I was given a map with must see items. Also, I was early and was able to park in the parking lot before checking in. Was given a lot of advice. Room was clean. Beds were perfect for my family, but a little hard for me. Only thing missing was a hairdryer. I am used to having one in the room. Ran to the nearby Family Dollar and picked one up for cheap. Everything else was perfect. Enjoyed our stay!!! I highly recommend to everyone! The property is very quiet on a dead end street. Close to post office, restaurants and shops. Best was going to the Scenic Park that the owners recommended. We spent evenings there. Played cards at the picnic tables, watched the sunset, swam in the beach area, and watched the boats go by. Beautiful view of the lighthouse and of Boldt Castle. Thank you Debbie for all the recommendations and the great experience at Otter Creek Inn!!
