Guest Reviews
- Steve (7/5): Good staff, good location - Good location Stairs to the room
- Caroline (7/5): Great for a short stay - V convenient location in the town. Clean and what looked like newly decorated room. Had a twin room with my sister. We both found the beds comfortable and was good value for a 2 night stay Not impressed with the breakfast.

- NEIL (9/5): - Wouldn’t stop anywhere else in Tamworth. Clean, comfortable and just good all round. NA
- Margaret Lea (8/5): - Some of the staff were friendly and helpful. The Quorn sausage and mash was very nice. The shower had no power.

- Spike (10/5): Best kept cheap ‘n cheerful secret! - We had a Lads & Dads get together, on Saturday afternoon/evening. Fantastic price for a bank holiday weekend! Great bar, short walk to town centre. Really nice & helpful staff, easy parking. Nice room and fab Full English! What’s not to like?
- Chris (9/5): - It's an old building but the rooms are modern.
We had a very comfy twin room and it was quiet.
- Sharon (6/5): Clean tidy basic accommodation. A place to rest your head - Stayed at the Globe Inn whilst visiting my brother. It was clean and tidy but very basic. On returning back in the evening lots of drunken men coming back. Very intimidating and quite noisy. Well positioned to my brothers flat. Staff nice. Would stop again because of how convenient it was. But to be honest not out of choice. Drunk men falling all over the place. Couldn’t get their keys in the doors. In our way so we couldn’t get in
- Richard (10/5): -
- Stacey (10/5): Comfortable stay in a great location - Good location extremely clean and the beds were the comfiest! N/A
- Knotty Ash (8/5): Tamworth weekend - Great hospitality, good value and location Didn't take AMEX
- Jacqueline (8/5): - Beautiful hotel clean and great staff Noise from outside maybe Aircon and better double glazing

- Andrea (9/5): Nice room and comfortable bed. - It was a big hotel on a more quiet road which was good. A car park was right next door, so this made it easy to park and not so far to carry luggage. The check in was easy. The room was bright and clean with a lovely big bed, which was very comfortable. The bathroom was new with a shower. The hotel didn’t have a lift and I find stairs difficult. I did know this when I booked. Our room was quite a way from the top of the stairs too.
It backs onto a club and there was some music noise but it stopped after midnight.
A mat for inside the shower wasn’t supplied and a handle on the shower wall would be a good idea.
- Neville (10/5): Excellent location, spotless, friendly staff, comfortable bed, good food - Convenient location close to the town and with car park adjacent Nothing

- Mandy (8/5): Good value for money - The location was perfect to catch up with family and friends in the area. My single room was perfect for my 1 night stay. Very clean and comfortable and nice clean bathroom. Everthing i needed for a comfortable stay Loved the black out blinds. The staff are very friendly. I felt safe staying here alone and will return. Its noisy out on the street but you have to expect that in the middle of a town with lots of pubs and clubs.
- Roger (8/5): Exceeded expectations. - Excellent staff and very clean. Bedroom was comfortable . Shower was excellent.
There is an arrangement to use the pay and display car park next door but unfortunately this was not clear until I had paid for parking elsewhere. only a 5 minute walk so easy to get to the hotel A bit noisy on a Saturday night in Tamworth!
- Tomas (7/5): - Position close to railway station and downtown. Soft and old bed mattracess.
- Lorraine (10/5): - Lonely rooms - great location.
- Victoria (7/5): Great location, clean & comfy. - Location excellent; 4mins from Assembly Rooms (where event held I was there for), 4 mins from Spoons, same to centre of town. 10mins from Castle etc. Clean, up to date, big enough. Good shower, comfy bed. All I'd change/ add are biscuits to the tea tray & a thinner duvet for this time of year.
- Mairi (8/5): An easy spot to stop - Easy parking, comfortable room A little tight for space but reasonable for the cost
- ADAM (6/5): -
- Sue (8/5): Would stay again - Newly decorated , nice pub and great location. The shower cubicle was very small.
- Noel (9/5): - Great location, friendly staff, comfortable clean room.

- Reid (3/5): Tiring - Was in room 8. From about 8pm till 11 pm and then 6.30 am loud noise from a large steel vent outside my window. Phoned number on information sheet at 6.40 as not able to sleep. Complained next morning but told manager on holiday and no-one else had complained about the noise before. Not taking complaint seriously and noise waking me at 6.30.
- Rhoda (7/5): Good value for money - Rooms lovely and clean
Breakfast very good. Noise from outside - not The Globes fault
- Jayne (9/5): Great place to stay - Great location ... Rooms fab , very comfy . Very clean . We had to park elsewhere as their carpark was full , but found a pay and display 5 min walk away .
- Steven (10/5): Cheap and great place to stay - Clean inside, casual atmosphere, staff very friendly oh and breakfast is well worth the money. Unfortunately the night club around the corner was open till around 3.39 am so a bit of noise if you get a room at the front.
- John (8/5): - Location of Hotel, good food, No dislikes

- Clarke (8/5): - Everything, have stayed at the Globe for the last three years. It is consistently good. Toilet seat wasn't secured at at all well. Room should not have been "ready" for occupation. Problem was dealt with very quickly without fuss. Which was impressive.
- Balwinder (9/5): -
- Sarah (9/5): - Very friendly staff
- Lee (10/5): -
- Kazim (9/5): -
- Paul (2/5): I got the 8” by 8” box room , bed up against the radiator , no temperature control and ever bang and sound in the hotel - Nice clean building To many rooms crammed together
- Kirkham (9/5): - Brilliant for the night we stayed Location
- Karl (5/5): Nice hotel but stay away from room 8 - kitchen below very noisy before 7am - Hotel is nice and clean. Staff are great. Food was good. Problem was i was staying in room 8 & the kitchen is below this room. The fan extraction system comes out of the kitchen at the side of room 8 so when the cooking started at 6.45am and the extraction was started it was extremely noisy. Sleep was impossible was this point.
- Freear (8/5): - 3rd time staying clean and tidy Gold no heating and shower was freezing

- Pete (10/5): - Comfortable room, great brand bar staff. Nice breakfast to finish the stay
- Macie (7/5): Overpriced for what it is - Was clean, very basic for the price. The breakfast was not great, I’d recommend going to pitchers next to it

- Beerlightweight (9/5): Good value for money, centrally located accommodation. Will stay again. - Very attentive staff. Room was clean and well appointed.
Location in the centre of town excellent.
Parking next door, free overnight for residents.
Really good, value for money breakfast options. The door lock to the room seemed a bit flimsy.
- Yoshiharu (7/5): -
- Tom (6/5): All in all a nice stay, food and staff were friendly. - The lady behind the bar was polite and helpful, and as I turned up quite late the kitchen were happy to put some food together for me. Parking is free and close. Despite the location being convenient for me, there was a bit of road noise.
- Pawel (10/5): Great location and qiaet - Location All good
- Jess (10/5): - Convenient parking next door, very clean, all the staff members we spoke to were friendly, comfortable beds, breakfast was simple but nice, felt safe with a separate key/door to the rooms section from the pub.

- Rosemarie (10/5): The Inn is full of atmosphere, clean & comfortable. Would happily stay again if in the area. - I did not partake in breakfast as I was still 'Full' from their evening meal. Living alone I do not usually have a big pudding -
Just Kiwi, Apple or grapes - but I could not resist the treacle pudding & custard. (I had not had custard for over 50 years - my husband was allergic to milk so it was never an item) However, my room 12a was very comfortable - I would have liked to stay longer! My stay was to visit again the National Memorial & Arboretum, last visited in 2014. Thank you I didn't like = Having to leave
