• Johanna (9/5): Super gastvrij en welkom, ideaal voor een weekend Baltimore - Geweldige gastvrouw, superfijn ontvangen. Heel mooie locatie, vlakbij het centrum en een ideale uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te verkennen. Het ontbijt aan de lange eettafel was zeker in orde, heel verzorgd, veel keuze qua opties en gezellig om ook je medegasten te leren kennen. Het bed was wat aan de smalle kant, maar wij zijn dan ook twee grote (en iets bredere) mensen die veel ruimte gewoon zijn.

• G Juyn (9/5): - What's not to like. It felt like home away from home. Rianne made sure we were very comfortable, well informed (do go eat at Jacobs Inn!), and she makes a killer breakfast. She has all the information you'll need in the area. Ferries, eating out, boat trips, you name it It was a most enjoyable stay for us. Highly recommended.
• Teresa (1/5): - We saw the property and didn't stay due to mildew. The window over one of the beds had a curtain that was black with mildew. The shower floor had a rim of black. The room felt extremely damp and cold. Although our host was most friendly when we arrived she didn't address our concerns and why we couldn't stay. She hasn't compensated us despite our reasons for not being able to stay. We were upset by the experience.

The room was lovely, the bed very comfortable. Room and bathroom spotless clean. The breakfast was fantastic with a great choice of options, fresh and delicious homemade bread, yogurts, jams... The cake and the bathrobe in the bedroom were a really nice touch. Rianne is adorable and very helpful. Everything was perfect. Thank you so much.

Das Morgenessen mit allen an einem grossen Tisch war sehr persönlich und gut. Die Tipps der Besitzerin waren sehr hilfreich. Das Waschen unserer Wäsche hat leider nicht geklappt. Der Hafenmeister war nicht aufzufinden.

Breakfast was very delicious; everything was fresh and home-made. The property is at the center of the town; 5 minutes walk to the ferries. Rianne is an amazing host. Aveva preparato anche un dolcetto di benvenuto buonissimo. Posizione centrale, per accedere ai ristoranti si deve fare una salitina ( in base alla direzione in andata o ritorno). Il bagno con la finestra, molto raro! Doccia piccola ma efficiente, Parcheggio nel cortile molto comodo. La colazione è stata eccezionale, tutto fatto in casa, marmellate davvero strepitose. Insomma una sensazione di famiglia perchè si fa colazione nel salone di casa , veramente accogliente. niente

• Deborah (10/5): A B&B that understands the meaning of hospitality. - The Stone House is a lovely B&B, situated a few minutes from the fantastic restaurants in Baltimore and the pier where you can catch a ferry to visit the islands. The owner went over and above with hospitality. Having stayed in many hotels I have grown tired of buffets. Eating at the Stone House was a delight. The food served each day was of a very high standard and the provision of a cake to have with tea or coffee was very appreciated. The fresh homemade bread and yogurt made the delicious breakfast special. The owner took time to chat with everyone and offered tips and advice. In today’s world information is easily found but getting a locals insight into trails around the area and what to order at the restaurant is always appreciated. I also went on a sea trip with the owners husband. Sadly the whales stayed away but the views were fantastic.

The breakfast, with its fresh homemade bread and local produce, was delicious. The homemade snack on arrival was a welcome touch, as were the coffee and tea making facilities.

Our host Rianne has been great, enthusiastic about her home and what to explore, and the B&B thriving and beautifully embedded in Baltimore. We had a lovely time, and even when travelling with a toddler can be slightly stressful at times, we enjoyed all recommendations, and especially the thoughtful breakfast Rianne prepared. Il a passé la majeure partie de son temps sur son gsm au lieu de s'occuper des clients et de chercher les animaux.

• Sylvia (10/5): Grandioser Aufenthalt - Das war bis dato einer meiner besten Aufenthalte in Irland. Rianne ist eine echte Perle. Sie ist herzlich und überhäuft einen mit Tipps für Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung und bezieht dabei das Wetter und die individuellen Bedürfnisse ihrer Gäste mit ein. Man kann von ihr auch sehr gute Restauranttipps bekommen. Die Frühstück war großartig. Sie backt das Brot selbst und auch der Joghurt und die Marmeladen waren selbstgemacht. Selbstverständlich bekommt man auch Pancakes, Eier und Lachs oder ein echtes irisches Frühstück, mit allem, was dazu gehört. Sie erfragt ebenfalls Allergien und richtet sich darauf ein. Ich bin wirklich schon sehr viel gereist, habe aber noch nie jemanden getroffen, der mit so viel Herzblut dabei ist.
