- Darren (10/5): Excellent - The staff were excellent and extremely helpful. Location was great and the rooms were spacious.
Breakfast was great as well! More seating and organising of the front entrance so allowing it easier to take off/ put on shoes.
- Robyn (9/5): Great location, super friendly staff - The staff were so helpful, offering to take us to local ski lifts and pick up from train station. They gave us great local recommendations and made us feel very welcome. Room was good size and breakfast delicious with a fresh cooked hot meal. Location was beautiful, easy reach to nearest ski lift and into Hakuba village. Great value for money, recommend! Nothing

- Selina (10/5): Absolutely brilliant - Friendly efficient service and their courtesy shuttle service is magnificent. Nil

- Michael (9/5): Amazing staff and very pleasant stay - The staff were amazing and very accommodating of our requests and were very generous with giving lifts throughout our stay
- Nynke (9/5): Great stay with very helpful staff and good food - great family friendly lodge, staff was super friendly and helpful and location close to free shuttle buses. Ski slopes are within walking distance - but not really with kids and skigear, staff often brought us in the lodge van which was great. Breakfast very good with every morning a nicely prepared warm item and simple buffet (western) The only family room available was the Japanese one with tatamis, so we booked that, but we are not used to sleeping on tatamis and felt quite hard
- Lyle (10/5): Great Time - The staff were really friendly and helpful. They went over and above with our shuttle runs.

- Emma (10/5): - Had a nice games/social area and the rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were amazing and accomodating and always happy to help :)
- Lye har (9/5): A cosy lodge in Hakuba run by a lovely crew of staff. - The lovely staff at Morino Lodge were always happy to help by offering us a ride to and from the ski lift and train station. They also provide delicious breakfasts and pizza dinners! Nothing

- Tyleisha (8/5): Overall I’ve never had a place with such nice and helpful staff with heaps of recommendations and always willing to help - The staff in particular were absolutely exceptional and helpful. My partner and I were first time skiers and we managed to get lifts everywhere even when things went wrong sometimes and a lot of info was provided about buses. The room is cosy and nice and you get the full snow experience from your room. There was a bit of a foul smell coming from the bathroom area which was unpleasant. We copped a whiff every time we walked in. Also the power kept on going out and emergency lights that came on could not be turned off which also disturbed our sleep a couple times
- gioia (8/5): - Courtesy bus, staff and location to bus stop Nil
- Miriam (10/5): -
- Vaughan (9/5): Will return. - The location to Happo One ski field was only a 10 minute walk. Staff were extremely friendly and accomodating.

- Eugene (9/5): - Everything, and all the staffs are great, friendly and super helpful to make our 5N stay in Morino Lodge super memorable. Location is great too as the free shuttles to/from the different resorts stop at Tokyu Hotel bext door which make its super convenient, not forgetting the staffs can also send us to where we need as long as they are free and available. Will definitely consider Morino Lodge again when coming back to Hakuba. Nothing much, if I were to nitpick, probably the breakfast as the hot food options on a couple of days were not what we are used to having, but the cereals and pastries available daily still manage to fill us up well for a few good morning runs on the slopes.

- Val (8/5): - The staff here is very helpful and friendly. My kids said this is their favorite accommodation during our japan trip. We ordered pizzas for two nights and they were amazing!! Will definitely consider coming back next year! The location is abit far from happo for walking. But the staff are always happy to give a lift and it's a very short ride by taxi.
- Summer (8/5): - Friendly English speaking staff, good room size. They provided yummy hot breakfast in the mornings which was good. Good location close to Happo-One. Very clean hotel would recommend. 2 single beds put together not a full bed. We stayed 4 nights our room was not serviced once not sure if this is normal for a lodge.

- Luke (9/5): Perfect accommodation for our little snowboard trip - The location only being about a 10 minute walk to the slopes was amazing. The staff are super friendly and are really helpful. Most activities are under a 10 minute drive away making the location perfect.

- Amy (8/5): Very good - The vibe

- Martin (9/5): Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay for our family’s first trip to the snow. - Marino Lodge was a very comfy, cosy, friendly and relaxed place to stay. We had travelled for a long time from Australia, and it was a great first stop on our travels. The breakfasts were delicious, the pizza’s amazing (especially great because we had little kids with us), the staff were warm and helpful, especially so when we needed a bit of extra help with lifts in the van because of a skiing injury my wife sustained - nothing was too much trouble. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or recommend to anyone heading to Hakuba. We stayed a week after the season had kind of closed, so we had some trouble with accessing everything we needed across Hakuba as things were closing down and seasonal staff were heading off. We were very lucky to be there for some exceptional snow fall, and I would love to come back again in season.
- Jacob (10/5): Wonderful staff and a cozy little lodge - You can have a good conversation with the staff, and the common area is a great place to relax after a big day out. They are eager to help you out where possible. Home made breakfast each morning was fantastic as well. Only a small thing I feel, but noteworthy regardless. The queen / kingside bed I had was essentially 2 singles pushed together. Can be a little uncomfortable sleeping in the middle of the bed.
- Gavin (7/5): Good - good sized rooms Hung over staff
- Gibian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ariana (9/5): Would return in a heartbeat. A slice of home after hotel stays. - Beautiful lodge that felt like home! Fresh, hot breakfast that changed every morning made upon request, while also had the usual cereals/toast/pastries/fresh fruits/juices available. The pizza shop ran out of the lodge was also extremely convenient and delicious after a big day of snowboarding - they even deliver straight to your room! Staff were more than happy to drop off anywhere around Hakuba from morning to night in lodge vans. Fantastic stay after being in hotels for rest of trip.
- Douglas (10/5): Comforting lodge atmosphere in a convenient location. - Morino Lodge was the perfect choice for our family’s introduction to Japow! The team that run the lodge made us feel right at home, and were so great with our two girls. Our eldest even said she wanted to live there! Cooked breakfast every morning, and transport around the village made life so much easier. Being conveniently located close to Evergreen Ski School for kids, and the Tokyu Hotel for shuttles to other mountains sealed the deal. We’ll definitely be back.
- Virginia (7/5): Skiing trip - The room was very comfortable with a wonderful view. Breakfast was good.
- Brendon (9/5): Superb -
- Fred (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (9/5): Superb -
- Adrian (9/5): Great place to stay. - Casual atmosphere, very helpful and friendly staff. Bit a effort to get to town and back.
- Tracy (1/5): Terrible. - Not a lot. Staff were pleasant enough, would give you lifts to places if they were free. Lots of wardrobe space. Nice shower. Beds were not good, dipped in the middle. We turned the mattress and that was slightly better, but still not good. Very bright in the room during the night, as outside lights were on, no curtains to block any light out. I resorted to wearing an eye mask at night. When they switched the extractor fan on downstairs, it vibrated the bathroom door and I could hear and feel it through the pillows, hence we had to ask them to switch it off. Breakfast was very poor, only one cooked option available each day, none of it cooked well. We had porridge twice in a 7 day stay, it was pretty bad with burnt apples. ( caramelised should not mean burnt!) also took them a long time to cook it, we were hard pushed trying to catch buses after waiting for breakfast to be served. It seems to double up as a pizza delivery service to the rest of Hakuba, no meal option on an evening except maybe a pizza as long as you order early enough, as it could be an hour and a half wait. This has got to be the worst lodge I have stayed in. No facilities except a tiny drying room ( skis have to stay outside, and they are not locked up) Very small lodge. Why this is rated 4 stars is beyond me.
- Emma (9/5): Brilliant and comfortable - We only stayed one night here, but was made to feel incredibly comfortable and welcome. The staff were exceptional!! They were always ready to help and answered all our travellers questions.
- Elissa (9/5): Comfortable, warm and welcoming staff and accommodation. Thanks - The staff went above and beyond to drive guests to restaurants, shopping, gondola, bus stops, etc That we were only there 4 days
- Denis (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the location it settled amongst nature itself Wish they had more on the menu
- Phuttawut (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aden (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natalie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lyndsay (10/5): Amazing stay, amazing staff - Spacious rooms for a family of 4, homely communal area We liked everything
- Lachlan (8/5): A delightful mix of Japanese a western comforts. - We had a spacious twin bedded room (No:3) with traditional Japanese deco & ensuite. Lovely view from our window of the snow laddened forrest. Heating was excellent. Atmosphere was welcoming & friendly. Many English speaking staff. Eri was an especially helpful & patient front of house staff member (grateful thanks Eri😀). Transport was cheerfully organised for our convenience.
- Carlie (10/5): Highly recommend for the easy of getting about, comfort and friendly staff. - The variety of breakfasts was great with a different option each day. Porridge was a family favourite. Sometimes the kitchen staff seemed run off their feet during breakfast and the coffee would take some time to come out.
- Nicole (8/5): Very good -
- Anthony (10/5): Morino Lodge Hakuba offers cozy accommodations, excellent service, and quiet hidden place away from the main village, ma -
- Leen (8/5): Very good -
- Frances (10/5): Amazing :) - Morino Lodge was AMAZING! We stayed for 16 days at Hakuba and this was by far the best service / value we experienced in our 8 day stay. The staff were amazing :) Nothing
- Peter (9/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights here, and if we ever return to Hakuba would book again. - Morino lodge is not and does not pretend to offer 5 star luxury, but it is very clean and comfortable with a chilled atmosphere and positive vibe. The team at the lodge are exceptional and will do anything they can to make your stay as enjoyable and hassle free as possible. The breakfast is great, with a different hot option every morning and the pizzas are delicious, which you can enjoy with a locally brewed beer from the bar. Nothing at all.
- Sale (10/5): Exceptional - Super friendly and helpful staff. Very welcoming. Clean and large rooms.
- Justine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Otik (9/5): Superb - Great location. Excellent service.
- Amanda (9/5): 100% recommend - Matt & Eri had definitely made the stay enjoyable. They gave us really good recommendations & when we had a medical emergency they gave their full support.
We loved the variety of food for breakfast & how warm and cozy the lodge felt. Wish the pillows were a little fluffier 😂
- Kin (7/5): The Hotel just like a big family house, very warm and family feel. - There is free shuttle bus station next to the Hotel (3 min walk) which can send you to different ski parks nearby. Free Laundry service is provided but you have to pay the dryer. There are very limited restaurants around for dinner.
- Peter (9/5): Good pizza good garlic bread Comfy bed and rooms are very clean. - Great location for me. Super pretty location amongst the trees. Staff helpful and friendly.
No probs with any questions. Very helpful. Convenient location to catch buses to the snow fields. Nothing
- Taylor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yoshida (10/5): Homey vacation - The room is cozy and clean with a picturesque view outside. Further, the service is exceptional. The staff are nice and attentive to your needs.
- Erich (9/5): We had an enjoyable stay during our short ski holiday before Christmas. - We were very pleased by the friendly staff. Both when arriving late as well as during our stay. Especially helpful was their support to sort out a flat tire problem I had with our rental car. Breakfast was very good with changing hot meal part during the week. The hotel also provides a washing machine for free use which was very useful to daily wash our ski underware.
- Alan (10/5): Great staff, location and stay, will definitely be back next time in Hakuba. - Super accomodating and assisted up with pick and transport to and from the lodge. Room was great size and clean. All the staff were great also. Will definitely be back here when we return to Hakuba. Nothing.

- Madison (10/5): A cosy, welcoming lodge central to Happo - Morino lodge was fantastic, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, the staff were very welcoming and accomodating, the daily breakfast was great and had good variety. The staff also gave us recommendations on the best places to ski and restaurants which we really appreciated as it was our first time in Hakuba. Overall the lodge was great value for money, definitely would stay again. Thank you Morino Lodge. Absolutely nothing, everything was great!
- Tom (9/5): Superb - Good breakfast, and the staff were fantastic and very accommodating.
- Anurag (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ashton (9/5): Superb - Cute and cosy lovely staff Pretty far away from the town
- Jessica (9/5): Superb - We arrived very early in the morning, they picked us up from another hotel and fortunately were able to get our room ready 4 hours earlier! They gave us good advice being intermediate boarders on which mountains to access.
They cooked us breakfast every morning. Something different on the menu each day we were there. They will personally drive you to close locations. They also helped us with luggage delivery :) No shared kitchen so we couldn't do our own meals - wasn't a big deal for our short stay
- Avapul (9/5): Good location with a comfortable bed. - Good location with a comfortable bed. Pizzas made downstairs that were perfect after a long travel day and after skiing. The shower was a solid 2/10. Minimal water pressure and a dingy spray head. Still able to have a shower but I wouldn't get excited about a nice hot shower after being in the snow. One night down eating pizza, the staff seemed to be a little too comfortable around the bar. One was making another cocktails while they were lounging around like it was their house. Just seemed to come off a bit unprofessional.
- Shan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Deb (8/5): Excellent, friendly staff and very accommodating. - Shuttle service and breakfast included. Not much food choice.
- Haslehurst (10/5): Had a lovely stay. Would stay again for sure - Staff went above and beyond for all of our requests/questions etc We had a lot 😁
- Martin (10/5): Fabulous place to stay - Staff, location, breakfast, beds, shuttle service and info from staff was excellent -
- Sancha (10/5): A lovely quiet break from the busy Hakuba (snow machine festival crowds) -
- Eli (10/5): Exceptional -
- Benjamin (8/5): Comfortable and enjoyable - Great hospitality and they picked me after 6pm back to lodge as no more buses No restaurants nearby
- Shanelle (9/5): Perfect winter getaway with friendly staff. - Staff are friendly and happy to help whenever you need something. The room was spacious and tatami mats were comfortable. The location was also pretty close to the ski slopes. Breakfast options are limited if you have dietary requirements. But we made it work.
