• Greta (9/5): Klein, einfach aber frein! - Die Unterkunft ist einfach. Es gibt alles was man so braucht. Inklusive kostenloser Fahrräder zum ausleihen. Wir hatten jeden Morgen eines kleines Frühstück und einen Kaffee. Der Garten/Das Restaurant ist sehr liebevoll angelegt und bepflanzt. Die Lage ist super. Etwas ruhiger aber dennoch nach am innerstädtischen Geschehen (zu Fuß und per Grab). Die Leute der Unterkunft haben uns einen super komfortablen Abreisetag ermöglicht. durch die Matratze konnte man sehr die Federung spüren.

Everything was perfect, but as the other reviews have mentioned, it was the couple who run the place that made us feel like we were truly cared for. We were sad to leave this homestay and would love to come back in the future. They couldn’t have done anymore to make us feel at home and the food made by Khanh was the best we have had on our trip so far. We couldn’t recommend this place enough, thank you❤️ Nothing
• Rene (10/5): A little Heaven - Strawberry felt like home. The family owner are adorable, kind and they take super good care of the hotel and the guests. We stayed 3 days in this little heaven. This is a unique small hotel. The court/garden is peaceful with beautiful plants. It’s quiet and located near the old town and not far from the beach. The food is delicious and Kan nah and Tao the owners are very humble and friendly. They make everything they can to make you feel home. • Kara (10/5): Fun and relaxing stay! - Beautiful garden patio area in the front for meals and relaxing. The breakfast pancakes were delicious and the hosts were very kind and welcoming! We had a room with a balcony, it was great and very clean! My partner loved playing with the kitten! Nothing! Our stay was excellent!

Nous vous recommandons cet hôtel tant par l'emplacement que pour la gentillesse des propriétaires toujours aux petits soins pour vous satisfaire. Les meilleures adresses vous sont données avec plaisir. Ils prêtent les vélos et scooters. Pour une petite contribution, elle vous nettoie le linge. Ma mère avait peur, la propriétaire nous a même proposé de l'amener en scooter derrière elle. Vraiment d'une gentillesse. Avant une belle averse, elle nous a prêté des ponchos étanches. Le petit déjeuner excellent. Elle nous a même donné la recette des pancakes à la banane. Merci encore, par votre hospitalité, d'avoir rendu ce voyage encore plus exceptionnel qu'il ne l'était déjà. Tout était parfait!!!! Je reviendrais vous voir les yeux fermés.
• Christian (7/5): Clean and good value, but the hospitality felt a bit pushy - The room itself was quite basic, but it matched the price and was very clean, which I appreciated. I like the location, close enough to the city center without being dragged down by all the tourist masses. The main issue for me was the overall interaction with the host, which at times felt more pushy than welcoming. For example: * On arrival, she seemed upset that I hadn’t booked the airport transfer through her * When I went to take laundry elsewhere, she called out “excuse me, where are you going,” which felt a bit uncomfortable * After I had already rented a motorbike, she asked how much I paid and said she could have arranged it cheaper Individually these are small things, but together they made the stay feel less relaxed than I was expecting. I've found in Vietnam it's very normal to ask, but not to push you when e.g. you've already rented the bike or have chosen to go somewhere already.

Alles war herzlich und zugewandt. Wie in den allermeisten südostasiatischen Hotels gab es zuwenige Haken um Handtücher oder verschwitzte T-Shirts aufzuhängen.

• Margaux (10/5): Un accueil formidable ! - Un petit cocon authentique au sein d’une famille merveilleuse qui nous a accueilli avec une grande générosité ! Khan, la propriétaire, nous a fait nous sentir comme chez nous et parle un super anglais qui permet d’avoir de belles discussions. L’endroit est calme un peu à l’écart de la ville, les chambres disposent du nécessaire et la literie est confortable et les petits déjeuner et les plats cuisinés le soir sont délicieux. Il y a des vélos à disposition, très pratique pour aller se balader dans les rizières autour ainsi qu’en ville. Nous avons passé 3 jours formidables, nous reviendrons !

The rice pancakes for lunch were absolutely amazing. If this stay is free when you’re booking, you really should book it. Loved it all
• Yücesan (10/5): - Hier habe ich mich wirklich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Ich kam erkältet an und die waren so unglaublich fürsorglich, dass ich schnell genesen konnte. Lage ist perfekt für den dezenten Rückzug und um Hoi An genießen zu können. Das Zimmer und die Gemeinschaftsbereiche sind super cozy und gemütlich, sehr familiär und warm im Service und mit den kostenlosen Fahrrädern kann man die Umgebung inkl. Altstadt gemütlich erkunden. Das Essen war auch wirklich lecker. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder, danke für alles von Herzen!!!

Ci sono state fornite le bici per raggiungere le vie più animate del vecchio centro che si trova 10 minuti di distanza. La famiglia che gestisce l'homestay è anche proprietaria del ristorante annesso comodo per noi che siamo arrivati con una gran fame a orario di pranzo. Purtroppo la camera era un po' umida (cosa più che normale per questa località), inoltre, vicino ci sono galli che al mattino si fanno sentire.

• Freedom (10/5): This is Hoi An’s hidden gem! - This is the sweetest most calm and relaxing clean and accommodating Homestay I have ever stayed in. The location the rooms are spacious. It’s so close to the old quarter and river and market and all the great restaurants and the hosts are so lovely. There was nothing that I didn’t love about about this place

Enfin le petit dej au top avec d’excellents pancakes dont mon fils me parle encore chaque matin. L’hôtesse est si bonne cuisinière que nous revenions manger chaque soir avant e repartir en ville. • Valeriia (10/5): Exceptional - As many mentioned, the owners are amazing and lovely! So so helpful, Khan speaks very good english and can suggest things and tours to do. The restaurant is so delicious so we not only had breakfast there but dinners as well. The garden is so beautifull aand tranquil you can recharge here easily and its awat from hectic streets with motorcycles. You can use bycicles for free which is perfect to get around the area ans even to go to the beach through the countryside. I would say nothing :) bathroom might need some renovation soon-ish or maybe a deep-clean but overall it was all clean and comfy and everything worked

Loved everything there. And the food! Oh my... have the my quang for breakfast and eat at the restaurant too. Amazing food. Super nice owners 😀 And if trying to get your bearings like me on first day, when coming out of lane, cross main road and walk straight ahead. Brings you to old town and can even take any lane on left hand side and you'll be walking by the river. Other option, is go right at main road, over the bridge and any turn left after brings you there too. Loads of options to eat on those main roads too
• Eric (10/5): Delightful stay in Hoi An - We loved our stay at Strawberry Garden Homestay! They were so hospitable—even waking up in the middle of the night to let us into our room after some hiccups with our bus travel to Hoi An. The room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious each morning. They helped us book some tours and gave us great recommendations. We used the complimentary bikes to easily get into town each day. Laundry services are available (and quick) which was super convenient. Wifi worked great and we could buy water from the restaurant fridge whenever we needed. Nothing!
• Thuy (10/5): Pleasantly relaxing - We love the location. It's close enough from the old town for a pleasant bicycle ride along the river. My mother-in-law and husband walked several times during our stay to the old town just to enjoy the less busy Hoi A vibe outside of the old town. Mrs. Khanh is absolute best. She made the signature mi Quang for my husband coz he's allergic to shrimp. She and her husband are great caretaker of the property. My family and I would stay again and again when we visit Hoi An and if they have availability.

It was quiet (which was great after a noisy apartment in old Hoi An), but still a manageable walk to the attractions. The owners were fantastic and helped us in every way. The kids loved riding around the local laneways on the bikes. The dinner and breakfast was also great. We would definitely stay again. Could update the aircon unit and sheets.

It is nicely located, just a short bike (which is free to borrow from the homestay) ride both to the old town and to the beach. Khanh and her husbands are amazing hosts, providing excellent service, food and tips for what to do. She even joined us for fixing a nice price at a store we wanted to go. I will always stay at this place when visiting Hoi An❤️ Already looking forward to coming back.
• Roel (10/5): Wonderful stay with wonderful owners - Strawberry Garden is a quaint and quiet little place in a convenient location halfway between the Ancient Town and the beach. Best feature of the homestay however is the owner, Mrs khanh. She is super friendly and arranged for everything we needed and a lot of things we did not even know we needed. She surprised our daughter with a super nice decorated cake for her birthday! The restaurant run by her husband is excellent too. We see why so many guests keep returning to their place.
• Atsushi (9/5): Superb - Very friendly family own location. Especially the owner was shelf herself. I highly recommend trying to have all meals. May not be air-tight in the room to be cool even AC is on. May be just for me. May not be hot enough for hot water. But may not need during hot season.

The garden has comfortable chairs and umbrellas. You can enjoy sitting outside and looking at beautiful flowers and plants, while also being protected from the sun :) The breakfast is fresh, delicious, and you can choose from a variety of dishes, so it never gets boring! And the hosts have excellent customer service. I felt very comfortable and cared for. The homestay provides good bicycles with helmet to explore the beautiful surrounding. The location is great and safe - close to everything and yet nice and quiet. Highly recommend staying at this beautiful place! I will come back! -

• Ravi (9/5): An incredible homestay with amazing food and people - A wonderful homestay. Everything is very clean, tidy and well lit. Beds were comfortable. Room and area were quiet and secure. Bicycles are available which are in good condition and highly recommended - I suggest riding along the river to avoid the traffic. You can get to the old town in 10 minutes by cycling or about 20 minutes by walking. As other reviewers have mentioned, the food here is incredible. My only regret is not being able to stay for longer and not having others travelling with me as I feel like I've missed out on trying so many freshly cooked and delicious dishes. The portions are big. I highly recommend the mango salad and vegetable noodles. Breakfast is also great with wonderful fresh fruits daily. For those looking to have a suit or dress tailored, you can get one tailored with the host's sister who runs one of the high-end tailors in Hoi An. -
• Bella (10/5): Wonderful Homestay! - This was by far the best accommodation i had so far in Vietnam. Such a lovely host family, they were all very welcoming and caring. The homestay itself is very idyllic, nice garden and outside area to sit. My room was huge, the bed was comfortable and it wasn’t noisy at all. The free breakfast was much better than I expected. There was really a menu one could choose from with different dishes and drinks. Everything I tried was very tasty. If I will ever come to Hoi An again, I will definitely come back to Strawberry Garden Homestay Nothing relevant to mention here. Just a bigger trashcan would have be nice, or maybe put a second one outside the bathroom.

You enter the garden and there is a very nice restaurant, it doesn't only look cute, they serve such delicious food as well. It has a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff is so friendly! The room was amazing, it had a lot of small hooks for your clothes etc in the bathroom, extra towels. And sooooo clean! You can borrow bicycles for free and they help you organize things (good price motorbike, cooking class). We felt very welcome and they really took such great care for us. Would def recommend and comeback when in Hoi An!

Room was cery clean, specious, bed was really comfortable. Also was well located( 20 min walking distance to the old town). Thanks to that this apartment was really quiet. The owner helped us to rent a motorbike (in great condition, what is not so obvious in Vietnam). Whole family was very helpful and sweet. Breakfast was diverse and so delicious. Around the place there are several restaurants BUT there’s no sense to check them(we did this, so you don’t have to;)). All because the owner- Kana prepared such amazing food for us(she’s running family restaurant as well). The food was fresh, delicious and diverse. We are vegetarians and rather picky eaters, but here- there was no bad choice. In the menu, you will find a lot of options for vegetarians and what is unique, Kana also was able to modify for us some traditional Vietnamese dishes so we could try them. We are travelling around Vietnam several weeks and it was the most pleasant stay! Thank you very much Kana🙏 There was no one thing which I didn’t like. We felt there like home.

Spacious and clean room with everything you need, free bikes were great to get into town or the beach. Quiet area where you can hear the sounds of the garden in the morning :) It was all great.

Khan (the hostess) speaks good English and made me feel so welcome and always took the time to sit and talk with me. She also arranged all the activities I asked for, so I didn't need to go online or speak with people who didn't speak English. There is an on-site restaurant with the BEST food, set in a beautiful garden, that is lit up with lanterns at night. Huge room. Free bicycles. Nice and quiet. Great pool. Use of a kitchen if you want to make any of your own food. This is the best overall place I have stayed in 3 months of traveling. I'll definitely be back.

The room had one large double bed which we shared and the breakfast was delicious - try the mango pancakes and iced coffee! The pool was great as the kids could cool off in the afternoon. The free bikes were used every day as we rode into old town and the local coffee shops. There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like.

• Meiken (9/5): lovely family homestay in a quite spot with beautiful garden feels like home - the family was amazing nice , breakfast was made with love . when I asked for 2 pancakes 🥞 the made it for me . Welkom fruit and nice selection of fruit everyday. also they offer water ( cheaper than supermarket) first 2 small bottles are complimentary. love the garden and flowers , free bikes and not that far from the busy town . the mother and small daughter speak English. feels like comming home to your mam. the daughter did a pritty good job welcoming me when parents not home when I arrived . I will stay her again . didn’t get the room that I booked because of other booking though other Chanel . but they make up for that .I still could use my room until later afternoon that was really nice of them . They 100 times apologized for that mistake . the room needs some small update / TLC( they are working on that ) for example the bathroom. The tub is not working .

The rooms are spacious, clean and full of natural lighting with a cute balcony. You get to use the bikes for free which is perfect when you want to go to the city centre, only 5 min away. • Rachel (10/5): I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone. - The owner was so nice and welcoming! She helped us arrange a tour to the Cham islands and she even packed us breakfast to go when we had an early flight. The property is beautiful and the room was comfortable. Other guests were loud and their voices carried well through the walls and doors.
• Tracy (10/5): you will not find a kinder host in Vietnam! AND she is the most incredible cook! really! the best food I have had here. - the location was ideal. walking distance to town but on a quiet street. gorgeous green setting! My only problem-and I do not necessarily blame the wonderful host- the photos on booking.com did not match the room we got.
• Chris (10/5): would definitely come back here - Very nice place to stay, owners are very friendly and can help with everything from motorbike to cooking class to transport. the have free bicycles, very good food and coffee. cute garden area, very quiet, loved the stay here, can definitely recommend it! they reopened in january 2023 after covid, that’s why there are not much reviews. nothing to complain, everything was perfect :)
• Louise (10/5): Welcoming comfortable & beautiful - very welcoming family when we arrived. The room was bright and comfortable with a bath & a balcony, fridge etc. Nice shower with hot water. The breakfast included was stunning! I missed it once and was honestly gutted, best banana pancake and fresh fruit. the location was perfect for us, in between town & the beaches. you can rent bikes and cycles. Bed comfortable. Very lovely stay didn’t want to leave. Nothing

• Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great ! Very nice room, with everything you may need. The owner is a wonderful person who really took care of us like a mum. She speaks perfectly English so it was very easy to communicate together. Breakfast was really good (the best banana pancakes we had in Vietnam!) and we enjoyed the bikes that are avalaible for free. THANK YOU SO MUCH for everything ! We recommend 100%! Leaving the homestay, I would definitely come back if I go back to Hoi An 😀
