• Karina (10/5): - The location is excellent. Walking distance to the city center and beaches. You can rent a scooter nearby and have lunch at a local restaurant. The staff is very friendly. The weather was bad, so they allowed us to stay in our room while we waited for the ferry. Thank you Theano Hotel for being friendly and welcoming

• josette (10/5): Notre meilleur hôtel depuis le début de notre voyage. - Tout était plus que parfait si je pouvais mettre plus de 10 je le ferais. Nous avons été reçu avec une telle gentillesse par tout le personnel, endroit fabuleux, grand salon de détente dans l’entrée, petit resto excellent.

• Mariela (10/5): Very polite staff at the property, amazing view and big terrace. - Very clean apartment and well maintained, amazing view and big terrace. The staff were incredibly nice and polite. The apartment is around 15 minutes walk by the port in a quiet area with very nice view. Comfortable bed and change of the sheets everyday. Everything was good.

When she noticed that we had a bottle of wine, she offered glasses and found a corkscrew, which she brought up to our room (with a snack). We were happier with the location than we thought we would be. As warned, the shower took a while to heat up, but it was the best we've had on the road this trip.

• ofer (7/5): - הגעתי בסוף העונה כך ששהיתי לבדי במלון. היה כתוב באתר שהמסעדה פתוחה אך לצערי הרב הייתה סגורה. רצוי לציין באתר עובדה זו. אין במלון איש בקבלה, כך שלא ניתן לקבל אינפורמציה עבור אפשרות לארוחות. פגשתי את בעלת המלון ביום האחרון והתרשמתי מאדיבותה ומרצונה לתת שרות לאורחים. למבקרים בסוף העונה רצוי להשאיר יותר אינפורמציה על שירותים ואפשרויות בילוי.

• Jonathan (9/5): Perfectly relaxed and content with my own company for eight days. - It was a pleasant walk into town and yet quietly positioned near to local beaches. There is the special feeling only a good family run hotel can offer, not too large or impersonal. Theano the family member managing the hotel named, conveniently, I believe after her is, as all reviews mention, very welcoming and hospitable. All the staff I came across were equally nice. It is a happy hotel. The weather was not brilliant during my stay but somehow it did not bother me at all because I was so relaxed looking out at the view, just reading using the excellent internet before strolling out for an evening swim then into town for dinner. My needs were simple. My life is blighted by telegraph poles but that is a personal eccentricity, no fault of the hotel and in reality it wasn’t much of an issue.
• Mary (9/5): Best place to be - The hotel is well located, just a 5 minutes walk from both the harbour and Love Beach. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and had a nice balcony. There was a kettle with tea, coffee, and water available. Breakfast wasn’t included, but you can order à la carte from the restaurant. We also loved that the bicycle rental shop was right next door and it was the cheapest in the area. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. At checkout, they even surprised us with a box of delicious traditional sweets made with almond paste and nuts. Such a lovely treat.

İ was not aware İ was getting a room from the side rooms, it still had sea view from the Side from the pics, i thought all rooms had front view. But that effected my overall experience minimally.
• Zoe (7/5): Ask for a quiet & modern room - Lovely friendly and helpful staff, nice communal areas (reception and outdoor seating), good waterfront view, was able to check-in early and good location with an easy 15-20 minute walk to the port and shops/restaurants. I stayed in a single room, which was small and needed updating (didn't see any pictures online and had assumed same style as other rooms) but my big issue was the noise between rooms/corridors e.g.I could hear every word of conversations from my neighbours and a very noisy fridge. Having said that, I booked a last-minute trip to Poros, there was limited accommodation, and the Theano was a bargain. Also important to adjust expectations if arriving from other islands (e.g. Hydra) with better accommodation options and traditional island charm.

• Desirée (9/5): Rilassati a Poros - L'albero è posizionato in una zona tramqulla vicino il mare. Lo staff e Theano stessa sono super cordiali, ti fanno sentire come a casa e sono super disponibili. L'affaccio della camera vista mare è impagabile, abbiamo passato ore sul terrazzo a rilassarci. Una grande sorpresa è vedere riempito costantemente il frigo con acqua fresca ogni giorno! Soggiorno da ricordare con piacere 😊 Solamente da sistemare piccole rifiniture, ma niente di che. Il letto personalmente non dei più comodi, ma sono solo gusti! 😊

The address that Booking gives you is not correct. its a few mins away from that address. Their sign is practically invisible, and it only shows when you are driving from one direction, but not the other. Its rather dull colored, small, and low, so very very easy to miss.

Vista stupenda sulla città di Poros. Posizione ottima per raggiungere a piede 2 spiagge vicine e il centro, per tutto il resto, ci si sposta comodamente ed eventualmente anche in Taxi. Ottimo il bar di fronte aperto tutto il giorno. Consiglio vivamente questo hotel per chi decide di visitare questa bellissima isola. Nulla, tutto perfetto.
