- Bruce (4/5): Disappointing but clean and usable. - So to start this review , whilst I have given this a 2 it isn’t a bad motel, however this is compared to other places we have stayed at and the price you pay. I paid over $900 for 4 nights. What you are paying for is the location. It is walking distance to the town centre. What has clearly happened is this quaint little town has been over run with billionaires which has pushed the price of everything up and I understand that. This hotel was probably the cheapest in the town but still very expensive for what you get. I don’t know if this price is because of the rates they have to pay or whether they have hiked the price because of demand and location. If it is the later which I think it will be , the level of accommodation should have been upgraded. The beds were 2 queen beds and were the hardest and most uncomfortable, you couldn’t lay on your side it hurt so much. We were on the ground floor and whilst the people above were not stomping every floorboard creaked when they moved even the slightest. So for 4 nights we had hardly any sleep. The positives were the room was very clean and housekeeping came in every day and were brilliant. The toilets are low to the ground they fill almost completely with water making peeing standing up or wiping whilst sitting very unwise decisions. The shower head was way too low even for my wife who is 5,6. It just wasn’t comfortable or worth the price, but little choice if you want to stay in town and I think they know that.
- John (10/5): A great find - We booked a one night stay at the Golden Eagle. It was the least expensive property available (nothing in Jackson is cheap) and honestly we were not expecting much judging from the pictures. It looked old and we figured it was very well used. It was a last minute reservation and when we arrived a a couple hours early I also asked if it would be possible to have a room on the first floor. The very pleasant manager behind the desk happily obliged and then said that the room would be ready in a few minutes. She handed me the card for the room and by the time I pulled the car across the lot to the room the housekeeper was done and we were able to move right in. The room was basic but it was very neat and clean, surprisingly spacious and everything was in working order. The location is a short walk to the center of Jackson where there is plenty of dining and shopping available. I would gladly stay there again.

- Mark (8/5): - Lodging in downtown Jackson is quite pricey and this property is no exception. You are paying for the convenience of being able to walk to everything in the area. The room was clean, spacious, and the bathroom was nice. You can think of this Inn as a high end cabin but certainly, no high end chain hotel.

I wish there has been sheers on the large window as well as darkening drapes so we didnt feel so visable to the parking lot when drapes were open.

About a 5-7 min walk into town.if you’re looking for a place to lounge, go somewhere else. If you’re in town to explore and need a place to rest, this is it.

- armando (6/5): - For what we paid, it could have been much better. I understand the high prices because of Jackson reputation, I did find much better facilities at a bit higher price and would be worth it. All amenities were out dated and very noisy .

Concrete on steps to second level was broken up in spots but still safe and manageable. Would return to that place if returned.

Cons: No laundry or complimentary breakfast/coffee. They do have coffee maker in room but the coffee isn’t very good. However, there’s a great bakery/ coffee shop named Persephane’s a very short walking distance. Would stay again. Location is awesome!

I could hear the people in the room next to me as if they were in my room when they were talking or going to the bathroom. There was no way to lock the window in the back. This place was well rated and yet still expensive, even though it seems below average for cost in this area. It was very convenient to dining and shopping options, which was nice. The staff were very helpful.
