• Liam (10/5): Superb hotel, but need to revisit menus and cost of food and drink. - Superb hotel. Staff (particularly Maryna, Emel, Alp, James and Kaan) were fantastic. A lot of attention to detail and incredible (and we’ve stayed in a lot of top hotels). Breakfast, location, beaches, buggies all amazing. Menus could have been better - while we don’t have children over 1, the child menus were not particularly healthy. The biggest downside was the cost of food and drink. While you expect to pay up for Six Senses, the pricing made little sense especially considering we were in Turkey, not the Maldives. Cocktails were more than central Mayfair and food was just off the charts expensive for what you got (kebab - €50+ for a single one - would be a starter in the UK for no more than £20). While I understand that there are many wealthy people visiting, the costs went against us spending.

Can summon an electric buggy to navigate the hilly resort. Room service food options offered a couple of simpler and cheaper options than the main restaurant and we weren't paying extra for water. Didn't use the spa and "wellness" services but were available ( for an additional charge). Member of staff was always available on WhatsApp for any query. Friendly cats and resort dog! Price of drinks was exhorbitant eg 90 euros for a bottle of ordinary wine and 24 euros for glass of prosecco. Charged for water at dinner without explaining. Also no options for a light snack on site. Food overall was very dear, although good portions and freshly made. Even with a car there are no options to eat elsewhere nearby. Resort uses IT for most things which is fine until it doesn't work!

The staff are very accommodating, attentive and helpful in making sure that each family member feels taken care of. The hotel itself is beautifully designed and the multiple beach options provide variety. The food options are also great. The staff at the main restaurant are super friendly and make you want to come back again and again! Maryna, Hazal and Emel are superstars that really made our trip special! The from could have been cleaned a bit better, especially the bathroom. Sometimes the water, tea and cups were not restocked in time, and we needed to call and ask them to bring more.

Although about an hour’s drive from the airport through hills and villages, the journey is well worth it once you arrive at this sanctuary of peace and beauty. The highlight is the staff: from the personalised GEM service by Melis, to the professional restaurant and spa teams, and the ground staff who ran daily activities — everyone made us feel welcome. Our maid, who provided thoughtful twice-daily service, left a lasting impression even though we didn’t catch her name. The spa was outstanding, with treatments that were both relaxing and rejuvenating. We also enjoyed a variety of complimentary activities, which kept the week engaging. Along with access to the numerous beaches, gym, yoga and sports facilities. Dining is a mixed point: the restaurants serve delicious meals, but it can become expensive and limited if staying more than a few nights. On the other hand, breakfast is exceptional, with plenty of fresh options to enjoy throughout the week. On arrival, however, there was no welcome drink and my VIP status was not acknowledged — no upgrades, discounts, or added benefits, which was disappointing. That said, the check-in process was quick and efficient. Overall, this is not just a resort — it’s a destination where you can truly relax, reset, and feel cared for at every moment. We left deeply refreshed and are already considering a return.

Большая просьба к руководству отеля организовать места кормления животных, на территории отеля их живет много, они абсолютно безобидны , очень добрые , не нарушают покой отдыхающих , но было бы хорошо организовать именно со стороны отеля поддержку их жизнедеятельности , даже для приезжающих детей это был бы хороший пример заботы о братьях наших меньших . Все в отеле было замечательно , мы обязательно сюда вернемся , это настоящее прекрасное место с прекрасной природой , покоя, комфорта, ментального здоровья и очень приятных людей , как персонал отеля, так и отдыхающие. Такого нет . Есть только пожелание о дополнительной заботе к животным .

Everything is oriented towards health and sport – the gym and basketball facilities are excellent, biking and hiking routes have breathtaking views, and the padel and tennis courts are top-notch. The boat trip was also unforgettable. Food was fresh and delicious, with most ingredients locally sourced. Our personal manager, Anastassiya, was incredibly helpful and attentive 24/7. The only small issue was that the cleaner kept taking away the candies and cookies we had paid for, which was a bit inconvenient.

• DAVID (2/5): - Extremely Disappointing Experience. We chose this hotel expecting a world-class experience. What we got was neglect and indifference. My wife became seriously ill with food poisoning after dining in the hotel’s restaurant on the first night. We ordered a locally caught fish which was grilled just for us. Only we ate this. We lost 3 out of the 5 days, my wife confined to our room not to rest, but unable to leave. The level of hygiene in the outside restaurant was shocking. When our fish dish arrived, the waiter leaned in so close to the plate — face nearly in the food — as he checked for bones. He wasn’t wearing a mask, continually wiped his nose on his sleeve mid-service, and the blue medical gloves he put on as he pulled out the bones had been stuffed in his trouser pocket. This was downright unsanitary. The hotel made no real effort to take responsibility, instead trying to shift the blame to elsewhere. There was no concern shown to my wife, apology made to her or even a question directly to her on departure as to how she was. Be aware too of the fish farm directly opposite the hotel. The fish slime coats the sea water where you swim in the bay. The hotel try to keep on top of the slime but that’s a hard task and not always do they succeed. Small pool area over in with kids and left messy by those who use it.

• Antonio (10/5): Exceptional - It is a hidden gem, away from the hustle and bustle of Bodrum's beaches and parties. A great place for families or to relax and connect with nature. The food is of excellent quality in all restaurants and the staff is very helpful and available. There is a wide variety of activities for both adults and children. The indoor pool, although advertised as heated, was colder than the outdoor pools. The hotel is 1-hour drive from the nearest airport, and the journey is sometimes not very pleasant, as the road is in poor condition. I would not recommend arriving at night, as the road can be a bit scary, although it is quite scenic during the day.

Upside - Kids club fab and the wonderful lady there kept my daughter occupied for hours. Free kids food for under 6 really appreciated. Room was beautiful - after some moving. Spa is best I have ever seen or experienced, beach look magnificent, service with personal concierge on Whatsap beyond helpful. The service is outstanding. Restuarants that were supposed to be open - per their dates - were not. So we lost a whole restaurant and bar area. Then the others all close at the same time - literally nowhere to get food at a certain period. Then they closed another restaurant unexpectedly for a night while we were there - and over cautiously closing entire outdoor areas and even beach in expectation of bad weather left very, VERY limited choices and no where at all close to drive to eat as an alternative. We ate a lot via room service - which was luckily delicious. No outdoor pools were heated, so both totally usable, beach restaurant closed on bad days. There were days where there was only the same place to eat for breakfast lunch and dinner. I saw families just sit in their same table for every meal multiple days in a row. Every meal. The hotel needs to think ahead and solve this problem. Also they at first put us in rooms - that had a bad view - with hedges and overlooking roof of other buildings, very dark, lights needed all the time. They worked with me and we eventually found a perfect room - which was actually a class down but bright. I would be very disappointed to book sea view and get any of the rooms they initially showed me which was many.
• Alison (6/5): Pleasant family hotel - The restaurants are lovely- never had a bad meal and the beach is really nice, the gardens and the outlook of the property in general is beautiful. Gym was great, and kids club was exceptional. Staff in the restaurants were lovely and it was a very family friendly hotel, but with that being said I wouldn’t reccomend for people not travelling with young children. There was a significant issue with our bill, that I have never encountered in any other 5 star property. Also our room ( non smoking!!!) STUNK of smoke, the rooms are under par for a six senses property and need some investment. But the main issue was the cigarette smell which was so appalling I could barely sleep. It should never have been handed over in that state.

Also loved the spa. The hotel was amazing, but there’s a few small things I didn’t love. Everything is very very expensive - for example, an aperol spritz is €30. I also wish they provided more water in the room. The tv screen mirroring didn’t work, and the only English channels were news channels. Also, beware that the drive to the hotel is very windy and bumpy… our entire family got extremely car sick. But honestly, it’s worth it once you’re there!

• Andrea (10/5): Sehr Toller Aufenthalt - Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Six Senses Kaplankaya. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und das Hotel bietet unglaublich viel. Der Transfer vom Flughafen Bodrum dauert ca. eine Stunde und ist nicht sonderlich angenehm. Die Strasse ist eher rudimentär und in mittelmässigem Zustand. Einmal angekommen begeistert die wunderschöne Umgebung und die Anlage des Hotels, welche in das felsige Küstenterrain eingebettet ist. Das Hotel und die beeindruckenden Grünanlagen sind gut gepflegt. Da sich das Hotel über 500 Hektaren erstreckt und am Hang gelegen ist, gibt es einen gratis Buggyservice mit sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Fahrern. Wir hatten einen Ridge Terrace Garden View Room, eine Art freistehendes Häuschen mit kleiner Terasse, das sich etwas vom Hauptgebäude entfernt in der obersten Häuserreihe befindet. Das Zimmer war nett mit einem grosszügigen und bequemen Bett und einem grossen Badezimmer ohne Badewanne. Für unsere Tochter wurde das Sofabett am Fusse des Elternbetts inkl. Bettgitter vorbereitet, was sehr gut funktioniert hat. Leider bietet das Zimmer etwas wenig Stauraum und Ablagefläche für Kleidung und Koffer. Der Service zeichnet sich insbesondere durch die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Mitarbeitenden aus. Es kam teilweise zu Unstimmigkeiten und ab und an wurde der Tisch über längere Zeit nicht abgeräumt. Grundsätzlich war aber alles super. Besonders für Kinder bietet das Hotel sehr viel tolles Programm und einen eigenen Spielraum.

Way to too far from bodrum, takes 1.5 hour or even 2 by car to go to bodrum. There is a boat that goes to Turkbaku but it is €50 each way per person ! And only goes twice a day. Not a good range of breakfast or food for a vegetarian.

The sport facilities are just amazing, perfect for the very hot hours of mid day. Spa also great, so many things to do. Beach nice maybe a bit busy. Restaurants very good food and different choices. Staff really does everything to make you feel relaxed. Very helpful and always available. The sea is just amazing. This place is amazing but there is maybe some thinking on the size/availability of beaches. Bit busy and quite full of children. As there are several (small) beaches and especially looking at the future (and their plans to keep expanding the resorts with hotels/residences) maybe an adult only beach would be nice. Also more therapists at the spa.

Everything was perfect, and above all I want to thank Büşra who personally took care of all our needs in an excellent way. I had the opportunity to test the Spa, exceptional and regarding the treatments, I received the best facial ever. Compliments to my therapist. Since I decided to extend my stay, the size of the room is definitely not big enough for a long stay. So I would recommend reviewing the square footage and obviously adding a service bathroom, it should be much bigger to accommodate a longer stay in my opinion. And then add Apple TVs, as the TVs are synchronized only on Android, and that is essential.

There is nothing wrong with this place.

• Mahomed (4/5): Serene location with 0 hospitality - Very serene, good food , nice beach Unprofessional stuff with poor empathy, no transparency, absolutely unhelpful as an example buggy never stops to offer a ride . Not entertaining. During check in twice was trying to put us in villa that we never booked. Deceiving customers .
• Joanne (8/5): Great hotel, super attentive start and very relaxing time. - The views are amazing and the staff are extremely attentive. The food in every restaurant is amazing however I would suggest ordering less from the main restaurant as the portions are very big! Spa is amazing, definitely get the lympathic drainage. Would have like if the hotel started the boat service earlier in the season so that we could go across to Bodrum. We went at the end of May so it would have been great ot have that option.

• Ivan (10/5): One of the best experiences - This was one of the best family vacation experiences in my life. We have travelled together with my wife and two kids and later my parents also joined us. We lived in a winderfull 6 people villa high in the mountain with a fantastic sea view through panoramic window-wall. Villa has a very well-thought design with 3 bedrooms and a very big hall and studio-kitchen. One of the best things that everyone and especially kids liked was a private and very clean infinity pool. It was very nice swimming in it since it felt like you were swimming in the private sea. I also want to say big thanks to our wonderfull experience team: Can Ergel, Emre, Ruya, Can Ozener and Ozgur. These people were constantly in whatsapp chat with us replying with only several seconds delay! Whenever we needed a buggy to drive us to the beach or to sports or to the local restaurants and back - it was in mere minutes! Whenever there was any minir issue in the villa, it was fixed the same day without any question asked. When I forgot a charging cable for my kindle these people arranged its purchase and delivery via taxi from the nearest town. We like to play badminton with my kids, but unfortunately there was no badminton kit available in the sports, so it got purchased just for us without any additional fees. I would also highly recommend wonderfull private beaches with the sand that me and my family enjoyed a lot and great level of service when you are served with free cold water and towels on the beach. The room cleaning happened twice a day including preparing rooms for a sleep and leaving small tasty gifts each evening! It was constantly super clean although 2 kids were trying hard to mess things up :-) All members of my family enjoyed this trip and exceptional level of service. It exceeded our expectations and we are looking forward to visit Six Senses Kaplankaya again!

• Ramzi (9/5): Amazing escape - Six senses Bodrum is fabulous , far from the city though . So it is an escape . breakfast great . Landscaping amazing - views superb . Beaches nice . Staff friendly . Meze by the sea was phenomenal . Well done to the executive chef . Price very high . House keeping was not great .

• Aseem (10/5): Best property in Turkey - One of the best properties in the entirety of Turkey! Amazing, well trained staff all over, especially the manager of Meze by the Sea who gifted us a bottle of their own Olive Oil without even asking, John, who gave us amazing property tours, the entire spa team for the amazing management of the wet facilities (which i feel is one of the best i have experienced till now), May and Pablo, both who conducted amazing and fun activities on Global Wellness Day and Mustafa for the amazing TRX class. The seas are clear and beautiful, with fish all around. Top notch food, definitely worth a stay at Six Senses Kaplankaya (minimum 2 nights to enjoy the place) No lifeguard on duty on any of the pools or the Main Beach during our stay, which though not a problem for someone who knows swimming, but should be there for children who snorkels there as well.

• George (10/5): Incredible stay! - The most beautiful property, best service, food, facilities, I could go on and on. Everyone there went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. The property is in a secluded location but you won’t find yourself wanting to leave. We couldn’t fault it and will definitely be going back!
• Jalloul (4/5): I don’t recommend - . Some of the staff are very friendly and warm. . They had a construction work next door and they didn’t disclose it on booking.com. . They offered me a free massage but I find it very dishonest to make people drive all the way to a resort to then spend time trying to get the construction noise out. The excuse is that it’s next door and it will continue until May 15 but they hide this detail from customers upon booking. . 09.05 am house keeping enters immediately after ringing. I didn’t put a dnd but didn’t expect that gives them the right to come in at any time. The area has much much better hotels. I don’t recommend this place.
