- Peter (4/5): My booking not registered-------NOT HAPPY!!!! - When I arrived the only person there was a Thai lady who spoke little English; I showed her my Hotels.com booking # and she said it wasn't in their system. I had booked a deluxe double. I wanted to speak to the manager but she said she was away organizing a wedding and had not checked that day's bookings. The lady herself did not know how to do it. She showed me the last room avail. which was a twin room far from deluxe. I took it and got a bad back from the hard bed I slept on. Breakfast was simple but OK. The hotel is old but is walking distance to Robinsons (Central Plaza) and the bar area.
- Alfred (2/5): - The hotel was overbooked. When I arrived I could hardly find anyone at the guest house, the guy who finally showed up from the reception spoke only Thai. I somehow learnt that even though I made the booking they didnt have an available room. Then without explaining anything they took us to an ugly hotel far about 1 km out of the city. It was a super bad first night in Thailand with my girlfriend who I just met again after more than a year. Thanks to ebookers I got a refund at least.
- Sombat (8/5): Nice family run hotel very close to UD Town - I expedced a safe small hotel - family style and that was what I got. Nice big bathroom was a plus, so was the ability for late breakfast. Taxi at the airport knew the small hotel and it was easy to get there without any explanations. UD Town and 24 hours McDonald and 7-11 were just next door
