Guest Reviews
- David Hale (8/5): -
- Linda (2/5): I had to leave and go to another hotel - That fact they were able to accommodate me even though I messed up my reservation and arrive a day late Had to leave 1 hour after check in due to horrible dampness, musty, moldy smell. Caused breathing issues even after opening windows and adjusting air to circulate 8n the room
- Randy (3/5): - There was no breakfast
- mcneely (1/5): - People begging for money in room beside me Bums
- Joshua (10/5): Definitely would stay again - The room was clean! Staff was very friendly only had one interaction with them at check in and was great! Location was very close about 8-10 minutes from summit motorsports park and 10-25 minutes from all the local restaurants. Comfort was good!
- Jean (5/5): The only reasonabley priced motel on a weekend summer night. - I decided 2 nights prior to book a motel near Cleveland for a summer Friday night. Checked several sites and ordinary motels were either full or where charging outrageous rates of $800-1000! Yikes! This was the only motel that was charging their usual rate so I booked it. It was out dated and in the middle of nowhere, but Ok for one night.
- Edward (7/5): Good place if you just need a bed and shower. - Convenient location to Summit motorsports park. Beds were a little hard and there was a musty smell.
- Daniel (1/5): - It was in convenient location. The day we got there everything seemed okay, the room wasn’t the bed, but was manageable. The next morning we woke up and went out for the day, when we returned that evening we arrived back to the room to the find wood roaches crawling on the bed. The staff handled the situation to the best of their ability.
- Kenneth (10/5): - Nice hotel for the money for a last minute booking
- Denny (7/5): -
- Redbird (3/5): I will not stay there again - It was quite. The bed was hard as a rock and the headboard was broken. The side table was mounted on the wall crooked and leaning. Had To get ice from office and he poured it from a bag and spilt it and picked it up with his hands and put it in my bucket. No coffee
- Verified traveler (2/5): Sweet owners but.... - The owners were so nice but we left because there were bugs in the room when we turned the lights off. We switched hotels. I think it's because of the age of the hotel. No bed bugs but other kinds.
- Blake (4/5): - Dirty place that was very musty smelling when walking in. Smelled like carpet got wet then wasn’t dealt with. Shower was dirty and tub did not drain. A lot of bugs in room that would disappear under baseboards
- Carrie (8/5): -
- Gary (9/5): Better than expected ,A/C was great. - Everything was clean ,the beds were comfy. It was very warm and humid outside but the A/C was one of the best working ones I have encountered and a hotel, it was excellent . Two light bulbs were burned out and could use replacement.
- Fetchit (5/5): not worth the money for sure..... fridge was covered in rust. - could not get internet went to front desk after trying to call several tim,es and no answer. clerk was not interested in helping at all. kinda rude
- Snore (2/5): Very poor - No toilet paper no cups for coffee
- Cheyenne (10/5): It was pleasant they set up right then and there because we booked online and they didn’t know we booked right before sh - I could park outside of my door for easy move in and out It’s behind the BK parking lot, which is awesome for the morning but hard to find in the dark so I hope this comment helps
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Rodney (8/5): Clean and comfortable. - We opted for the room with the king bed which was comfortable and enabled a good night's rest. It was in a quiet location and was easy to find.
- Verified traveler (10/5): nice hotel would absolutely recommend - For the price it was a great hotel. Clean room and quite area. Room is older but again for the price you can't beat it.
- Lawrence (8/5): Up from KY. For a very good friend's funeral! To short of stay! - Office fokes who checked me in were very professionl and helpful. Buying (pop or soda) in office was very convenient. Very handy good
location in Norwalk. Plenty of parking. Tks. Please repair the TV remote. Needs batteries or to be replaced. Fix bed table lamp next to bathroom. Tks.
- Crystal (5/5): Passable - The bathroom was not clean, and there was an odor
- Reece (2/5): Sorry but truth - I liked the staff Alot I don't like roaches in the bathroom and and a dirty vibe it was strange and the AC didn't work in my room
- Denny (6/5): Would stay again just hopefully its clean - Location Bathroom wasn’t clean
- Paul (2/5): Stayed in the same exact room last year, room was in worse condition. Will not stay here again. - The owners friendly, location was key for my stay. Anti-slip mat in bathtub was lifting, somebody used silicone sealer to try to re-adhesive it down in the past. This is not the right stuff to use and the silicone was floating around in the bath water. I would not take a bath to treat my aching back pains. The sink had a bunch of liquid soap poored on it before I got there but they never cleaned the sink, I had to do it with a wash cloth. The toilet was never cleaned and dried poop was on the back of the seat and porcelin, again I cleaned it with a wash cloth. The head board was busted, the legless night stand was mounted crooked onto wall, cell phone kept falling off of it. They had frig and microwave plugged into a power strip which after the first night of a 3 night stay shorted out and thru the breaker, twice on the last 2 nights. The power strip had a short in it. They didn't make the bed every morning.
- Robert (5/5): A place to get a shower and cleaned up and a nice rest. Tried to get my money back for the last day because of the cockr - Location Bugs cockroaches
- Milagros (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): - My view was the truck parking lot
- Richard (5/5): Passable - No cleaning never brought towels to take a shower had to go twice to get new towels
- The (5/5): Passable - The bed was relatively comfortable and the refrigerator kept things very cold. It had a broken nightstand, it looked like it could fall off the wall at any moment. The headboard was missing all off the trim and was very splintery. The shower mat was very disgusting. Lamps without shades.
- Albert (8/5): Very good -
- Desaray (1/5): Bad - Nothing Bed bugs
- Paul (8/5): Very good - I like it for it’s vicinity to the race track It was fine
- Geoff (2/5): - Terrible hotel, couldn't check in at proper time due to allowing other guest to check out late. Then when checking in at the time was told to come back still couldn't check in because the room still wasn't vacated and cleaned while waiting in the parking lot for the staff to get the occupant out of the room, the manager was doing a really fast clean up for us to finally have the room, I demanded a refund recieved it and checked in to a clean properly ran hotel. Third world country ran hotel!!!!
- Cammie (6/5): - .
- Carl (5/5): Passable - Close to Summit Motor Sports Park Room needed many repairs, rate was over double normal rate because of event that weekend.
- Edward (5/5): Passable - Easy check in. Rooms reasonably clean. Toilet functioned as it should. Water was a little slow going down the drain but at least it didn't rise to ankle depth when showering. Advertising said there would be a microwave oven and there wasn't. TV worked but never functioned quite right. The refrigerator wasn't sufficient to keep a pre-frozen bottle of water (ice) from melting. Seems the price has risen to the point that, for this level of quality room, it is no longer a reasonable value. I'm willing to "settle for" but not at this price. It also seems to be price gouging due to special events in the area.
- Jase (6/5): - Lots of stuff wasnt clean, and somethings were damaged
- Anthony (3/5): Bad - No breakfast Staff
- Richard (8/5): Very good - No meals
- Mike (5/5): Fine - Fine Location
- Karen (2/5): Roaches in bathroom. Very unclean. - We overpaid b/c they hike the price during race weekend and we had gone to the NHRA race. We pd $250 for one night at this dump! From the outside pics, it looked fine. It smelled, was old, dark stains on carpet, rust came out of water when I turned on shower. The window was half open when we went in and the TV was on loud like someone was in there and left. Not sure what that was about. At 3:30am, woke up to go into bathroom and there was 2 roaches. We packed up right then and drove home 3 hrs away. I'll sleep in our truck next time.
- Activate (1/5): Awful experience at a terrible price. - Nothing really Room was not clean, spots of blood and crayon could be seen on the sheets. Beds were uncomfortable. Cable tv and phone didn’t work at all. Definitely not worth the price!!
- Ginna (6/5): - The hotel has got some age to it and it shows. Our TV quit working about an hour after we settled in. Beds were comfortable.
- Dana (10/5): - It was very easy to get to. The owners were very nice and friendly. They answered all my questions about where to get something to eat. They were also nice enough to let us know about the strawberry festival that was going on the same weekend that we were there. They told us about the restaurant that were only about 10 minutes away from the hotel. We had a great time and will probably be back next year. Thank you for having us.
- Samantha (2/5): Very poor - I asked for more towels, the wife instead bring her the old ones first. I feel as we shouldn't have too
- Wurzbacher (7/5): Good -
- Werner (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sierra (10/5): - I stayed here as I was on a travel assignment for work(Registered Nurse). Great customer service. A lot of food options close by. I worked night shift and was able to get plenty of rest throughout the day time, no loud noises even with it being off a major road. Definitely recommend!
- Zachary (9/5): A perfect place to stay for a night if you're passing through, or watching astronomical events. - My friends liked that it was cheap, and in a nice quant little town. We also appreciated the 24/7 check-in service as we arrived considerably later than expected. The room was nice and spacious for 4 people. Apon entering, the room smelled a little like smoke, but that was easily resolved by turning on the fans. The only real gimmick is that my friends were not a big fan the bedding; there's no comforter, and the thickest blanket layer had holes in it.
- Diego (1/5): Regret. - Silent for a while BED BUGS, broken bed, the heater went off and on with the hot and cold air, bed sheets burnt and ripped, bed frame all broken in half, very very old has a musty smell.
- Payton (1/5): Horrible. I will never stay there again. We got there, got put into the FIRST room, there was BLACK MOLD UNDER the batht - Nothing it was bad. Everything it was horrible.
- Brian (2/5): Unwelcoming atmosphere, would not stay again. - Bed wasn't bad
Water was hot
3 chairs I guess is a plus?
The heater works... The remote is for the cable only, not the TV (not universal) and it was sticky as was the bed table. Had to wipe them off, and then had to personally mess with the buttons on the side of the tv to get it to the right setting to even use the cable box as it was not set up to be on HDMI. To turn the TV on and off, and volume, you have to do them on the side of the tv.
Just felt run down with all but 1 bulbs being out over the sink
Looks torn up due to paint/wall issues.
The shower line has a leak on it, causing water to spray everywhere
There was no toilet paper???????????!!!
Rusty Microwave
Comforter had lighter/cig burn holes in various spots
The Pillow covers were stained and covered in something like lipstick or marker, something for each one.
The entrance to this place is a buzzer/lockdown style entrance as if it were a cash-pay store with a Ring Doorbell on the front with no sign even pointing to it. Pushing got me a "Ya?" which I had to explain why I was even there. This is probably the most unprofessional and unwelcoming thing I've ever experienced when it comes to a hotel.
- Daniel (10/5): - It's a very quant little place, directly behind Burger King. The beds are hard but the convenience of the surrounding area made the sacrifice worth it for one night. Would stay here again.
- Jeff (7/5): Good - Price, convenience, quiet Floor could use a vacuum
- Anna (7/5): Room was adequate for everything I needed ,bed was nice bathroom and refrigerator and microwave in the room were very ni - Easy to access, ample parking Outlet locations for charging electronics
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, very close to everything in Norwalk. Room was very clean, staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Will be staying here again while I complete my clinical hours.
- P (5/5): Passable -
- Michael (8/5): Nice local stay - Good location
- Samuel (8/5): Solo mission - It was definitely all good, the owner was super nice! And he helped me out right away when I needed help !
Only thing I woulda changed would be the lights in the room. They gotta update that ! Yellow light isn’t the most inviting! But the bed was comfy !
- Brenda (2/5): - Did not have our reservation. Also did not have any rooms available.
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Lsprenkle (10/5): Exceptional - Everything this was our second time here Nothing
- Paul (5/5): Passable - Instant hot water in the shower and plenty of soap and shampoo/conditioner. Location of hotel to Summit Motorsports Park. Television was good. Headboard broken, bed sheets had stains and bedside table was crooked. No clock in the room nor was one brought to room or givien to me when brought up to management.
- Dan (10/5): - Stayed here while racing at SMP. Suited our need perfectly
- Ken (8/5): Great place to stay if Racing at Summit motorsport - Room was very clean, and amity’s were very good. It’s an older place, but nice. We were visiting summit motorsports Park racing over the weekend so we basically got there every night between 9 and 10 PM and left by 7 AM each day. Had no issues. Clean bed and a hot shower.
- Jim (6/5): Pleasant -
- randy (6/5): - It was very noisy. Room was not serviced or no clean towels given. No breakfast is provided even though their description on line says it is.
- Shelley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adam (7/5): Good -
- Yvette (7/5): Overall the value was great. Rooms are a bit outdated but they are clean and I felt safe. The staff was very kind. - Quiet location, clean, friendly staff Nobody came to refresh towels or washcloths and when I went to the office to request fresh ones they wanted me to bring them the dirty ones to the office
- Christine (4/5): - The hotel was very dirty some of the rooms didn't have soap in them. There's old tvs in one of the closest.
- Dave (10/5): - Close proximity to Summit Motorsports Park, easy to locate but parking was not visible from the main road. Friendly staff and comfortable, clean room.
- Thomas (8/5): Very good - The bed was very comfortable.
- Tami (9/5): I will stay again. Avoided all main highways to event! 💪 - Was a very cute motel No breakfast
- Jeffrey (8/5): Very good -
- Susan (9/5): Great value. Would visit again! - The room was pleasant, above what I expected for the price. The room had a fridge and a microwave, which many do not have any more. The bed was clean, had nice soap, shampoo, conditioner stocked. Internet too! Traditional key, but deadlock and catch lock made me feel more secure.
- Nagaraju (1/5): Bad -
- Randy (10/5): Felt welcomed and special’ - It was easy access. And the owner was the best!!! We were traveling from Oregon, celebrating our 50th anniversary! He was so excited, he knocked on our door and brought a small chocolate cake with Happy 50th Anniversary!
These are the people you want to meet on the byways of life!
Thank you!!’
- Emily (5/5): Passable - The location was conveniently close to my friend's wedding venue, which I appreciated. The sheets and bathroom were clean and tidy. The carpet felt dirty under my feet. The room smelled strongly of smoke, likely because there are smoking rooms in the facility. The smell was so strong that my clothing smelled of it after I got home. Additionally, the deadbolt on the door was not able to be locked by the room key which only worked for the handle. There were three additional locks which could be used from the inside, but nothing to secure it more when I was not in the room.
- Bryan (7/5): Good - Quiet and clean Needs to be upgraded
- Gordon (10/5): Stop in! - Great stay at an immaculate hotel
- Mike (9/5): nice place, quiet -
- Pat (2/5): You get what you pay for!!! - The exterior seemed clean. It was quiet during the night. Our room was upstairs. As soon as you opened the door to the stairs, you were greeted with filthy carpet and stairs. Our room had dust that you could write in on the tv stand, sticky rings from a can on the nightstand, filthy carpet and chair, and hair in the bathtub. The sheets were clean, although the bed was super firm.
- John (10/5): - Older property but kept up. Friendly staff. Fair price. Close to Summit Motorsports Park. Will stay again.
- Jeff (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Teresa (5/5): Passable - Location and price No microwave no fridge
- Daniel (7/5): Adequate - N/A no breakfast and no coffee in the room Dusty but quiet there was a coffee maker but no pods
- Woodrow (7/5): Good -
- Shannon (9/5): Superb -
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Ryan (8/5): Very good -
- Cynthia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (4/5): Disappointing -
- Crystal (7/5): Good -
- Peter (3/5): Poor - Close to the race track Not very clean. Stayed for two nights , and they didn't clean , didn't make the bed . All they did was exchange the towels I'll never stay there again
- Monaco (4/5): Disappointing -
- Kristen (4/5): All around ew - Front desk gentleman was nice enough. But, the room itself reeked of cigarette smoke, as well as there was ash on the table, and burns on the sheets. There was hand and finger prints all over the walls, and what appeared to be face prints on the mirror. We knew it wasn’t the Hilton, but this was not at all what we expected.
