• Snow (7/5): Not bad - Conveniently local to other locations and activities in the atea. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Only cold cereal and bagels. Across the road and to the left is an Excellent restaurant for breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Had to get out wet and dig out my personal backups and use the little bar soap that was provided. Breakfast was a bit bleak but had coffee, juice, cereals, toast and bagels.

The attendants who were in charge of the continental breakfast were extremely attentive and kept the area clean at all times. The rooms are clean and comfortable and a very good value with many walkable foods. Additionally, easily accessible to the Redwoods. Would definitely stay here again. The pillows are not great. Definitely ask the front desk for additional.

Of the two rooms one was clean, but the other one had hair in the sink and the t me tub. Also, one of the room’s shower had a problem because the water would not go down sufficiently so you were in water up to your ankles.

It made my day to see Angela again and catch up a bit. We were greeted with such warmth and friendliness. It is great to see the place keeps it's fun classy charm. • Michael (10/5): Great visit to a super and interesting area on the Nor Cal Redwoods coast. - The room was big, comfortable and well-designed. Easy parking. Great value. Great location, and proximity to ocean beaches, rivers and redwoods (assuming you are a tourist and have a car). The immediate address is directly on busy route 101, and directly across the street from a cool working harbor. But there was no street noise in the room. The breakfast consists of fruit, bagels, toast, muffins, cereal, juice and drinks. Very light, but nice and free.

The room location for our needs (downstairs close to the exit) was perfect for our late reservation. No Shower curtain. No door stop lock on door (only lock was key card).

Before they use to freeze rings of the juice and milk to keep them cold and now they use different dispenser machines, which didn't keep the milk as cold. Other than that it was pleasant as always. Just the milk dispenser not using the cold ring of iced milk.

The attention to detail to everything from the whale / marine animal decor to the thoughtful cheese plate offered at check-in was impeccable. Also, as a fellow baker, the breakfast items were delicious, fresh, and unique. Payment at the end of the stay is kind of awkward. I'd preferred to have my credit card automatically charged but not a big deal.

After cleaning it still contained items from the prior user. There was no soap at the sink. Curtains were ripped. View was parking lot. The whole building smelled badly. It was expansive for a very subpar experience.

It could have included cook-you-own waffle or other hot food. This facility is old, the chairs in my room were threadbare, the privacy curtains on the windows were ripped, there was no workout room.
