Alex (3/5): 附近是新区所以很多商店可以去找吃 - 环境附近不错很多店，有吃的和杂货店清洁很很多灰尘尤其是电灯台座和冷气。如果住301号开始就要爬楼梯所以不建议住多天。电视只有一个台可以看而且电视机还是有问题的。
Mohamad (10/5): all is good for solo traveller, room was quite soundproof, my room was facing the next building with window. - the room concept, the prices on booking are good. its quite a step to go up for me, and its not wheelchair friendly since there is no lift. the bathroom have strong odor from the drainage.

Ain (8/5): I will recommend this hotel to others who want a good hotel but are still on a budget - I requested a simple anniversary decoration, but the outcome was surprisingly beautiful, and we both love it. The room is clean and the staff is very helpful. I felt a bit strange because the room provided tea, but there was no heater to boil water, so I had to ask the hotel staff for one. The TV also wasn’t working properly

Anne (4/5): Very disappointed. - The friendly staff and location and car park availability The room was terrible - Small and things were broken. There is wire running across the room to work the tv because the plug is broken and an alarm that keeps ringing non stop which no one bother to turn it off. The toilet was wet including the table floor everywhere as if someone turn on the hose all around and not bothered to wipe it up. The soap holder was broken so you have to open the shower screen to get your soap. The water flows up to your ankle when showering. Ask to change but was told fully booked! Stayed here previously and really liked the place but now so sad!!

Joey (6/5): - The property has a unique theme and interior design focusing on Kapitan history. It's location is fairly out of the way from the historical portion of Melaka city, and would require a car ride to reach. Parking may be limited as the property is located in a shoplot. Outside of the hotel are a few restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores, all within walking distance. Both check in and out were fine, the receptionists were courteous and friendly. There was no lift access to the upstairs rooms, the only access is via a pair of narrow stairways. The rooms left a lot to be desired. While the overall cleanliness was acceptable, some parts of the room did not look clean, suggesting that the housekeeping needs improvement. In one of the rooms, the carpet felt like it needed a good vacuuming, while in another, the tissue box was not refilled. Sheets and pillowcases were fortunately spotless, and the beds comfortable. The available appliances were basic, with a mini fridge, kettle, telephone, tv, and cups provided, although the kettles were rather old, and should be replaced. The disproportionately huge bathroom was for the most part clean, but the toilet units were old, stained, and yellowing. The water heater for some reason also heats up the bathroom sink. The toilet paper rolls were placed too far away from the toilet which is an inconvenience. Basic toiletries were provided, including soap, toothbrushes, room slippers.

Pooi (10/5): Exceptional - A bit out of town but beautifully furnished with lovely antiques. We are satisfied with our 3 nights stay. All the staff are friendly and helpful especially Rini.👍 Whatever we requested...hairdryer, more hangers and others, were sent to our room in within minutes. Our room was made up and cleaned daily. Thank you very much for the pleasant service, will come back again☺️ The only unpleasant thing is the connecting restaurant in the hotel which opens from 6.00pm-9.00pm. It will be quite noisy when it is packed with most of the guests moving around taking pictures of the beautiful antiques. But thankfully after 9.00pm all will be quiet again 🙏

We hoped that the room can be better improved before passing us the keys to the room. The shower sliding door was falling apart, the toilet flush took so long to fill up, there was a tissue box without tissues provided, the cabinet door where the mini fridge was stored was faulty, the mini fridge was not cold. Yes, for a cheap we shouldn’t expect too much but we do expect that the basic necessities to be of a good standard.
