- Eugene (7/5): I can definitely recommend Oakwood Lodge whether a stopover or longer. - The lodge is situated in a good quiet area, had access to many restaurants most in walking distance. The room is equipped with a TV, air conditioner, small bar fridge and kettle, tea coffee sachets which was very handy on arrival and early morning coffee. Breakfast was available on request but had an early departure. The free onsite parking a great + as we did not have to unpack, very secure regarding the security at the lodge. The receptionist/s on duty were very polite and informative. Cleanliness, very good. Area for improvement, the TV to be repositioned from the top of the cupboard!!! Maybe a small microwave would be very handy, the double bed mattress is very soft on one side feels like one wants to roll off!! the motorized gate entry to the premises needs attention as it was opening/closing without any traffic passing through during the night. this was reported before our departure in the morning.

She consistently checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable and happy, and went above and beyond to cater to our needs. My Family and I are grateful. Nothing. I loved everything about it.

Because of the pillows, and dirty covers won't stay again. - The bed is comfortable The bathroom is alright Ohh..pillows are very dirty The white sheets and towels are brown and very dirty. The room is pleasant BUT had a dirty smell, maybe because of the dirty smelly pillows. Please get pillows and mattress covers and change them with every visit. I got bitten by a bed bug. Please turn the beds, fumigate and get a mattress and pillow protectors. Balcony not ever cleaned.

Bookings.com only booked us one room although there were 4 of us and they added on an extra room before we arrived as they realised there had been a mistake online. Friendly, helpfull and caring receptionist. Checking in on me. I will like a bottle of drinking water in the fridge and a plate, fork and knive.
