• Thera (10/5): Garden oasis in Pretoria - A beautiful, peaceful location in a lovely garden, close enough to everything. The owner and staff went above and beyond to help. It was wonderful to have a (small) full kitchen – and there's an organic foods shop a short walk away! Everything was pretty great. I could maybe have lived without the rooster! :D

• Carolien (10/5): Excellent location, welcoming host and staff and lovely facilities - We had an excellent stay at Petal Faire Cottage. Leoné went out of her way to accommodate our request for 3 rooms in close proximity to each other. Coffee, tea and rusks to welcome us as well as fully equipped kitchens to facilitate self-service are available. All the staff are friendly and helpful and there is the beautiful garden to relax. The location is excellent for the University, Gautrain station, and several retirement facilities in the area as well as easy access to the highway and a host of brilliant eateries close by. Highly recommend this clean, well organised gem and the friendly welcome.

This Guest House far exceeds expectations, particularly given the cost, and poses a challenge to more expensive BnBs and Guest Houses. Joyce, Susan and Leonie are welcoming and engaging. The accommodation was superb. There was nothing that I could fault. Thank you for a wonderful stay and your hospitality.

• Matthewkoen (10/5): Excellent value - The location is perfect, given that it's situated so close to Pretoria central. It truly was a little slice of heaven in the middle of the crazy city. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, so too was the host. The apartment itself was very clean, and the facilities were actually really impressive given the very fair price, or shall I say "Faire" price! For anyone just trying to find a nice overnight spot in the bustling city, or even if you're staying in Pretoria for business, you cannot go wrong with Petal Faire! P.S the hosts pets are absolutely adorable!

• Nadaz (10/5): Perfect for what I needed & definately coming back again. - The location was perfect as I had business at nearby embassies. The area is safe & it is easy to get around. The Gautrain from the airport arrives just a 10-minute walk from the property. All you need is just a walk away & it is next to a park if you like to get in touch with nature or read in a peaceful setting. I would definitely recommend this place for someone looking to get away from the hustle & bustle of the big city Cant really think of anything. It was peaceful & I had all the privacy I would need.

• Peter (9/5): We hope to return. - The location for us was excellent, the accommodation was clean throughout. The fact it was situated in a garden came as a surprise with the attendant bird life! The basics in the form of coffee, milk, sugar & rusks was also very welcome. The globes in the kitchen area needed to be replaced, probably yet another Eskom victim. Everything else was fine.

• Andre (9/5): Going back tomorrow! - The cottage was well appointed and had everything that I needed. It was really clean. The host was kind and caring and even left some amazing rusks. Petal Faire is close to a rather busy road. You hear the traffic at peak times but it was quiet during the night and I enjoyed good sleeps. The garden setting and private entrance to each cottage makes it even more attractive. A bit tricky to get out of the parking initially - but easy to sort out.
