Our room was clean and had a super shower! Rusks in the room plus a choice of Bodum coffee or normal coffee was a nice surprise. Breakfast was lovely with options to cater for all preferences. .Would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone going to George. Nothing

- UDO (9/5): Für Leute, die eine abendliche Unterkunft und keinen Poolurlaub suchen, bedenkenlos zu empfehlen. - Praktisch alles. Zentrale und sichere Lage. Fußläufig zum sehr empfehlenswerten "Hussar Grill". Wenige Minuten zum Flughafen. Tankstelle fast vor der Tür. Genug Stellplätze für Pkw auf dem gesicherten Grundstück. Alles ebenerdig. Sehr ruhig. Eigentümerin spricht hervorragend Deutsch, ist mega nett und aufmerksam. Hat das Objekt vor wenigen Monaten übernommen. Hinsichtlich des Preis-/Leistungsverhältnisses top. Fazit: Wirklich bedenkenlos buchbar. Eines noch unabhängig von der Unterkunft: Wir sind diesmal nach George geflogen, bisher nach Kapstadt. Wenn die Garden Route besucht oder auch zusammen mit dem Bereich Kapstadt besucht werden soll, auf jeden Fall nach George fliegen. Kleiner Flughafen, praktisch "auf dem Land", in wenigen Minuten Koffer und Leihwagen vorhanden, kein "Angstraum" drumherum und ein viel entspannteres Gewöhnen an den Linksverkehr. Kein Pool. Terrasse gut zu nutzen, jedoch keine Aussicht. Hat uns jedoch nicht gestört. Dadurch keine langen Wege ins Zimmer Diese Unterkunft ist jedoch nicht mit einem klassischen Pauschalurlaubhotel zu verwechseln. Nochmals: Für uns, nach dem Frühstück mit dem Auto bis abends unterwegs, ideal.

Wi-fi was poor, but was in the process of being upgraded. TV was disappointing with only Netflix and Disney+ but no news channels.

Smart TV is a nice bonus. Nice, large shower. No mountain view (or view at all). Extremely strong mildew and bleach smell was present in room - leaving all windows and doors open did not help much. This made my asthma flare up a few times throughout the night.

We thoroughly appreciated the hosts lenience towards us using the braai room as a meeting room for the morning before our departure. Dean goes the extra mile to communicate and cater for the group. Whilst this is mostly useful, it can maybe be toned down a bit depending on the group.
