The location is out of the way, but it has a very nice view, and it is quiet. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and their border collie, Molly, gave us a wonderful show bringing in the sheep for the evening (they have a working hobby farm).

The breakfast truly was outstanding, the location lovely and quiet but not too far from the main road. Highly recommend, as good as a 4 four star hotel at a fraction of the price. Excellent!

Noeleen is a wonderful host and gave us wonderful suggestions where to visit and hike in Yeats Country and beyond! Our accommodation was clean and comfortable, and our daily breakfast was complete with farm fresh eggs, pancakes, porridge and pastries. We so enjoyed being part of a working farm, and the views of Lough Arrow were nothing short of stunning, especially at sunset. Thank you again, Noeleen and Kieran for a lovely time, and we will surely be back again for another visit!

- Christopher (10/5): Most enjoyable very comfortable - Really loved our night, excellent information from host. Fixed a meal up as no close by venues plus after driving in the rain most of the day we didn't want to go out that night. Room spacious well supplied.
Excellent breakfast
Easy to find using sat nav
Lovely to see the lambs playing in the paddock next door
- Allen (10/5): - Friendly owners, clean room
- Gemma (10/5): - Our host was very friendly and made a beautiful breakfast for us. A beautiful view over the loch Arrow. We would stay again, thank you for your hospitality!
- Christopher (10/5): Stunning, Superb and truly Special - I had a truly fantastic stay at Hillcrest B&B. Check-in and check-out were very easy and Noeleen was not only communicative but very helpful. The room, bed and facilities were extremely comfortable. I also enjoyed a very tasty and filling breakfast. I only saw the view from the room and dining room for a brief moment as I arrived after dark and there was a thick fog in the early morning. However as the fog lifted, the breathtaking view gradually revealed itself. Coupled with how well they keep the grounds and how picturesque their organic farm is, this is possibly one of the best B&Bs in Ireland.
- Richard (10/5): - The property is remote, but has beautiful scenery. The staff is exceptional as well.
- Mary O'Regan (10/5): - Noreen is an excellent host. A warm welcome with refreshments awaited us after our long journey . A very comfortable B & B situated on a working farm overlooking a lake with beautiful views. We enjoyed safe walkways to breathe in the healthy fresh air and view the animals that abounded.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Overnight stay - Host was very friendly and welcoming, lovely views from the property. Enjoyed our stay
- Daniel (10/5): - Very nice B & B .Noreen was delightful to talk to.

- Jack (10/5): - This is a quiet location with beautiful views of the Sligo countryside. The host was very friendly and helpful. This is a really nice country b and b. I highly recommend it.
- vivienne (10/5): - Convenient location for my needs, beautiful area. Very friendly and helpful, slept so well
- Marissa (10/5): Loved it and highly recommend! - Absolutely amazing!! Couldn't have asked for lovelier hosts, and the breakfast was incredible. We did not realize the spot was as rural as it was, but Nolene made the stay--while brief--a very comfortable and hospitable one. The scenery was gorgeous, and the spot just lovely! Cannot recommend Hillcrest B&B enough.
- KAREN (10/5): - Noleen is a great host and Hillcrest is a fabulous home.
We had a very comfortable stay and the breakfast was delicious.
Thank you so much.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful location, lovely room, great breakfast, warm welcome, friendly, helpful hosts.
- Bridget (10/5): - The proprietor was very accommodating.
Noelene was personable. Of course, Molly, the sheepdog should be acknowledged.
- Deborah (10/5): - This is the most beautiful setting. Nature is at it’s most spectacular here with the baaaa’s of sheep, the cows and horses. The interior design of the house could be featured in a magazine. I hate to leave here.
- Matthew (8/5): - That view tho! This place is kind of remote, no walking anywhere, but they don't call it hillcrest for nothing. The hoestess was very friendly, but not pushy or overly chatty. We went to Sligo to see a movie and came back late and no problem. Breakfast was nice.
- Thomas (10/5): - I thought the property was excellent value for money. It was a little remote but the views from the front bedroom made up for that.
- LuAngela (10/5): - Host was kind, generous, gracious. Very friendly! Breakfast was AWESOME! We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
- William (10/5): - This b&b was amazing the owners are so nice we had several great conversations. The breakfast menu has great options for everyone even though we stayed with the full Irish and coffee (it's my favorite). Every part of our stay was amazing and the views are so beautiful. I am glad I booked this b&b again next month.
- Donna (4/5): - Sadly we didn't end up staying in the Hillcrest B&B. We drove there and we were early but no one was home. The B&B looked nice but very far from everything even restaurants for lunch or supper. We decided that it wasn't the place for us so we continued on our journey. Donna Norton.
