• Basani (10/5): Beautiful view - The property was clean and tidy. The view was magnificent. Appreciate Lindiwe for going the extra mile to ensure our stay was comfortable.
• helen (10/5): excellent place, great service. - We travelled to attend a funeral, but had lots to do on arrival in Durban. I let Fred know that we would be late. He was on top of things, calling to make sure I would not have any issues when we check in - which was after 21h30. Excellent communication, and we had no issues with our very late check in. The breakfast was top tier, the bed super comfortable, perfect location and a beautiful set up. We ill definitely go back there.

The owner & manager are absolute wonderful warm hosts, also gave us some great suggestions on dog friendly beaches in the area! The staff especially Mama Vuma, goes over-and-above to ensure we are comfortable and well taken care off. More than highly recommended, home away from home!!! N/A

• david (9/5): We loved the ocean views and the room was amazing, plus a wonderful breakfast! - Incredible views, great location, very clean and spacious - we loved spending time staring out over the ocean - and the breakfast was great too! Quite a lot of noise from other guests - early and late - plus maintenance being done on and around our room from very early on a Saturday was frustrating, but at least it was being done so probably won't complain....
• Paul (9/5): Perfect Place for a few days near the sea - Although we accidentally chose the wrong room, the manager was quick to assist us with a free upgrade. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Although it's quite a walk to the sea, there are plenty of facilities when you get there (although for some reason - probably because of the winter waves - I was not allowed to swim. The views from the room and balcony were amazing and there is a viewing platform. There is an excellent restaurant next door (you walk via the property) and the breakfast at the guest house was great. Generally, I would highly recommend this guest house to other travellers The Booking.com system did not accurately reflect the rooms available and you should rather find the property's web site to get the room you want.

• Ivan (9/5): - Everything was wonderful. But the best of all - view of the ocean and its roar in the night. Fantastic. Basic breakfast. Can not say anything bad about it, just basic. Too hot in the kitchen where you eat.

The room we booked seemed very small and no sea view, we were moved to another room but the bed was very uncomfortable but we didnt complain. The sea is quite far so you will need a car to get around. Next door there was a restaurant which we didnt no about until the last day so we had a cocktail and 2 gins there. But the next day i was sick as a dog started puking and had gastro for 3 days.

• Zoe (8/5): - The breakfast was exceptional. The facilities were exquisite. It was worth the money. We had a beachfront unit. The unit was very spacious. There was a bar fridge and I appreciated the fresh milk and ice in the fridge. There's a smart TV and WiFi. It was my first vacation with just me and my two kids,we spent Christmas there as well. No regrets. Not all the staff members are nice. One of them has that "walk on eggshells around me" kinda vibe,in the way she speaks and responds to guests and it's very bad for business. They only have 1 iron. A microwave in the room would've been a huge convenience and a hairdryer. We went to the beach a couple of times and could've used one.

• Wright (8/5): Comfortable, scenic but noisy. - Incredible view! Simple but tasty breakfast. A very large family moved into the room next door. Not sure if the room is meant for 4 kids and 2 adults. Their noise started around 5 am and there is no soundproofing so it really disturbed my family. We have two daughters so we were in two rooms, one for my husband and I and the other for my girls. We could all hear the children. It was very frustrating so early in the morning

No privacy, other guest look straight into your room when using the stairs. Lady working at the front desk probably had a bad day but is not very welcoming at all! Other staff were very friendly. Check in times can be earlier, check out times can be later. Listing said there would be a bath, there was no bath.

Einziger Nachteil, wenn andere Reisende nicht innerhalb "ihres" Terassenbereiches bleiben, sondern sich vor dem eigenen bewegen, dies stört die Privatsphaere. Ich musste mehrmals meine Vorhaenge schließen, damit ich vor Blicken geschuetzt war. Was sehr schade ist, da die Aussicht auch vom Zimmer traumhaft ist (aber dafuer kann die Unterkunft nichts. Hier kann man nur Gaeste aufmerksam machen, dass man die Privatsphaere andere respektieren sollte....)

The staff is very friendly and they do house keeping daily. I should actually be gate keeping because this place is a gem. I didn't like that I forgot my keys hundreds of KM away.

• Cindy (8/5): It was a good stay - I like that the room is facing the beach, but a schlep that you cant walk literally from the room to the beach front. So wish there was a short way to the beach. 1 towel we got there the first day was dirty.
