- Thomas (4/5): - The entire property needs to be thoroughly cleaned and maintained. Several varieties of crawling bugs in the room. Entry door had a huge gap in the side. Toilet was not firmly attached to the floor. Bathroom door was missing, and staff tried to enter the room a few minutes after we checked in. The bathroom door was replaced, but broken door frame was not fixed. The furnishings were old. Dresser drawers did not properly close. The desk mirror had several stickers on it. I try to use independent hotels when I travel. If I am ever back in Cordele I will not stay here again.

We walked in room & 5 min later went to front desk & told them we would not be staying. We had room booked for 2 nights. Told them they could keep 1 days payment but wanted refund on other night payment & was told that was fine. Next day call HOTELS.COM to see about refund & they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to help us. Pretty much told us that the hotel has cancellation policy. I explained that I didn't cancel my reservation . I showed up & honored my 1/2 of the deal & CAPITAL INN cordele, GA didn't honor their 1/2 by providing a clean, sanitary, operational room suitable to walk in much less sleep in. Hotels.com & Capital inn are nothing but crooks. I could see this coming from hotel but really thought Hotels.com valued customers more. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HOTELS.COM TO ANYONE.

- Mccormick (1/5): WELL, I SURVIVED THIS STAY DESPITE ALL OF THE SHORT COMINGS. - THERE WAS NO CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST, THE LOCATION WAS FINE, THESE PEOPLE PROBABLY DONE MIS-TREATED SO MANY EMPLOYEES UNTIL IT'S PROBABLY HARD TO EMPLOY QUALITY HELP. #1 I DIDN'T GET THE ROOM THAT I PAID FOR, #2 THE ELECTRICITY WAS OFF IN THE ROOM WHEN I CHECK IN, #3 THERE WAS NO INTERNET, OR TV ACCESS IN THE ROOM PERIOD #4 THERE WAS NO CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST.
- Chris (10/5): Keep Up the Good Work! - I preface my comments with the Fact that Hotel/Motel standards are Low - in the 'Budget' Business Traveller realm at least. This Room was carpeted. Access was park in front of, ground floor. Furnishings not found at curbside eviction locations. All lights worked. Under window hvac unit operated quietly and cycled minimally (overnight low: 36F). Bedding clean and very good condition. Bath: Exceptional. High showerhead (I'm 6'3). Hot water. Tv worked appropriately. Hair dryer. Microwave. Fridge. Best Overnight Accommodations I have enjoyed in a while. Reception area and coffee area - tables dirty. Getting nitpicky, not much to complain about!

- Wendy (4/5): - I liked the convenience of the location of the property. Alternatively, the room was not up to even minimum standards. The bathroom was disgusting, it looked like the tub hadn't been cleaned in weeks, the hotel supplied soap, and shampoo packets were dirty, and the walls in the "bedroom" looked like they were under construction. Not only that, my husband and I had to switch rooms due to the first one not being ready, then I had to make a second trip to the office because the new room key didn't work. All in all, it became a hassle to stay rather than a relaxing evening that we were expecting.

- lauralM1703HO (8/5): Late and happy to find this place! - The rooms were clean and nice/comfortable. TV was awesome! Had a tv guide on the desk. Checked in late. Guy was friendly and super helpful. Had a pack and play available for the baby. It was a bit older but still good condition. Prices were excellent. All this was the days following the hurricane Helene and many people nearby were completely full and others had no power. No breakfast - just coffee.

Plenty of hot water Front desk clerk is a moron. When making reservations with booking at this motel their is always a problem at check in. This only happens at this motel. Has to be the incompetent front desk clerk. Check in takes way to long. Almost 20 minutes and that's with paying online. This guy also has complained to me if I leave my key in the room and need another or if I ask for another towel. I would stay here more but I hate thr front desk clerk. Don't know his name because he's that worthless too me. He would better off not ever dealing with customers.

Desk in room was missing drawer pulls. No coffee was offered in am, let alone morning meal. 'We no longer have that.' Our car's rear wiper was stolen overnight in the parking lot. This property is on the verge of failure.

- Cynthia (4/5): - This was an overnite stay. The young woman at the desk did not have any record of our booking through Orbitz and wanted a credit card to pay for thing the stay. I thought I had already paid for the stay through Orbitz (confirmed by looking at my credit card statement online). A man came to the desk and said there was no breakfast (despite pictures of cereal, etc. in the online ad), only coffee from 7-9am. The room was a nice size and it was partially remodeled. There was only 1 washcloth, 1 hand towel and 2 bath towels, not adequate for 2 guests. There was no bathmat towel--I had to put my bath towel on the floor prior to getting out of the shower so I wouldn't slip on the tile floor.The washcloth and one of the bath towels looked as though someone had used them to clean their tire rims with the black stains on them. The sheets were clean, but stained. There were no disposable plastic cups in the room to drink water.There was no coffee pot in the room. The next morning I went into the lobby for coffee. There was none. The small pot (8-10 cup) hadn't been used at all. I told the worker we were promised there would be coffee from 7-9. He stated that the owner said not to make coffee because there weren't enough guests. From the cars in the lot, there were enough guests for several pots of coffee. Worker also related that owner said people don't drink coffee in hot weather. Ricky Patel was listed as the owner. Mr. Patel should not be in the hospitality industry.

The ac unit was leaking water inside the room just leaving a puddle. Place is ok for single night stays but carrying disinfectant spray is advised just in case.

The room had no towels and no trash can's. We had to ask for those things. We also ask for one additional pillow. It became an issue with the manager. He became irritated and disgusted. I will never stay at the capitol inn cordele,ga again!!!!
- Samantha (2/5): NEVER AGAIN - The man working up front that checked me in was friendly but when I went to the office later on the man that was in there was rude and made accusations that I was trying to let people stay in my room and the only people that were staying there was me and my husband. He saw my husbands boss bring him to the room which is also his uncle. He came up for a few minutes made sure we were okay and that we didn't need anything. Last I checked motel room rules you were aloud to have someone stop by for a few minutes as long as you were not loud, disrespecting property or partying and we did not and would not do that. There was a lot of people that I believe were long term guest that were outside talking and drinking. I do not believe he should be accusing you of something he thinks he should check and be sure before being rude making accusations. I paid for the room for two and that' how many stayed in it. They have cameras. I am not someone he will disrespect and me not defend myself. I will never stay there again there's to many people hanging outside drinking and that' what he should check into and the drug deals going on there, Anyone with eyes and a brain knows about what's going on when you see cars coming and going and same person walking out to them or they get a knock on door the person is in and right out. I didn't even feel safe walking outside with the type of people hanging out there. You could look at the way half the women dressed and tell they were prostitutes and the men walking around like thugs. No I would never invite anyone there and will not stay there again. The stairs are full of people as you walk down them people sitting on them and staring at your butt like your for sale or something. I didn't like anything about it. Read above please. I wrote my review in the wrong one. Im sorry but I didn't have time to do this review so I can not retype it.

The rooms or bathroom don’t look anything like they do on the picture. When I ask for new towels and a blanket I was told I had to bring all the old stuff down to them. The owner is very rude.

The person checking us in took longer than I expected due to what seemed to be a lack of knowledge. The head board on the bed was worn from age. The microwave and mini fridge were updated but not new. The bath tub had a soapy film on it and the the bath room floor had someone else's footprint on it. The floor of the room left a gritty feeling on your bare feet. I wasn't expecting a pent house room for the price but it could have been a lot cleaner. Wont stay here again.

The room was dirty it looked like a cat had been setting on one of the chairs. There a burn marks in the bedspread. At 2:30 in the morning to you young man tried to get in my room, not a safe place.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Fair for the price - This place is fair if you’re looking for something cheap and you just want to get off the road for a few hours. It was passable as far as cleanliness. The shower was good. The bed was a little lumpy but not the worst I’ve experienced. I did not experience people partying loud in the area or bugs as some reviews have stated. It did take the guy at the front desk quite a few minutes to find my reservation but it all worked out OK. As another review stated, if you want to get off the road for a few hours it will do but if you are looking to be cozy and comfortable, this is not the place.

- Julie (6/5): The Price is a Clue - Advertised breakfast in lobby: OUT of coffee (two days, no coffee); only food I saw was an open loaf of bread, half a jar of peanut butter, and a nearly empty jar of jelly. Room 132: floor was very dirty, bathtub was blistered and cracked, no tissues just a hole in the counter where they should be. Advertised DAILY housekeeping did NOT happen, I stayed two nights and nobody cleaned my room at all, no fresh towels, nothing. Both employees I interacted with were rude.
- James (6/5): - the guest in other rooms were noisy, train whistles all night. the location was convenient to restaurants and shopping centers. most of the upgrades were done, little things were not
- Lyndsey (6/5): - Firstly, it was very difficult to call and speak with someone at the desk prior to the stay. The attendant hung up on me twice before I finally was able to get them to confirm my room. The room was appropriate for the price. Good for a quick stop overnight. Floor was laminate, which was a huge plus, but it looked like it had not been swept or mopped in ages. Sheets were stained. Mattresses did have mattress covers. Shower was hot and welcomed. There was a TV that worked well. J This is not an LGBTQ friendly location. The desk attendant was appalled that our room would have three adults in it, even though I am traveling with my family and ordered two double beds. He immediately stopped talking to me and would not answer any of my questions. There were several instances where the police were at the location during our one night stay. The attendant does not enforce the regulation on loitering and partying in the parking lot and this made for a lot of noise late into the night.
- Kemachat (4/5): - The inn needed a lot of updates and showed a lot of its age. That wasn't as much of an issue as two other things. The door of the first room I checked into could not lock from the inside. The deadbolt wouldn't engage and had to change rooms. Both rooms smelled as if people had been smoking in the rooms.
- James Garland (4/5): - I am not saying that the stay was not worth the money. It was a $40 hotel room. Expectations were low and they were met, but if you have kids, are elderly or you have a few extra bucks to spend, not your place. No bugs, though. Only offer conditioner...3 of them...no shampoo...strange. Shower floor was uneven and hard to stay upright.
- Alice (10/5): - This is a nice little inexpensive motel. Nice granite tiles in the bathroom and newly-done faux wood floor in the bedroom. Comfortable bed.

- Cynthia (8/5): - We were traveling from Florida, we stopped for the night. I read the reviews and I was not sure but we needed to stop for the night. We booked and showed up. At first I was unsure there were a few signs around, I'm not a fan of you can't do this or that.... with that being said, I later understood. They have workers stay there and they were all in the back of the hotel. Originally they put us back there, but upon request he moved us to a new room. Then the host followed up on checking to make sure we were happy with our new room. It was clean and quiet. We slept well. We would stay again for sure.

- Robert (10/5): Good hotel in Cordele - This was a great deal! A clean comfortable room at a great price in a good location right off the interstate. I will stay here again
- Barb (8/5): - They used a cell phone at check in. Limited food option for breakfast. only served 8a-10a We checked out before that time. Son slept on floor no rollaway option. Old appliances lined part of the property from remodel.

- Canaima91 (2/5): A very unhealthy place to stay - Please,keep away from this disgusting place.This is a place who should be shutdown until they rebuild it.There is roaches in the bedroom and bathroom.The pillows are old and dirty full of yellow brown fluid stains,not one but the four pillows.The smoking smelling at the first room they gave me was horrible and then they gave me the next room with roaches,dirty disgusting pillows and horrible bathroom shower.The door was missing the xtra security lock and next door it was a group of people doing a public party at the parking lot with music and noise at almost 12 am when we decided to leave that horrible and unsanitary place.Please,this is serious.Keep away from this place.
