- Lucas (8/5): Very good - The property was in a fantastic location and it was perfect for my son & me because it had a single pull out couch. The bathroom was beautiful and the main room was also really nice. The only issue is that the blinds do not keep out the glaring light from outside the window. If the owner would put light blocking curtains the place would the best!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The overall condition of this property was a disgrace. False advertising on the description of the property. The sofa bed was broken and tied together with wire. There was 1 fork and 1 glass in the kitchen. 1 light bulb in each fixture. The curtain rod was tied to the wall with wire. The toilet paper holder was broken. The cranks on the windows were broken. The locks on the door missing. No WiFi. Roaches in the cabinets. Pallets, garbage and mattresses were tossed into the parking area. I have never been so disgusted in my years of vacationing in my life. The only saving grace was Stacy from the managing company. I would never recommend anyone staying at the Villages of South Walton. What a disgrace to the entire area of 30a.
- Kevin (2/5): - This is NOT what we thought we were getting! Very disappointed upon arrival with our bags, etc. that we had to haul it all up stairs. The elevator was broken. Entering the room, which was at best "less than average", could use a deep cleaning for sure, and was very dated: ie 1990's decor. Come on....! For this price and location, you can do better.! Then, NO wifi! Really? We call to complain, and they want my husband to "trouble shoot it"! Day 2...we go to the pool (pictured here), and the gate is broken, walk around to the other side! Also, might want to pack your own soap and towels, they give you a trial size piece of soap, and 3 bath towels ! My husband and I both used our towels more than once the whole visit. My suggestion is find the nearest Red Roof Inn, and you will feel like your here at the Village of South Walton .
- Christopher (6/5): Keep looking, this one is no good - The location is pretty good but the room was pretty dirty. The furniture was dingy and outdated. The decor looked like a bunch of old garage sale furniture. Overall, not a great value. I would not stay there again.
