Sandra (10/5): - Stayed in 1902. Beautiful condo! Enjoyed sitting on the balcony every morning while drinking my coffee. Loved getting 2 beach chairs and umbrella as part of the package. Will stay here again!!
Stephens (10/5): - We love everything about the Emerald Isle, from the quiet location to the size of the building and the speed of the elevators! We've been coming here for several years now and have never been disappointed with the cleanliness or the kindness and helpfulness of the staff! We will be back! The taxes and fees are a bit ridiculous...over half the cost is taxes and fees.
Jason (2/5): - The only pro that I can come up with for this "resort" is the proximity to the beach. Once you get off of the elevator on the ground floor, you are close to the sand. The cons, however, are endless. The room smelled horrible upon arrival. We went and purchased air fresheners. The secondary bathroom did not work; there was no water in the sink, and the toilet would not flush. After messaging the owner, we had a plumber in the room once, maintenance in the room twice, and housekeeping once. The washing machine smelled like a sewer. The shower curtains needed to be replaced as they were covered in mildew. Water barely drains in the showers. The staff at the pool are very rudley strict with the wristbands which are hard plastic and cut you. If I were to sneak into a "resort" pool, this is not the pool I would sneak into as it is not nice. The sauna was not operational and closed. The parking garage is tight and difficult.
Brandi (6/5): - Had to walk across the street to get to condo because walkway was being worked on, that wasn’t mentioned when booking. Parking wasn’t great, elevators were small, and crowded but seemed to work ok. Condo had a weird sewer smell while there. I had to go buy blankets because the second bedroom didn’t have quilts on the beds. Condo didn’t provide beach chairs with our rental and the men who set the chairs up was rude they would sit them right up against where you was at. Even if no one was renting them and you had your stuff their first. We vacation at pcb a lot and have stayed many places. I waited last minute and booked here instead of going to our usual areas, I know it’s a lot to prepare these places for guest but for the price you pay for a week I would expect a more comfortable stay.
Ashley (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay. I was impressed with the communication with the property manager. They delivered all of the information we needed with perfect timing. The beach was beautiful and easily accessible, staff were very accommodating and friendly. The parking underneath the building is limited but we were able to find a space ~80% of the time. When the basement lots were full, we parked in the garage across the street. Elevators were dated and very stuffy but we heard that they are being replaced with new ones soon. The room was spacious and we really enjoyed the large balcony. Thanks for the great stay.

Campbell (7/5): we enjoyed our stay and would rent again. - Bed in guest bedroom is supported by some wooden slats, one of which kept falling out because it is not attached to anything. Also the hair dryer in the guest bathroom is not secure in its mount and fell on my wife's head at the slightest touch of it's cord. She was not seriously injured, but it should not be so easily dislodged. we left it laying on the counter for the rest of our stay. only suggestion is we missed our keruig (Ours at home is about to quit, so I went ahead and bought us a new one.)

Pam (8/5): It was good. Emerald Isle has a great hot tub, a wonderfully large balcony, extra-large beach area! - The door had a code. The parking pass and arm bands were provided and awaiting us in the condo. The rocker chairs were extremely small. Normal "wear-and-tear" of mattress and porch chairs made them uncomfortable, but doable for the temporary time-being.

Susan (6/5): We really liked the area and location. We had a great time in spite of the unit being less than expe - The location was great! The view from our balcony to see sunsets was amazing! The unit could have been cleaned better. Pillows uncomfortable. The spare bedroom's bed collapsed. I needed to wash every dish from the cabinets. Could have used hot pads. Leaky faucet in the kitchen. Drippy faucet in the master bath. Had trouble with the garbage disposal. No batteries for the remote in the spare bedroom.

Elizabeth (5/5): I really was disappointed with not enough information up front. - The Balcony. The facilities were nice. I really didn't like not having a deadbolt on the door for when we sleep. Also, on the website it stated check in at 4pm, this led me to believe you needed to check in at office. Of course, office closed at 3pm. It didn't say that the Master bed, you needed a step stool to get in it. Way to high. It stated on the website that you could not smoke in the rooms and balcony, which we have always known but it didn't say that you could not smoke anywhere on the property and didn't have a designated spot for smokers, all the facilities that we have used before have that. Also, we were told that he could not smoke on the beach, if true than you need to post on the beach and website. I also didn't like the chairs on the beach some people like to get a tan on their back but impossible with the chairs they had.

Vanessa (2/5): Our condo was horrible but we enjoyed our time with family and friends as we do every year. - We loved the property location as we have stayed at this property every year for the past 9 years. We have never stayed in CONDO 1108 and we will NEVER stay in this unit again. The place was not at all up to par considering the amount of money we spent. Upon arrival the condo had a bad odor and was extremely warm. After walking through the unit to observe the property we found so many things that need to be repaired / replaced. The AC unit was frozen up and had to be repaired in which Panhandle Getaways handled immediately. The unit needed to have a deep cleaning as the doors where dirty with fingerprints and smudge all over them and the floors not swept good. The dishwasher had a yellow stick substance on the opening that needed to be wiped down. In the guest bedroom the full-size bed had a broken headboard that had been propped up on the wall with pillows organized against it. The bathroom shower broke and could not be used 5 days into the trip as well as both bathrooms had black mold on the ceiling air vents due to moisture. We had several noticeable crack and holes int he walls that had yet to be repaired or had been spackled and never sanded or painted to match. Panhandle Getaways did work diligently the first time to have someone come out and take care of the AC unit and get it back running. They had stated they would have someone come out and reclean the unit, but we never saw anyone during our stay, nor did anyone come and repair the shower upon reporting it. Unfortunately, we spent the next several days with 5 people sharing a bathroom to shower. The AC unit eventually went back out and we had to turn everything off let it unfreeze before using again. I can honestly say that in the past 9 years of staying at this property condo 1108 was the absolute worst unit we have stayed in. You would think when paying $4,802.09 for a condo it would be clean and everything in working condition. I do understand that Panhandle Getaways is the property manager and it's up to the owner to make the repairs, but they are still representing the properties through their business and should make sure they are 110%.
Jeffrey (3/5): Would not reserve this condo again. - Location was great. Very outdated condo with zero appeal. Balcony in very bad condition upon arrival. Not clean and terrible outdoor furniture. There were six in our party and only two chairs on the balcony. Locks broken on balcony door.

I went to the actual property and was told I needed to go somewhere else to show my credit card and photo ID. The lady in the office at the actual property site didn't act knowledgeable about my booking at all. She couldn't even find me in her system. When we actually went to panhandle property management, they were great especially the young man that took my credit card

Verified traveler (6/5): - On Arrival we had to go to several locations to check in. The office to get the parking pass was never open. On Sunday half of the lights in the unit went out along with the water, so no showers and a 5.5 hour ride ahead. The elevator was not working. My husband is disabled and has trouble walking, along with my sister on post back surgery. Noone was around to respond, including the property management company. The unit was very nice except our last day.
Darryl (8/5): - The property was awesome. The pools and hottub were great. Gas grills for your use, which we used two times. Had a few issues with the actual condo we had. We were on the 12th floor, so we had a great view. The balcony is huge. Overall, it was great. We will be going back to the Emerald Isle next year.
Penny (10/5): 2 bedroom condo on the beach - The property is well maintained and clean. Check-in was easy and the staff was helpful. Balcony was fully furnished with a nice table , chairs, and 2 loungers. Would definitely go back!

courtney (8/5): Good hotel - The hotel and the view was really nice. However check in was difficult as they don't keep someone in the office if you need things. They just have security guards working. We didn't get what we rented technically we rented a 2 bedroom condo with queen beds and received one room worth a king and one with small twin beds. View was amazing. Wifi was awful we couldn't get it to stay in for anything.
Verified traveler (10/5): - This condo was really nice. Very clean and neat. The view from the 22nd floor was amazing, all ocean. The only bad thing was that it was under supplied. We have rented condos many times. There is usually tp, dish soap, laundry soap, etc. A lot of which is presumably left from other guests based on the various brands. Whatever we needed we bought and left for the next people. It was really spare this time. Had to restock an entire household. Otherwise, a good experience.
