- JKemi (8/5): Simple and peaceful getaway. Minor improvements required. - The rooms are spacious and clean with the usual hotel comforts. The fireplace in the room was great for the cold nights. The housekeeping and reception staff (Josiah and Chris in particular) were attentive and ever helpful. The elephant view point Some of the F&B staff could be better. Basic omelette was a disappointment. I realised that the egg statiom was being handled by an unsupervised trainee and the soggy broken egg showed it. Some of the waiting staff are also unexperienced and custome interaction could be enhanced. The standard of the spa services could also be improved as it was decent but not close to expectation for a spa associated to such a hotel.

Wide variety for breakfast They were considerate enough to offer a hot water bottle and light up the fire during the evening I found the service charge of $10 to be a bit exorbitant.

The room is great with a nice views and fireplace. The rooms is sizeable with a desk and balcony. The food variety is great for the meals and reasonably priced. The covered heated pool is a good for all seasons. The kids play area is great for young kids. Check in took long more than 30 minutes despite prior booking. The pool area is quite slippery with swimming beds only outside.

The security team was also exceptional i had an issue with my mechanic my car was being repaired in my absence and they quickly stepped in and made sure i was contacted. I am forever greatful we were warmly received and treated very well. Its quiet,super clean,value for money! Nothing i will be going back

The staff were attentive and helpful, especially Kelly and Mary. I liked that we all got a hot water bottle and the fire made the room nice and warm. nothing i can think off. I only wish that it was more affordable. The highest slide was broken and cordoned off so my son wasn't able to use it.

I appreciated the staff's willingness to correct an error made on my room type during check in. I didn't like that fact that I only had two nights and I had to spend one of those nights in the wrong room as the night staff couldn't seem to get my check-in request correct. I spend one night in a lesser room and they moved me the following morning. I would have preferred not to have to move because I had limited time.

- Willis (9/5): Excellent place to stay for families and for a romantic get away. - The breakfast was good, and with a good variety to choose from. We also liked the facilities, such as play areas for our daughter and the bunnies and peacocks in the compound which added to the travel experience. The pork chops were a bit tough, and the heated swimming pool wasn't as warm, but they mentioned it was heated by solar, and the weather had been dull, so that could have been a contributor to that.

- Daniel (9/5): - The privacy on the property was fantastic, and the attention to detail was truly appreciated. The staff was incredibly supportive and made our stay truly enjoyable. Everything was exceptional. They should consider adding a fire stoker next to the room’s fireplace.

The evening fires were a lovely touch during the cold season, and it was nice to be able to be a walking distance from the Thompson Falls. There were lots of good options for excursions as well, and we would love to take the family for a time away. It would have been nice to have some plush rugs especially during the cold season.

Always ready to help. The facilities are modern and well kept. The fire place in the room was a welcome addition on a cold night. Everything was amazing.

- Kingori (9/5): Superb - Staff hospitality and friendliness The fact that there were no dressing gowns or extra blankets in the room. They can be provided if you ask, if you know that you can ask! No one wants to keep calling reception. I had a good stay nevertheless. Heating is provided via open fire which is nice while awake in the evening but you don't want to sleep with a wood fire going. They could consider an alternative in the future when they remodel. The hot water bottle was pleasant but the place can get cold. All said, I will go again and knowing Nyahururu's weather, I'll ask for the gown and blanket at check-in!
