- Armen (8/5): Мы первый раз были на Шри Ланке и по соотношению цена - качество отель хороший и океан чистый. Были в Мерисе и других со - Отель всего на 12 номеров. Конечно это не 5 звезд, но смелые 4 звезды. Нам очень повезло, что кроме нас в отеле больше никого не было. Предполагаю, что если бы отель был занят хотя бы на 50% в нем было бы не комфортно. Отель чистый, новый, бассейн не большой, но так как других гостей не было то нам было очень комфортно. Персонал приветливый, но периодически прилипали так, что хотелось от них сбежать. Делают все, чтобы получить чаевые, но не замечают как становятся назойливыми мухами. Выход к океану очень удачный, сразу из отеля на пляж. Сам район очень бедный, как и везде на Шри Ланке. Выйти некуда, улицы узкие, особо не погуляешь. Завтраки, на троечку, фрукты приносили сначала холодные из холодильника. В номере нет элементарных гигиенических принадлежностей, что для 5 звезд недопустимо. Персонал бывал очень надоедливым.

- Mads Berg (9/5): A unique and secluded experience. Fantastic location and amazing staff. - I would highly recommend this boutique hotel. The location is fantastic in front of a beach which feels secluded. We were often the only ones on the beach within 500 meters. Please be advised that the sea is quite though, but the staff are happy to help you find a safe spot for swimming and the pool is a great option. Rooms are very cosy and has a personal and unique touch i really liked. The vibe is very relaxed and quiet. The staff to guest ratio is very high and the individual service and personal touch is next level. The staff is extremely attentative without being intrusive. All staff members are great, but Kasun was the true star. I have never met a more service minded and pleasant hospitality employee. Breakfast was very good. The selection is limited as it is a ten room hotel, but the produce and dishes had high quality and it was enough to choose from so that it felt varied from day to day. The hotel is quite pricy. As such expectations are very high. There are three things that made me give the hotel 9/10 and not 10/10: - The restaurant is okay, but not great. Service was a bit slow at times. - Shower pressure could have been better. - A/C could have been more effective. All in all minor flaws which are easy to fix. Anyways this was clearly our best experience in Sri Lanka. Travelers should also be advised that this hotel is a boutique hotel and not comparable to resorts in the same price range. There is no gym or spa (but guests may use the gym and spa at the sister hotel Kahanda Kahanda which is a 15 min drive), there is no extravagant breakfast buffet and the rooms are not very modern. In exhange, guests get a quiet and secluded experience and a much better personal service. I would personally choose the KK experience all day every day, but guests with other prioriteres may be better off choosing the resort.

The location was everything we wanted: a beautiful pool and beach a few steps away! Our room was really spacious, clean and comfortable and had a great view of the pool and beach - as do all the rooms. The food was incredible. So wonderful in fact, that we dined at the hotel every evening, as well as enjoying the fantastic breakfast options each morning. Nothing! It was a fantastic place and we will return!

- Kezia (10/5): Oasis of calm and luxury in beautiful Galle province. - The decor is very chic. The rooms are vast and comfortable with great amenities and beautiful bed linens and dressing gowns. The staff are very sweet and attentive, sometimes a little too attentive. The views are stunning. A short Tuk Tuk ride from Galle and other sites. The pool area is great. The food was ok - but very expensive compared to other hotels and restaurants and the quality didn’t reflect the price. We found much better outside the hotel. Same goes for cocktails … the ones we tried were very bland. Not the fault of the hotel but there was a man chain smoking Cuban cigars in the pool all day while we were there. It was very off-putting, and it would be great if there was a. I smoking rule in the swimming pool. Overall the good far outweighs the areas for improvement.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful, especially Kasun who looked after us all day. The design of the rooms and property is beautiful. The only thing I can think of - the hairdryer in the room wasn’t great.

It sits by breathtaking and secluded beaches and offers immaculate, comfortable beds and rooms, with a beautiful view from the room’s balcony. The rooms are 100% clean and the hotel has top-notch breakfast and dining. Every detail, from the relaxing atmosphere, great, large and clean pool to the warm and dedicated staff, created a perfect stay. We could not be more happy with our stay!

Attentive and helpful staff - We booked through booking.com at 7pm by 7.45pm we were walking in the door and were met by the manager and staff to welcome us and help with our luggage. They were expecting us and the welcome was wonderful. Warm, friendly and helpful. A relief after we had had to leave an Airbnb due to security problems Kk was such a relief to arrive at. Nothing.

- Justin (9/5): Kahanda Kanda is absolutely superb in every way. - We were switched at short notice to stay at the sister hotel Kahanda Kanda…this was initially a disappointment as we had planned on being by the beach but Kahanda Kanda is actually a nicer hotel! We visited KK beach for a day…a much more ‘family oriented’ hotel. See above

Rooms are big and comfortable. We rented a moped for the few days we we’re there which was fun to explore the area. It is only about 20 minutes from Galle fort where we spent 2 lovely evenings! We went to KK beach sister hotel Kahanda Kanda for breakfast which was stunning and a lovely outing. Unfortunately when we were there the sea swimming was not great as strong currents and big waves. The restaurant did not have much of an atmosphere and was often very quiet.

My whole point and deception is regarding the value for money. Paying 500€ per night for this level of service is ridiculous and even for Sri Lanka. We were in other hotels nearby with similar service but 1/5 of the price. Room was nice but not incredible to worth 500euros, food was frankly average and really overpriced. The fact that taxes amount for 30% and do not apparat directly in the price is… questionable. They say no extra charge for baby but when you compare rate with and without baby it’s different. Frankly, my mistake I was not cautious in checking the full price with taxes. And also I made a last minute change, from 6 nights to 2 nights and fair went up by almost 150euros per night and I didn’t notice. I’m really a frequent Booking users, been to many places, first time I give a bad rating.

The view from the room was incredible and the hotel is located on a beautiful long quiet beach. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, especially the guys who worked by the pool - constantly making sure we had ice cold water which was really appreciated. All the food we ate was delicious. We went to Galle Fort on evening and it was a quick 20 minute tuktuk away. On our last day they allowed for a late check out! Highly recommend this hotel! Nothing!

- Saira (10/5): Penthouse suite with 3 friends - The Manager of the hotel Menaka made sure our last minute check in online was smoothly executed and kept in touch with me on the phone to ensure everything was right for us and could accommodate 3 people. The room is HUGE and the view is fantastic. We got to use the balcony to relax on the deck chairs too. Beautiful, clean beach on both sides. A nice and peaceful location.

The food in the restaurant was excellent and rooms were wonderful we stayed in Penthouse 2. We ate at at the bugelow in Galle Fort once very buzzy tasty meal and nice location. We both had a massage at the hotel which again was amazing. Will stay at the KK again for sure!

- yanita (10/5): Lovely boutique hotel oceanfront - We had the pleasure of two nights here in the Penthouse 2, the room was huge, batheroom huge and great balcony although it would be perfect if they had an umbrella on the balcony so we could have enjoyed it more but that said, early am was lovely. Staff are all so friendly and accommodating. Food was good and service great, really goo coffee! The pool is really nice. You can walk 1.5km on a great,quiet beach!

- Alison (10/5): Fantastic hotel with direct beach access. - We’ve just spent a week staying at KK Beach and were delighted by it. The hotel is modern, spacious and has staff that are wonderful. The attention to detail is impressive; beach towels rolled up neatly on sun loungers for guests, cold water brought out to you without needing to ask, beautiful plates of fresh fruit for breakfast, turn down service - the list goes on. We stayed in one of the penthouse suites - best hotel room we’ve ever been in - lovely balcony too, with a bathroom bigger than our living room at home! The food in the restaurant was so good we ate there 5 nights out of 7. We’d particularly like to say thank you to Samith, who was incredibly friendly, helpful and even stayed late to ensure we had dinner the night before we left. A truly wonderful place.
