Power shower and a modern bathroom was lovely and very clean. Views from bedrom onn one didevof mountains and at front ofvhouse the sea side. We on first glance felt one night was enough but if that area again we will stay again. Full irish breakfast and coffee in the morning was excellent. All was good for budget price we paid for two forthe room.

Not a "didn't like", just know this is an older home with all the charms of an older Irish home, in a very small town, close to the road with nearby parking (getting luggage from car to room was the least favorite part). Great for a night!

He is a lifetime local and gives excellent directions to all sorts of well-known and less known places in the vicinity. We hope to stay there again.

- Cara (9/5): Great host, comfy authentic, Irish accommodations, and a superb breakfast. - The host John was wonderful. He gave us a very good recommendation for dinner in a town nearby. We really felt the B&B was authentic Irish in some ways.The breakfast was the best we had had in our travels through Ireland staying at B&B‘s. We would definitely come back. Thank you, John! The bed was a little firm for my liking. Maybe some softer towels and a less scented laundry soap. I’m more sensitive to smell so some people wouldn’t notice things like I notice. The room was cozy and clean.

- Monica (10/5): - Our visit to Tully, Renvyle was the Ireland I wanted to experience. The drive through Connemara to get there was unforgettable, and once we arrived we were great with a small village right on the sea. We misread the arrival instructions, so we only gave John a 30-minute warning but he was ready for us when we arrived. Parking was free and just alongside the B&B. We arrived with time to have a beautiful walk to the beach. There is a small shop across the street from the B&B with friendly staff and everything we needed. Our room was so comfortable and cozy and we had an amazing view of the sea. My 76-year-old mom hadn't really slept at all on the trip, until our time at Castlehouse. The beds were comfortable, the sea air was a gift and our room was nice and warm. She had the best sleep she'd had in a long time. The B&B is are renovated home and so charming. The room was clean and had it's own bathroom. There is virtually no noise. Breakfast in the morning was in a beautiful dining room. The food was excellent and they easily accommodated my vegan diet. John and his staff were so friendly. For those visiting Kylmore Abbey, Castlehouse is about a 15 minute drive away. We spent a fabulous day at the Abbey (they have amazing food! ) and then drove to the B&B for the evening.

- Piwi17 (3/5): TROP DECUS PAR RAPPORT AUX PHOTOS SUR LE SITE - Petits déjeuners corrects sans plus. L'extérieur est défraichi, l'intérieur est très vieillot et sombre. La chambre tout particulièrement, ne refléte en rien les photos du descriptif sur le site. La vue soi disant sur les montagnes, nous n'avons vu qu'une toiture terrasse très sale, encombrée par divers objets qui n'avaient rien à faire là, entre autres, balais, tuyaux etc.. des vitres tellement vétustes que l'on voyait à peine au travers, de la moisissure le long des fenêtres, du salpêtre sur les murs avec un enduit gisant sur le sol, des peintures vieillissantes sur les portes et sur l'ensemble des murs de la chambre, une armoire de chambre qui ne tenait pas debout le long du mur, à chaque ouverture de la porte de l'armoire, on se la prend dessus. Côté salle de bain, aucune étagère pour poser ses objets personnels sur le lavabo, pas de support non plus pour poser les serviettes de toilettes, nous avons été obligés de les poser sur l'encadrement de la porte de la salle de bain pour les faire sécher. Les fils qui servent pour allumer et éteindre les lumières sont très sales. Nous avons séjourné deux nuits, le lit n'a pas été refait, les serviettes de toilette pas changées, la poubelle pas vidée et aucun nettoyage de la chambre fait. La qualité du matelas reste à désirer, on a une légère tendance à se retrouver dans le centre du lit, pratique quand on dort à deux... . Des jeunes filles sont là pour le service du petit déjeuner et sans doute également pour le ménage ambiance bizarre !!!.. Je ne partagerai pas de photos mais sachez que j'en ai quelques unes.

L'établissement est très bien situé, à proximité du Parc National du Connemara et de Kylemore Abbey ainsi que du Fjord de Killary. Le contact avec John s'est fait très naturellement et échanger avec lui a été très plaisant lors des petits-déjeuners complets et variés (Irish breakfast, scrambled eggs...). Nous avons adoré. - BHHH (10/5): Nettes B&B - Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hat uns viele gute Tipps gegeben. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und wurde den Wünschen entsprechend angepasst. Zimmer klein aber gemütlich. Betten sehr weich. Typisches irisches B&B würde ich sagen. Gegenüber kleiner Supermarkt, in dem man sich frisch Baguette oder Sandwiches machen lassen kann. -

- Tuxuser (7/5): Ein B&B, das in die Jahre gekommen ist - In der Nähe des Connemara National Parks liegt diese Unterkunft nah genug für Ausflüge zu letzterem. Die Gastgeber und ihr Personal sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Ausstattung ist eher spartanisch. Aber für ein B&B völlig ausreichend. Das Frühstück ist, wie es in den allermeisten B&B's Irlands ist. Es gibt eine Auswahl an Cerealien, frisches Obst und Joghurt. Ansonsten das übliche full irish, was bei Bedarf nach den eigenen Bedürfnissen angepasst werden kann oder eben Porridge. Hervorzuheben ist, dass frischer Filter-Kaffee immer im Frühstücksraum vorrätig ist und bei Bedarf nachgefüllt wird. Die Parkplätze, die an der Seite des Hauses sind, können nicht alle genutzt werden, was sich einem Ankömmling nicht automatisch erschließt. Die Eigentümer des Nachbargrundstücks fühlen sich offenbar dadurch behindert. Außerdem steht nirgendwo in der Beschreibung des B&B, dass sich dieses genau an der Hauptstraße des Ortes befindet, was zumindest tagsüber etwas nervig sein kann. Der Meerblick ist im Grunde genommen eher ein Fernblick aufs Meer.

Il bagno molto piccolo. Per tutta la struttura si sentiva un odore non piacevole. Per colazione c'era discreta possibilità di scelta, ma i prodotti offerti non erano dei migliori.

The owner, John, greeted everyone each morning and was very helpful with suggestions for walks in the area.There was a kettle in the room and tea and coffee provided. - Lydia (10/5): Tolle Lage, super Fruchstuck, kann nur weiterempfehlen - Die Lage ist perfekt, alle Connerama Attraktionen sind in Unkreis von 20km zu erreichen, einige sogar unter 5Km (Diamond hill). Es lag viel Wert auf Sauberkeit, Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt, Handtüche alle 2 Tage ausgetausch und nach 3 Tage wurden sogar Bettwäsche neu bezogen. Frühstuck hat mir und meine Tochter am meistens gefallen, große Auswahl von Warme Mahlzeiten (wie porridge, fried eggs, bacon, baked beans etc) und Müsli. Parken war kostenlos direkt neben den Haus. Besitzer John ist sehr freundlich und vorsorglich. Es hat uns nie etwas gefehlt. Für mich top Unterkunft, wir haben unsere Aufenhalt sehr genossen.

- Gaëlle (8/5): Maison d'hôte cosy proche du Connemara et de Renvyle - Idéalement situé dans la péninsule de Renvyle pour aller faire le Connemara. Accueil très chaleureux de notre hôte, d'une grande gentillesse et à l'écoute. Chambre correcte, un peu vieillotte mais qui a fait le job pour une nuit. Petit déjeuner fait maison, délicieux et très copieux ! L'escalier assez raide pour accéder à la chambre qui n'est pas pratique pour porter les bagages.
