• Alfred (9/5): Ein wirklich toller Urlaub, nettes Personal, kurzer Weg zum Strand und das Wetter hat auch gepasst - Das Personal ist ausserordentlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer wurde jeden Morgen tip top geputzt. Das Frühstück ist lecker und alles ist frisch. Es gibt alles was man braucht. Der Strand ist in wenigen Schritten durch einen Oleanderhain erreichbar. Sandstrand so weit das Auge reicht Der unangenehme und laute Zimmernachbar, aber da kann das Hotel nichts dafür. Wenn wir länger geblieben wären, hätten wir um ein anderes Zimmer gebeten.

• Daniela (9/5): Sehr nette Unterkunft - kann man weiterempfehlen 👍🏻 - Lage ist super - man kann zu Fuß alles erreichen, Meer in ca 5 Minuten und auch in die Stadt sind es nicht mehr als 15 Min zu Fuß. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe und auch Restaurants die leicht zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Frühstück im Hotel ist super und wenn „mehr Betrieb“ ist, gibt es auch Abendessen - beides sehr lecker! Personal ist sehr freundlich - und hilfsbereit bei Tips und Ausflugs-Empfehlungen ! Parkmöglichkeiten sind etwas begrenzt, aber vorhanden. Vor dem Hotel oder daneben (etwas beengt)

• Szandra (9/5): - A szálloda jó helyen van, egy csendesebb részen. A tenger kb 3-400 méter, sétatávolságban van. A személyzet kedves és segítőkész, tisztaság van, wifi és klíma hibátlanul működik, a reggeli bőséges, nagy választék van. A parkolás egyedül ami nem túl jól megoldott, kevés a hely és nagyon szűkek, drukkolni kell h jól tudjon parkolni, aki melléd áll... Az utcán szinte lehetetlen helyet találni. A szoba normális méretű, egy kis hűtő nekünk hiányzott. Éttermek vannak a közelben és boltok is. A medence rész nagyon szép, minden tiszta, rendezett.

• Go33559825560 (10/5): Smeraldo for the third time – and not by chance. - We spent a pleasant week at our favorite hotel, now for the third time. This time we chose a basic room, which fully met our expectations: cleanliness, air conditioning, a large balcony, and a safe. The staff at the reception and in the restaurant were very kind and attentive. The receptionist offered to move our sun umbrella to a better row the next day. I enjoyed the wide variety of seafood; we could choose from three types of appetizers, main courses, and desserts. Breakfast could be enjoyed either inside the restaurant or on the covered terrace overlooking the garden and the pool. The hotel is located in a peaceful, green area, about a 10-minute walk from the shopping and entertainment district of Pineta. It's a 5-minute walk to the beach through a beautiful grove of palm and oleander trees. Bicycles are also available. After check-out, we were allowed to leave our car in the parking lot until the afternoon. We saw that the hotel is developing—many rooms have already been beautifully renovated. Since we took advantage of the early booking option, we were able to enjoy our holiday at a very favorable price: we stayed for 7 days for the price of 6. We stayed from Sunday to Sunday, which worked well for us in terms of travel, as we avoided weekday rush hours around big cities, trucks, and the Saturday crowds on the roads.I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing holiday.

Parking spot was an issue as there wasn’t enough for all hotel guests. Also the walls between the rooms has been very thin so it was noisy sometimes.

Camere non molto moderne ma con ottima pulizia e con tutto quello che serve per un soggiorno confortevole. Ottima anche la colazione e i servizi come le biciclette a disposizione e il parcheggio privato. Inoltre fermata dell'autobus per il centro di Lignano proprio di fronte all'hotel

• SilkeS909 (10/5): Wonderful Spot for Family Gathering - Initiated by our Mum the extended family meets there once a year. Beginning of June the hotel and the beach are a non-crowded Italien getaway. We all love the food there, it's delicious. Very friendly staff, la patrona Elena is taking care of us, we always feel welcome. The beach is a 5 min walk away, bikes are available free of charge to cruise around, we go for a run in the early morning- we always have a great time there, from 12 year old to 88, and we come back next year for sure.

• thomasc3uk (10/5): Brilliant hotel with delicious food - I stayed for 2 weeks at Hotel Smeraldo in June 2015. After a warm welcome from the helpful staff, I was shown to my room, which was comfortable, clean and air conditioned with a balcony. The hotel pool is a good size, modern and quiet. The staff were knowledgeable about the local area and there are bikes available to get around on. Hotel Smeraldo is in the Riviera area of Lignano, within a couple of minutes walk from the beach and close to the Pineta area where there is a good range of restaurants and bars. The beach is fantastic, with clean sands, not crowded but pleasantly busy. I often ate at the hotel restaurant, which had a very varied and consistently excellent menu. The food was never short of delicious and the waiting staff were faultless. I particularly enjoyed the selection of local wines. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday. I got the impression that many of the customers were regulars, which is no surprise given the friendliness and hospitality of the owners.

Breakfast not impressive, the personnel is nice although they do not seem to have been professionally trained. Parking lots are not easy to access and they quickly get full. Overall, it was a decent back-up solution.
