• Thorsten (10/5): Nice stay in Matsuyama - We stayed in the tatami room on top - a bit difficult due to the staircase, but perfectly nice and quiet. The place is a hostel, but I cannot really comment on the hostel part. What I can say is that Shinpei is fluent in English and that is a great help, especially as he's a very nice guy. If you want to saty near Dogo Onsen and are on a budget: Very good choice.
• Verified traveler (4/5): 差勁得要立即換酒店 Awful experience - It was early autumn with 20 degrees. The room was a bit stuffy, without air conditioning or a fan. I started sweating after changing the sheets, so I asked the host if they could turn on the air conditioning. He was very reluctant, saying I shouldn't feel hot and that I was the only one feeling hot in the room. He believed that I could manage without turning on the air conditioning. However, I really felt hot. The air in the room wasn't circulating well, and I was especially concerned that it would become even stuffier with more people at night. But the host surprisingly claimed that it would get cold at night and insisted on keeping the windows and doors shut without turning on the air conditioning. I was astonished. Wouldn't we all suffocate in such a situation? I couldn't stand being in a closed space without a fan or proper ventilation, so I insisted on having the air conditioning on. After a 15-minute argument, the host reluctantly turned on the air conditioning, and in a very impolite manner, asked, "Are you happy now?" I was offended by this rude attitude. Despite having paid for three nights, I immediately left and found a new hotel. 房間沒有冷氣和風扇，我換完床單後流汗，問host 能否開冷氣，他十分不情願，花了15分鐘argue 我不應感到熱，甚至晚上會冷得要關上門窗（缺氧挑戰？）我堅持要開冷氣保持空氣流通，他最終不情願地開冷氣，問我are you happy now？ 我極度驚訝和不能接受，雖然已付3晚房租，但也立即離開，換了新酒店

• Nathaniel (10/5): Comfortable stay in great location, friendly owner - The owner is so friendly and helpful. The lobby area with dining and kitchen resources feels very cozy and comfortable. The location is extremely convenient, just a short couple minute walk from the famous Dogo Onsen, and there is also plenty of nice shops nearby - a beautiful to explore beyond that neighborhood as well.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - 도고 온천에서 매우 가까운 게스트 하우스입니다. 저희는 3층 개인실을 이용했는데 4명이서 지내기에 적당했습니다. 샤워실과 화장실은 공용이었지만 매일 저녁에 도고온천을 갔기 때문에 문제 없었습니다. 방에서 음식물 섭취가 불가능해서 1층 로비에서만 먹을 수 있는 것이 불편했지만 로비 인테리어가 예뻐서 그것도 괜찮았습니다. 4인용 방이 있다는 점이 가장 큰 장점이라고 생각합니다. 숙소 덕분에 만족스러운 여행이 가능했다고 생각합니다.

• Music teacher (10/5): 마쓰야마 공항과 가까운 게스트하우스!!!~ - 처음 이 숙소를 결정할때 많은 고민을 했는데 지금은 잘 결정한거 같아서 추천합니다. 무엇보다 센과 치히로의 행방불명 감독이 여기 게스트하우스 근처에 있는 도고온천을 보고 영감을 받아 제작한 애니메이션도 있고 온김에 온천도 가보고 근처 맛집도 즐기면 좋을거라 생각합니다. (도고온천,도고공원 등등 많습니다.) 1층에는 데스크와 바,화장실등 아늑한 분위기로 있으면 취식 가능합니다. (아! 그리고 사장님이 영어도 잘하시니 걱정 마시고 방문해주세요.) 2층에는 여성전용숙소가 있고 샤워장 2개와 세면장이 있습니다. 샤워장에 샴푸와 트리트먼트 있고 수건이나 치약 칫솔은 지원되지 않아요. 3층이 남성과 여성이 같이 지낼 수 있는 곳이고 2층 침대 5개가 있습니다. 공항과 숙소 가까우며 무엇보다 지금 한국관광객을 위한 무료셔틀버스 운행중입니다. 이 버스를 이용해 접근이 용이하고 가게 사장님이 가끔 기타와 우쿨렐레 연주도 해주십니다. 음악을 굉장히 좋아하십니다. 숙소 1층에선 외부에서 음식을 사와 취식이 가능하며 아늑하고 깨끗한 게스트하우스입니다. 도고온천은 수건을 지원하지 않으니 개인수건 가져가시고 제 개인적인 생각으론 그리 크지는 않습니다. 클래식하고 물은 진짜 깨끗한거 같습니다. 이 게스트하우스 근처에 도고온천 이외에 온천도 있는데 전 도고온천만 갔습니다. 사장님이 체크인 하면서 설명해주십니다. 근처 맛집과 볼거리 등등..일본어가 가능하시다면 편리하겠죠? 전 2박 3일로 다녀와서...세탁을 하지 않아서 세탁기 위치가 기억나지 않습니다. 확실한건 세탁물을 방에서 건조하지 말라고 이야기 했던거 같습니다. 침대가 조~~~~금 불편한데.....반정도가 막혀 있고 나머지는 커텐으로 막는거라 누울때 조금 불편합니다. (키가 크지 않지만....조금 불편 했다는........그냥 다 커텐으로 하지ㅡㅡ^) 하루정도는 게스트하우스 근처에서 먹고 즐기고 하다보면 시간 갈거 같아요. 그리고 무료셔틀 버스는 시간이 그리 많지 않으니 시간확인을 하시고 정하는게 좋을거 같아요. 아니면 아쉬운대로 편도만 사용해도 괜찮고요. 400자 정도를 더 써야 하는데,,,,무엇을 써야 할까요....샤워장이 적은 느낌도 있는데 게스트 하우스 자체가 많은인원을 수용할 수 있는게 아니라 이용에 큰 지장은 없을거에요. 세면대가 3개였고.....샤워장과 세면대가 모두 깨끗합니다. 조금 아쉬운건 침대에 청결정도?? 정도는 누우면 자는편이라 괜찮았는데...조금 더 깨끗해도 좋을거 같아요. 근데 그런 사소한거까지 신경 쓰면서 게스트 하우스에서 못 자죠^^ 만약에 일본어가 가능하시면 주인장님에게 근처에 맛집을 물어보면 관광객들이 어디 자주 가는지 알려줄겁니다. 영어도 잘 하시는거 같아요. 아!!!! 개선됐으면 하는게......슬리퍼가 객실 사용 슬리퍼랑 1층 사용 슬리퍼가 다릅니다. 조금은 번거로워요. 그리고 게스트하우스 이용시 수건이 지원되면 좋을거 같아요. 수건이 있냐고 먼저 전화로 물어봤는데 주인장님이 없다고 그러고 근처 온천에서 타월을 판다고 해요....

• Verified traveler (10/5): 大満足の滞在！ - 道後温泉が近く、立地は申し分なしです。 フロントではしんぺいさんが観光スポットなど色々と教えてくださいました。 道後温泉以外の観光スポットも聞けば教えてもらえます♪ お部屋もカーテンを閉めてしまえばかなりプライバシーが守られる感じです。貴重品入れのロッカーもあります。 １つだけ不便だったのは、洗濯機がないこと。最寄りのコインランドリーまでは少し歩くので、雨が降ったら大変だっただろうなぁ…。ゲストハウスは長旅の人も宿泊すると思うので、ぜひ洗濯機は導入して頂きたいです！ 楽しい滞在をありがとうございました(^^)
