• Metz (10/5): beautiful place, clean, staff great and quiet for sleeping. - Breakfast had both warm and cold breakfast items, fresh fruit, hot and cold drinks, muffins, cereals both cold and hot, yogurts, dairy and non dairy items, gluten free and whole grains, clean and accessible everyday. more blankets in room- we stayed during a snowstorm and while we were warmer inside, more blankets would have been nice!

The facility was clean and breakfast was impressive. One suggestion would be to add suitcase trays to the rooms.

• Jennifer (10/5): Great service! - The hotel staff contacted us just hours after our stay. Unbeknown to us, we had left a backpack with an iPad in it. We appreciated their diligence to bring it to our attention and were able to retrieve it that day.
• Teresa (8/5): Dreamy, but Damp? - We really enjoyed our stay at the Fairfield Inn in La Crosse! The hotel is in a great location in the downtown area, so it is in walking distance to the river walk, stores, and restaurants. The breakfast was wonderful and fully supplied. Really, the only recommendation we have for this hotel is that you install more towel racks in the rooms' bathrooms. We don't mind reusing our towels one time, but the knobs to hang used towels on don't allow the towels to dry very well, and who wants to reuse a damp towel? No one! Other than that, we had a great stay!

• Plumer (10/5): Best In Class - I’ve traveled to La Crosse for over twenty years and have stay at several hotels there. This was my first stay at the Fairfield Inn. The location is very convenient for tourists since it’s located downtown. The lobby is wide and very welcoming. I interacted with several staff, including the cleaning crew and everyone was friendly and attentive. We reserved a standard room with one queen size bed. The room was spacious enough for work desk, a couch, and a chair. The sleeping area and bathroom were spotless. And most importantly, the bathroom was stocked with premium toilet paper, not the cheap stuff 😊. Our reservation included a breakfast with a very large assortment of food options. I would highly recommend this hotel.

• Lynn (8/5): - I liked everything except the street noise. Room was clean and modern, free breakfast was good, staff was friendly, fitness room and free parking were included. The only thing that bothered me was what sounded like car races on the main road well into the night. Maybe because it was Saturday, maybe because I don’t live in an urban area? But, that isn’t something controlled by the hotel. Otherwise, the area seemed nice, safe and walkable.

The ice bucket hadn't been emptied from the previous users which wasn't great but otherwise it was clean and cozy. Surprisingly big parking lot for being downtown. Would stay again.

You used the card to pay for the room and I got in trouble for that. The employee was supposed to pay for room and expense the room fee.

• Georgios (8/5): - We stayed at Fairfield Inn & Suites La Crosse for two nights over Memorial Day weekend with our kids. It was our first time visiting La Crosse. The hotel was in a great location—an easy walk to Riverside Park, the Dahl Auto Museum, and the Children’s Museum. There were also lots of good places to eat nearby. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast was good, and the pool was never busy when we used it. Overall, we had a great stay. Thank you!

Kitchen staff did a great job with the breakfast. The were very respectful. The 1st room we were in the dead bolt didn't work. They sent someone up who fixed it for the moment but when my husband tried to use it it wouldn't unlock. Then the key cards stopped working. My husband got two new set of cards that didn't work. Then they gave us a new room that was open the whole time we were there and the dead bolt didn't work. Also one of the cards didn't work. I went down and asked for a third room. This time they checked they checked the room there self. Took them two trips to figure out the card issue. This room was fine. Fridge froze everything in it but otherwise fine.

Some things seemed outdated otherwise it was an accepted short stay. The breakfast did make up for it as it was hot, fresh, and enough to have my fill.

• Nicole (10/5): - The hotel is only two blocks from the La Crosse Center, walkable to many stores and restaurants downtown. It is on the corner of two very busy streets so there is quite a bit of city/road noise. The interior is almost done being completely remodeled which meant very strong smells from the new carpet in the hallways. In the room, the smell wasn’t as strong. The room was clean, good breakfast, and we had a great check in experience and any staff we talked to were very welcoming and nice. Definitely will return when back in the area.

• Samantha (1/5): Not worth it, under renovation, no hot tub Dec '24 - Location. Under renovation, door broken, had to switch rooms, paid for a king suite and got a queen. Hazardous entry way inside and out.
• Bradley (8/5): - Hotel was clean and in great condition. My only complaint is in regards to the climate control for the room. The temperature was very warm and there wasn’t an option to turn down the thermostat and cool off the room since it’s cold outside. This made for difficult sleeping conditions with the room being anywhere from 75 to 80°.
