• nicolas (10/5): River & castle views a plus - Really nice option close to bus stops to hakata & 15min from the castle/city etc. Staff were quite and even got to checkin before 3pn which is a rarity in Japan. Fairly average breakfast though (at least the 'western' part).

The breakfast is so amazing. The room is bare minimum but no negative point at all. The public big bath was excellent. Thank you for your hospitality.

• YASUHIKO (8/5): 窓からの景色は良いですが繁華街には少し遠いです。 - ホテルからの景色は良いのですが、10分位歩かないと飲食店が無いところが難点かと思います。滞在時梅雨の時期でもあり、新型コロナウィルスの為、ホテルのレストランもやっていなかったので雨天時にアルコールが欲しい方は要タクシーかと思います。朝食ビュッフェは細かく小皿に分けられ、各自で取り分ける必要が無く衛生的で良かったです。

But if you have time or car this is a excellent hotel with beautiful views of castle n river; an onsen; and delicious breakfast buffet (for $8.00). Hard to find this quality hotel at such reasonable price. I booked 3 nights thinking it would be good place to visit the 3 major pottery towns. If you want to see Arita, Imari and Karatsu pottery - best to stay in the actual town of Karatsu.

• Alexandra (8/5): Please Include a Note about the Room Electricity - The only major downside was not knowing about inserting the key for electricity in the room. Although they had basic information on a slip of paper in English, it neglected to mention that. I had to call down because I wasn't expecting it and couldn't figure out what was up with the room. After the front desk staff showed me, I used google translate on the text next to where you insert the key and it didn't mention anything about electricity or power either. None of the staff I interacted with seemed to speak English well, but this wasn't a problem. Overall, it was what I wanted out of a hotel stay. :)

• Kelvin (6/5): - 酒店的自助停車位置鄰近酒店大堂入口，有大量停車位及少量電車充電站，鄰近唐津市，到呼子朝市只需30分鐘車程。附近餐飲選擇多，而且多為居酒屋。整體清楚度高，淋浴間的水壓也足夠。 但駐車場的燈光較暗，指示不足，得到酒店職員指示才知道原來酒店駐車場有兩個。雙人床房的房間很小，床舖很窄和枕頭很硬。

• haesong (8/5): 서비스가 좋아요 - 뚜벅이 여행이라 자전거를 빌려주는 서비스가 있어 신청했어요. 하루는 비가 와서 걸어다녔고, 하루는 자전거를 빌렸는데 정말 좋았어요! 근처에 드럭스토어도 있고 가라쓰 역도 있어서 저녁에는 이자까야, 그리고 낮에는 자전거 타고 관광하기 좋았답니다. 근처에 편의점이 없는건 조금 불편하고 직원분들은 아주 친절해요! 아쉬운건 방 크기정도.... 우오한 료칸에 비해 가성비가 떨어져요 방 크기가 너무너무 작아요 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

• Verified traveler (10/5): Quite Nice! - The hotel was chosen as it is one of out pead-stop after a long drive. The qualify is nice and we are happy.

There is a very comfortable massage chair in the room which improves the facilities quality in the hotel. However, the mattress is very soft and it makes the bed not very comfortable.

The river view from room was stunning, you may see the Karatsu Castle from room too. The free massage chair in room was so enjoyable after traveling around in the day.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Pleasant and quiet - I was able to get a room with a view of of the river and some of the nearby mountains. I had the breakfast buffet one morning and the options offered were quite varied. I didn't get the buffet option the second day as I wanted to sleep in. Check-in and check-out were quick and there is no minibar, so no surprise charges. I didn't have to pay a deposit of any kind. There are vending machines for juices, coffee, alcohol and cigarettes. The nearest combini is a Family Mart just across the bridge on the way to the beach area. There is a Lotteria next to the hotel, but it's not a very good chain overall. There is also a Joyfull and a few other restaurants within a 10 minute walk of the property. The hotel room was very quiet. The bed was a bit firm and the pillow was kind of uncomfortable, but I've found that a lot in Asia. There is a soaking tub and public bath on the first floor with a river view. It also has led lights, which was kind of cool. I also had a view of Karatsu Castle from my room. I had a very nice stay for a reasonable price. I didn't like the early check-out time of 10 am, but I knew that was the case beforehand.
