It sounds weird but I was actually going to contact the facility and ask where purchased or have them purchase 2 for me and I would pay. The 2 nights that I slept there I slept the entire night thru comfortably. No neck or back pain. It was amazing. It's been 12 years since I broke my back that I slept through the night. I was grateful. The bathroom was small.

- Dr. William H. (3/5): The location on 6A was perfect however the facility is a has-been. - There was no breakfast provided. In fact, a room was provided on the premises for coffee. My wife discovered that the coffee pot switch did not work. There was NO COFFEE! This is a serious complaint. The bathroom tub and shower is dangerous. There are no safety bars to get into or out of the tub. The shower curtain bar needs to be elevated or the shower curtain replaced. The shower curtain extended into the tub creating a slippery hazard. The tub's middle section did not have any slip strips to prevent slipping. The commode was squeezed into a space that gave ca six inches for legs before hitting the tub. The water was hot. My wife has a vascular leg issue and therefore did not venture a shower. Whs

Wel een heel aardige dame bij de ontvangst. Het stalen bed kraakte en piepte. Als je erop ging zitten. Als je lag en je omdraaide. Vreselijk. De kamer was heel klein. Geen kast ruimte. Als je op het toilet zat zaten je knieën in de badkuip. Erg compacte kamer. Als de buren door hun kamer liepen hoorden we alles. Geen koffie en thee faciliteiten. Ook niet bij de receptie. Die was voornamelijk gesloten.

Grounds were well groomed, clean and offered so much to do during your stay. Our first room was very small, but would have been fine.

- Kathleen (10/5): - My son and I had a really nice stay at the Starlight Lodge in mid-August. It's in a good location, the property is nice and quiet; we really appreciated the pool, and the lawn with games, grills, fire pit, etc. The room itself was small (especially the bathroom, which was tiny), but it had clearly been somewhat recently updated, and was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Bathtub very slippery, needed attention. We had to ask for toilet paper and towels no maid service unless you asked. For the amount of money I paid it was not worth it.

The location was very good Room was very small, bathroom extremely tight and had a lot of mold. If you are a larger person you wouldn’t be able to sit on toilet without your knees in your face. Air conditioning very loud as well as bed. Walls paper thin could hear everything.

The outdoor furniture was beautifully made by the Amish. The pool was perfect. The other guests were yearly regulars and very nice to sit with at the fire. The floors in the room needed to be mopped better.

- Christopher (2/5): - Had a very disappointing stay at the Starlight. The room we stayed in (118) was very dirty and smelt of mold. Upon arrival the room was not cleaned yet so the owners went in with a shower caddy and cleaned it for 30 minutes. Upon entering, there was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom and I even had to clean the A/C filter due to the smell. The floor was grimy and left a black film. While the room may have been 'cleaned' upon arrival, the conditions allude to long term neglect. We checked out after our first night and I requested to be refunded for the evening we did not stay. We were told that we couldn't be refunded because we used Expedia, however Expedia agents worked with us to try to get refunded to no avail (starlight did not pick up the phone). I emailed Starlight with images from our room and they have not replied back to me. I definitely would avoid staying here as they do not take care of the property and also do not work with you when unsatisfied.
- Lena (8/5): Cute, efficient, friendly - We loved this quaint and unassuming little lodge. The pool was cute, space was clean, and the owners are onsite and friendly (cute dogs too). I would definitely say that "bed" is a strong word for the pullout piece in the room- it was a small armchair that folded out to a toddler sized bed- good for a child perhaps but definitely not suitable for an adult to sleep on. We were happy enough to share the bed, but just a cautionary mention if one were relying on that feature. Overall this place was a real gem- very cute and approachable.

- Maryjo (10/5): Charming, fun and very convenient to everything - The room was very comfortable, although the bathroom was a bit small. The shower worked great, but we had a little trouble with the soap dispenser, that the owners were happy to fix. There is also a kitchen that is open 24/7 that has a coffee maker, a refrigerator and dishes, which is great for snacking and late night snacks. The pool was heated and very clean and the fire pit in the yard was full of wood and available every night for outdoor get togethers. We are big baseball fans and it would have been nice to have MLB available on the TV.

The lodge is in the middle of Cape Cod, so it was not a long drive to all the recommended spots such as Chatham, P Town, Hyannis. The staff was very knowledgeable and nice. She basically planned our weekend trip. The GPS to the lodge was a little off. Otherwise, all was good.

- Natalya (1/5): Awful service, unimaginable client experience - It was the worst experience ever! I’ve booked 1,5 months in advance for 4th of July weekend. We’ve checked-in, got our keys, but the room was not ready yet, so we went on whale watch. When we came back after fireworks, around midnight and entered the room, there were people sleeping there!!! To all our questions and requests there was only answer - we cannot help you, we have no other rooms available. So in the middle of the night we were forced to drive back home as all hotels around were booked. Long weekend completely ruined, exhausting long day with 4hrs drive back home during the night. And I still waiting for my refund to be done, 3 days after.

- Jude (4/5): Not worth the trip - When my friend and I went to check-in we were told Hotels.com/Expedia made mistake on numerous reservations, including ours. The manager indicated that she canceled many reservations and only had us for 1 night, despite booking several months ago for 2. While she said she would accommodate, it wasn't a pleasant experience after traveling a few hours. The room was ok, however, bugs and old towels were in the room. I wouldn't stay here again.

- Milagro (1/5): I literally left after one day, willing to forefit my money and not stay another night. - Nothing Grossly over advertised!!. No where near anything. The first question I was asked was what kind of dog I had, as if they would send me back to wherever I came from given my answer! POST your restrictions if you have them! Not after your paying customers drive hours on end. Walls are paper thin, “locks” on the door can be opened with a small push, pool area looks dirty and NOTHING is close by. Certainly not the beach in the pictures on the site.

Being there in the off-season, we didn't partake of their amenities, such as the outdoor fire pit, but the grounds were well kept and it looked like an enjoyable space. We would highly recommend them and would stay with them again.

The rooms are a bit old and fairly no frills, which was fine with us, but I would like to see better locks on the doors, especially since it seems as if there's little staff. It's in a nice area and was very convenient to the house of my relatives, who live only minutes away.

A general feeling that the energy was higher in previous years. The heater which was two feet from the bed was very loud, it would wake you up when it came on.

The noisiest bed I have ever slept on (Metal frame made loads of noise whenever I moved - which is quite often). Bathroom door didn't shut properly. Table provided in room was very sketchy (picked it up to move it a couple of inches and a leg fell off). Bathroom would be better provided with the picture removed and a shelf installed instead.
- Carrie (7/5): Centrally located in Dennis - The Starlight Lodge provided a good price for a 2-night stay. Dennis is a central location to visit all areas of the Cape. They have a room dedicated for visitors to make coffee or tea, and they provide plates and utensils for visitors as well. The bathroom was very small, especially for taller individuals.

She responded to my request to change room immediately and gave me a nicer room than the one I reserved. The room was clean and nicely decorated. There is a well-equipped kitchen for all guests to use, which was a pleasant surprise to me. The property includes outdoor sitting areas with a fire pit. My husband and I enjoyed the fire started by a staff and had a good chat with him. Overall, it was a very enjoyable 2-night stay there. None

I found the mattress to be too firm. Would love a memory foam topper as I have arthritis and I couldn’t stay comfortable

- Angela (9/5): Relaxing weekend! - The staff were friendly and welcoming, they make you feel like part of the family. The location is convenient and close to the beaches. The rooms are updated and beautifully decorated.The grounds are spacious, with picnic tables and games to entertain. They even have a fire pit to gather around each evening. We were also pleasantly surprised that the pool was actually warm! Perfect for an evening swim. We will definitely be back! I can't think of anything that was not up to standard. We had a great experience!

Pool is awesome and they have a kitchenette if you want to prepare meals. They offer a shuttle for a small fee to the nearby beaches, much less that the parking fees at the beach. Would recommend this property and stay there again. Not within walking distance to many places and had to drive everywhere.

- Tessa (10/5): Beautiful, friendly motel, with a good pool for kids - The motel grounds are stunning and immaculate - just like much of the perfectly manicured Cape Cod area in which it is located. The pool was clean and also quite deep at one end (which you could rope off, if your kids are less confident in the water). But for our kids, this gave them so much joy, diving down to retrieve items from the bottom. The room was clean, with lots of plug sockets, and one of the other motel rooms had been turned into a guest kitchen, with free coffee all day, and facilities to cook and wash-up should you need them. The staff were also very friendly, offering lots of tips and hints for good places to visit locally. The fish and chip shop right next door was one of them - and it didn't disappoint. If I had to find something negative to say, then I guess the room was a tiny bit tight for a family of 4 people (and all our attendant luggage).
