The restaurant served delicious food, the smoked ribs were outstanding. We enjoyed hiking in the area. Our only constructive feedback would be that the receptionist should know where hiking trails or other resources are. We asked for information and she said she didn't know. We found another guest who provided information.

Verified traveler (10/5): - We had an amazing time at echo bluffs.the 3 bedroom we rented was perfect with enough space for the 5 of us and a nice deck to sit out on.our kids are basically grown but they loved walking the river and the splah pad at the park. There is also a small gift shop/store and a tiny restaurant with a great deck.

I was disappointed with this trip because the kitchen wasn’t complete stocked with utensils, and the cabin had not been cleaned thoroughly. Every window sill was full of dead lady bugs and flies and you could tell the property had not been cleaned in quite some time.

Debra (10/5): - I've been staying at Echo Bluff for years, always in January or February. It's always been wonderful. We live about an hour away. During the spring, summer and fall we'll pack a picnic, drive up for the day and hike. It's always a good time. And the staff is excellent, always friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the restaurant. The food is always good but the menu is limited. I wish there was more variety. However, this doesn't keep me from coming back. I' m already planing my trip for next year!

The dinner was fixed price and delicious for the holiday. After that visit, we will return. The employees were very nice and helpful. They really were friendly.

Verified traveler (6/5): Resort room - The staff was very limited especially in the only dining room. The maintenance person had to fill in and wait in tables. The food was not good. We’ve stayed in the cabins before and cooked our own food. The resort has always had problems with a shortage of staff. We love this place…scenery is amazing. The toiletries were very small. The bars of soap were so small. See picture below.

It is not easy to get to, but this brand new state park is still and peaceful in winter. I can see that summer would be very different, as the slow and shallow creek would be teeming with children.

Both the Christmas dinner buffet and breakfast at the Creekside Grill were delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We've already made our reservations for next Christmas!
Sherry (10/5): Awesome bluff! - We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this beautiful lodge next to an awesome bluff. Food was good and reasonably priced. We even ate great pizza on our balcony. Customer service was very good as well. I would definitely recommend this very nice lodge!

Matthew (10/5): Great Spot for Glamping - This is a beautiful place that I can't recommend strongly enough. We fished, had a bonfire, hiked, and watched wild horses but slept in a great room with a comfortable bed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that there is no place to sit at breakfast. Everything else was fantastic.

Tom (6/5): Breakfast warning - We called before our trip to inquire about dining, and were told there would be a free continental breakfast. However, when we arrived we learned the complimentary breakfast was only offered Mon-Wed. During our stay (Thurs-Sun) only a $12.95 breakfast buffet was available. Be forewarned! Also, the lodge is in a beautiful wild setting, but the exterior landscaping would be much enhanced with native Missouri plantings and wildflowers. It's mainly just weeds now.

Sheryl (10/5): - The property is an oasis in the hills of Missouri. It is comfortable and quiet. The staff are great. It was an awesome experience. Near other great Missouri sightseeing places. The only thing that was a disappointment was no DVD for the TV. But that was a minor thing. Would recommend Echo Bluff Lodge in a heartbeat.

Got some exercise walking the trails, ordered some great food, and had the most amazing view during breakfast. Which allowed us a moment of peace before a funeral.

Verified traveler (10/5): Echo Bluff Lodge a Great Family Getaway - A wonderful place in a beautiful natural setting, excellent food, and friendly staff. Loved our 2 king bed suite with view of Echo Bluff from our deck. Games in the lobby, gift shop/store, shallow creek great for wading and floating, playground, trails Perfect for family getaways.

Lauren (10/5): Lodge rooms are great! - We stayed in a lodge room instead of a hotel on our way through MO-totally worth it if you have the time! It’s a beautiful location, great for families or a couple’s retreat. The restaurant inside the lodge has amazing food, with generous portion sizes! We decided to stay an extra night so we could rest and relax longer during our travels. You won’t be disappointed!
Shana (10/5): Simply amazing - Our stay at Echo Bluff was absolutely amazing my husband and I had camped there many years ago long before the lodge was ever there and it was quite amazing to know that they chose to build lodge lodge exactly where we camped we thought it was a beautiful spot then and it’s even more of a beautiful spot now
Ruth (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at the Park and went on several site seeing hikes. Every place was very clean and staff was equally friendly. The only complaint was the lodge room was at least 75 degrees while we were trying to sleep. We were told daytime and nighttime was regulated by one general thermostat and not individually controlled. We did not need our room fireplace!
Thomas (8/5): Great resort - Super setting north of small town of Eminence. There are things to do on and around the river. Rooms are great. Be carefull around end of beds.toe stubbed.

Micki (10/5): Great January Stay - The Lodge at Echo Bluffs was amazing! Even in the cold of winter, the huge fireplace in the lobby was so welcoming. The front staff and the staff in the Lodge restaurant were very helpful. The beds were clean and comfy and the rooms nicely appointed. I noticed a few minor cleaning issues, such as left over notes, from the previous guests. Overall I'd come back again and again, especially when the weather is nicer.
