• 明媚 (6/5): The WiFi connection greatly influenced our experience staying at Sea Escape!! Otherwise I would give a 4.5 out of 5. Hop - Our 2b2b apartment was facing the golf court and had a great view. The kitchen was well stocked. The TV channels were kids friendly. The staff were very nice. The WiFi in my room was really weak, we didn’t have connection most of the time when staying in the room. I had a work meeting during the vacation, and I needed to wander around the building to find a better connection. Also, the dinning table was super wobbly that could cause a cup of milk spilled over when put one arm on the table.

• Sarah (8/5): Overall we enjoyed the property and thought we definitely got our money's worth. - The amenities were fantastic. My daughter loved the playground which was clean and well-maintained. The location was great but a little difficult to get to the beach without a car. The room looked very clean, but we did find a giant roach on the couch the morning we left. Since we were expected to leave everything clean we would have appreciated a broom and/or a mop.

• Elise (10/5): Great place for families. Wonderful staff - When we had an emergency with our child, the staff went above and beyond to help us. We are forever grateful. We really enjoyed the resort a lot. Everything was very family friendly. There was nothing about the resort we didn't like. It was a lovely family resort. We loved the indoor pool, the outdoor pools the hot tubs, location, staff. Would definitely go again. The only thing that gave us pause was that bookings.com gave us the understanding that we were getting two bedrooms because it said two beds but there was a pull-down trundle in the living room and one bedroom and only one bathroom and they rented out the other half which had another bedroom and bathroom. So that was a bit disappointing but it was a very nice lovely large living room and space and pretty well maintained so we were very happy.

I loved having coffee on the balcony and the quiet, peaceful surroundings. Our family had a great time at the indoor pool. The main office was a little tricky to find when we first arrived, but overall great experience. Would recommend!

We ended up asking for a pairing knife and bread knife, and they were delivered. A lot of rental properties we have used throughout the years don't have good knifes, but the ones in this unit were among the cheapest and dullest I have ever seen.

The condo could have been cleaned more thoroughly. The bathrooms had hair on the floors and surfaces. The kitchen is listed as fully stocked and ours was not. No cutting board, mixing bowls, and serving utensils.

They have 3 pools, putt , putt, tennis, arcade room it does cost for those but it's cheap , movie night they play different movies for the kids. Great location to everything. Brew thru drive thru is right beside it so very convenient. I would def stay again. The only downside is we did have to change rooms for last night but it was fine they moved us very quickly. I believe it was because we only booked 3 nights. It's a timeshare so they book by weeks but you can book different nights as well. The indoor pool also has a hot tub and their all open till 10pm.

We had to change rooms after the first night due to a mix up with Expedia, which was only a slight aggravation. The condo was nice sized and very clean and my kids really liked it. The beds were comfy and my son enjoyed sleeping on the Murphy bed. They have nice pools and tennis / pickle ball courts and put put as well as a nice laundry facility. Overall our room was pleasant close to everything. The beach is only 2 blocks, but during the time we were there it was not really safe to walk it with children due to the heavy traffic. But there are plenty of access points with public parking areas, so we drove to the beach to be safe. Overall we enjoyed the Sea Scape and would stay again given the opportunity.

No need to bring any equipment, it is all provided by the facility. The beach is just a short walk away, eliminating the need to drive or search for parking.

• Chad (10/5): - Fabulous little place! Has pools ourside and 1 inside with a hot tub. The beds are super comfortable. The only thing I did not like was the beach was a bit of a walk at 2.5 blocks. And you had to cross 4 lanes of bust traffic during the day. At night it was not an issue as much. I think there needs to a crosswalk put in to help with crossing the road safely.

• Rouse (1/5): I would never recommend this place. - Nothing really. For what I paid for this so called apartment I wouldn't expect to have a door to another room/apartment. This set up is just like a hotel room. AC sucks & room was rather warm. Seems the other room had control of the porch light. All in all definitely not worth what they charged.

The murphy bed was a little hard but the girls didnt complain. I took a nap on it and my back protested. The pools were the main attraction for us but there were so many other things to do there!

Close to all the Duck shops in the other direction. Close to the Wright Brothers memorial if you like history. Activities on sight and everywhere around. Things to do inside if it rains.

• Kristina (9/5): A Satisfying Stay - We enjoyed staying at this gated, air-conditioned rental property. It has connecting rooms (units S2A, S2B) with multiple electrical outlets for easy charging our cellphones and other electronics. The larger unit (S2A) has a balcony with 4 chairs, fully equipped kitchen including a full size refrigerator with ice freezer, 4 barstools, 4 person dining table and chairs, a large window, ceiling fan, large sitting area, 1 fold-away Murphy Bed, 1 private bedroom with 1 full/queen-size bed, ceiling fan, balcony with 2 chairs, full standing closet, side tables, full bathroom, and a private toilet. The balconies overlook the designated parking area. Our rental units have storm doors with a lock, which provided extra security. The connecting unit (S2B) is smaller in size. It has a small sitting room, a small window, small limited kitchen, a set of small table and chairs, full bathroom, private bedroom with 1 full/queen bed, ceiling fan, full standing closet, and a window. We stopped by a nearby grocery store to pick up a few ingredients for our vacation. The fully equipped kitchen (includes pots, pan, plates, drinkware, serveware, paper towel, ice tray, pot holders, sink, faucet water) at Sea Scape Beach & Golf Villas made meal prepping and cooking a hassle free experience. The kitchen has a bar height island and bar height chairs. It has an open view of the dining area, sitting room, and balcony. When the Murphy Bed was folded into the closet space, unit S2A felt more spacious. While one of the family members was cooking, the rest of the family were able to sample and enjoy a couple of pool games at the activity center nearby. Fun activities include an indoor pool, foosball table, billiard tables, several arcade games, gym equipment, 30-minute computer with internet access, outdoor pools, mini golf, pickle ball, and volleyball court. Based on posted pictures on booking.com website, we were under the impression that the rental unit has a total of 3 ready-made beds. Our booked site instead has two connecting units, each with 1 bedroom with 1 ready-made bed. The optional 3rd bed was actually a pull-out closet Murphy Bed in the family room inside unit S2A. We would have prepared a little differently if we knew ahead of booking that the 3rd extra bed was a closet Murphy Bed and that it didn't provide privacy as the other 2 bedrooms. The larger suite (unit S2A) included a bedroom containing 1 bed and a full bathroom with a door to a toilet. The shower bathroom did not have a door to separate the shower area and bed area. Although a shower curtain provided some privacy. Although unit S2A has a full kitchen, it could still use an upgrade in kitchen equipment. The downside is that the kitchen knives are dull and will need either a resharpening or a replacement new set. For future reference, renters will need to bring their own coffee filter, coffee beans, sugar, coffee cream, salt, peppers, sharp knives, cutting board, and personal toiletries. The gift shop inside the activities building is very small. Any important personal items must be brought in by the renters prior to coming. Furthermore, this property lacks ADA handicap accessibility and pet inclusivity. Although a possible issue, this was not an immediate need for us.

Loved the spacious rooms, 3 pools, scheduled activities, and quiet location (view of a golf course) We felt like part of a community! 10/10 Space was a bit dated, but was very comfortable, relaxing, and clean. Pools and courts were amazing! Laundry facilities on grounds in separate annex.

• AnneAndrews (6/5): Great Bones for an Older OBX Resort - This is a solid resort, that would soar to a 5 star review with some TLC and updates. It is in a great location and has great amenities, but the units are tired. While it is on the "wrong" side of the main road, it's an easy 8 minute walk to the beach, with the traffic light available to safely cross the road. It's also close to restaurants and grocery stores. The resort has 2 pools, and indoor pool, a weight room and games room and pickleball and tennis courts, all in good condition. The downside are the units them selves, that need things like updated cabinets, new carpets, repainting and fixing the outside stairs and decks. It was clean and had all the necessary kitchen stuff and more, but just felt old and tired.
• Kaelyn8 (6/5): Ho Hum dated resort. - When I say dated, I mean 80s... It's a good sized complex with 2 pools and 2 laundry facilities, which are free to use. AC works well. They don't tell you if you're in a lock-out unit. Loads of stairs. Lower end appliances that can be a bit finicky. Water pressure is ok. Walls are paper thin. We were tempted to the the couple arguing on the other side our our wall for a couple of hours after 11pm to just get a divorce already!

Thought it would be a little closer to the beach with the name and all but that's my fault for not looking at the map.

• KaraA07 (10/5): Wonderful Resort for Families - We really enjoyed our stay at Sea Scape! The unit we stayed in was spacious and clean and had a homey feel to it. The amenities included at Sea Scape are great for families with children. Lots to do to keep busy and entertained, such as mini golf, shuffle board, basketball, tennis, pickle ball, a playground, an indoor pool and hot tub and outdoor pools for swimming, ping pong, hand shuffle board, pool, games, puzzles, ect. The staff also provides daily activities for guests to enjoy. Some of these activities are included and some are a small fee. There are also 2 laundry facilities that are free for guests to use (you just bring your own detergent, ect. Overall we had a wonderful stay!

The indoor pool and game room is so nice. We plan to come back again. I would recommend this resort to anyone. Such a pleasent surprise.
• AnnetjieMartin (10/5): Nice surprise on the OBX. - Booked a week in February 2025. Without asking, we were assigned a bigger unit than the one we booked. It was a really nice free upgrade. The unit is spacious, well maintained, more modern than expected and all new paint colors. Staff were friendly and helpful at check in. Free parking very close to unit. Everything in the unit was working as it should. Bed was great, compared to so many other hotels that have you sleep on the firmest mattress they could find. No issues! Definitely recommended.
