Guest Reviews
- Ron Margo (8/5): -
- Sam (1/5): Gross and unclean, mean staff. - Nothing Rats, dirty, very mean staff
- RJ (1/5): The most miserable stay in a Wyndham Hotel ever! - The coffee and the king sized bed. The front desk manager was very courteous. It was miserable. Nothing like stated in the hotel write up. The entrance had a pop machine that sounded like a 747 taking off. You could hear it in our room on the second floor. The steps to the second floor were filthy. No wash clothes in the bathroom. A new light fixture in the bathroom was blinking like a strobe light. I had to get a chair to unplug it from the ceiling. No one on the grounds to doit. The toilet was installed on an angle. The breakfast was nothing like it was explained.
- Darwin (10/5): -
- Brandon (10/5): -
- Melissa (1/5): Got better rest in the car at a rest area on a state route - Hair dryer plug was visibly broken, not enough towels and wash cloths for the 4 confirmed guests, housekeeping starts beating on doors 2 hours before check out and harassed us until we checked out 40 minutes before check out time
- Edgar (2/5): - Nothing The room was dirty. The bathtub was clogged. The lobby is going pretty bad.

- Diane (7/5): We slept here. - Breakfast was waffles, packages of blah donuts, or cereal, coffee and juice. OK but not great. Bed was fine. Towel rod needed repairs and mirror top edges were cracked. Seemed shabby and cheap for $100.
- Hayden (8/5): -
- Cruiser24958376144 (8/5): Would definitely stay again đ - Easy check in and out. Nobody bothered us. Nice rooms, clean and stocked well. Really enjoyed our 2 day stay.
- Cole (10/5): - Location was great, staff was friendly when my brother and I arrived early in the morning. Bathtub in our room didn't drain well, but it wasn't an issue.
- John (1/5): Filthy and Lies - NOTHING! The place was filthy!!!! Hair in the bed, dirty sheets (doubt they'd been changed), the bed cover was all dirty on the end, mould in bathroom, near bed and in the freezer, along with the freezer just being dirty and not cleaned out at all. The security latch on the door was snapped off so couldn't be used. Floors were dirty and all scratched up. Bath tub was not clean and had a lot of build up. Towels were dirty, things were falling apart, lamps had tears in the shades. We spoke with the manager on duty who showed us another room, it wasnt much better and the bathroom also had rust. We then said we couldn't stay there and asked for a refund, which he said he'd authorise but wed have to submit through booking.com . Well now booking.com has said an agreement couldn't be made & gave me $11 credit (oh yay!). Both booking.com & the Travellodge re refusing to respond to me now. It was a huge inconvenience to have to move after a long day of travel, late at night and with a young child, plus having to pay for so.ewhere else. We took the manager at his word, saying that he'd refund but so far nothing.
- Haak (7/5): It worked - The breakfast was not good. There wasn't anything but sugary food.
- Geer (6/5): -
- Joyce (10/5): -
- James (1/5): -
- Brian (1/5): - That it was available for the dates needed at short notice. This motel is run down and dirty. It is a construction worker hotel. The rules say no smoking or pets yet people live in some of the rooms and have large dogs that run in and put. Obvious signs of smoking inside the facility. The rooms are not to be desired for comfort or relaxation. Very small rooms and very thin walls. I do not recommend
- Pathfinder373385 (10/5): They did some renovations which have made the property a lot better. Nice place very close to things. Great value - awesome, courteous staff-they do whatever they can to make your stay comfortable . Great value for the money. Nice and comfortable rooms
- Kathey (4/5): never again will I stay there. it was $86 and I should have known what I was getting with that price - The location to where I was going was okay. The staff of the front desk were super friendly When I first got there I couldn't figure out where the front door was because there was no office sign. The door stuck so I thought it was locked. there's only the sign that's at the road up high. I walked halfway around the building trying to figure out how to get in and where was the actual entrance. The whole place needs better taken care of. The towels were all stained. the door to the bathroom was all beat up. It didn't have a lot of paint on it. The extra lock for the door to the room was broken. a lot of the furniture was chipped and looked beat up. one good thing I didn't see any bugs. but I wouldn't sit down in that bathtub if you paid me. It wasn't that dirty but who knows if it was really cleaned well.

- Sean (10/5): -
- Bailey (10/5): -
- David (4/5): - When we checked in the baby was crying during our check in. We walked into our room and the floor was wet, looked like it had just been mopped. The flooring was bubbling up, looked like it has just been put down
- Alpizar (6/5): - HabĂa problemas con la luz del baño y no me la cambiaron, quise cancelar la reserva segunda que tenĂa a ContinuaciĂłn y la aplicaciĂłn no me lo permitiĂł
- Michael (6/5): - Wasn't that clean.
- Nathan (10/5): - Friendly staff were present 24/7. The room was simple with everything one would need for a short stay. Things like ice, napkins, and utensils were available in the lobby which was handy when we brought back some food. In the morning they had some simple breakfast to offer which was nice to snack on quickly before we left. Overall everything I look for in a hotel was present.
- Thomas (6/5): - Standard expensive room and service. Bed was hard. Room was clean. Fixtures need fixing and updating. Friendly service.
- Eric (8/5): - I liked the location
- HEATH (4/5): - My room, specifically my bathroom was dirty. There was hair stuck all over the wall and even on my towels. Their coffee machine in the lobby was getting installed so I resorted to the Kcups in the room, but there wasn't any coffee, only tea and decaf.
- kathleensQ9500CM (2/5): Unsatisfied customer - Second time my reservation has been mixed up. I'm handicapped and they wanted me on the second floor with no elevator beds are 3 feet off the ground.
- Emery (6/5): - Place needed some love and smelled like pot and cigarettes
- Robert (2/5): Black mold - The hotel is in complete disrepair due to renovations and definitely has black mold because my wife and I both came down with something after one night here.
- James (9/5): -
- Shea (2/5): - Room was dirty, old, moldy, and Hair was everywhere. The front desk was under construction and peopleâs information and paperwork was on the desk for everyone to see and no employees around. Online option to pay more for breakfast on some websites and no breakfast at hotel. Walls were thin could hear everything.
- Danny (2/5): - False advertising! Had I known you weren't serving breakfast, I would not have stayed at this property. The lobby was under construction and absolutely filthy. There was mold in the bathroom, a missing towel bar and a broken security latch on the guest room door. Disgusting!!!!!!!!
- Geri (7/5): -
- hiwayriders (4/5): How they get a 3.5 star rating! - The hotel was undergoing renovation. There were ductwork and dangling wires in reception area. We were too tired to look further for a room. I wish I had. Flies invaded the hallways and our room! There was no breakfast and the coffee wasnât good. Drive by this place!
- Marisol (1/5): Too expense and didnât have breakfast, dirty hallways and no shampoo in room, just pain out disappointedâŠ! - The kind office lady Dirty sheets, no shampoo, no breakfast, dirty hallway carpets,
- Richard (10/5): - We thought everything was very clean, bed was comfortable, the check in was smooth and they were very nice.
If I had to say any improvements could be made, it would just be for a better pillow .
- Raymond (8/5): - I e and clean
- Raymond (8/5): - Nice , clean rooms . Good place for an overnight stay
- Angela (6/5): - The staff was very nice. Our sink in the bathroom wouldn't drain. We had to lodge a pen cap in it to make the water go down. We got 1 washcloth for both of us. there was a small thing of shampoo in the bathroom, and the dispenser in the shower didn't have conditioner and a very small amount of shower gel. The clock in the room didn't work.
- Chris (4/5): - Bed linens frayed and discolored, towel rack in bathroom covered in rust, bathroom light didnât work.
- Jill (10/5): - I really enjoyed the room for my night. Itâs an older hotel but itâs renovated. Very clean and comfortable. The only thing I didnât like and needs improvement is you can hear the noise from the other rooms next door. Needs something done for noise reduction. Other than that it was a nice place! Also the lady at the front desk was awesome! She had the lobby smelling amazing! She was super friendly! I would stay again!
- britlanp (10/5): Nice stay and affordable - Itâs a nice clean little hotel if youâre passing through and need a room. The lady at the front desk at night is wonderful! Sheâs such a pleasure to speak to. Nice little breakfast in the morning I do enjoy the waffle machine thatâs always available, unlike other hotels in the area who offer them only once a week. Itâs a nice quiet stay I would recommend.
- Tod (8/5): - Things at this hotel were fine with the exception of the breakfast. There were very few choices, and zero to drink other than coffee.
- Ron Margo (10/5): Good location for our trip. Restaurants and take out near the motel. Friendly service. - breakfast was good. I stayed on my way to Green Bay and on my way back. Two different rooms, both very clean, especially the bathroom. Really good value. We had no complaints at all.
- Mary (2/5): - I was very disappointed with the hotel by "Wyndham". I am handicapped and there was no elevator. The man helped me take my bag upstairs but there was no one to be found to help bring it downstairs. The bed was ridiculously high off the ground. I had a very hard time getting into it. There was a loud drip outside the window all night and it made it very hard to sleep. The breakfast was quite poor with tables that moved and spilt the coffee. I am not sure why it is affiliated with Wyndham, it is nothing like their properties are like
- Black (7/5): -
- Black (6/5): -
- Terry (2/5): - No one there to check in. Very strong smell if oil. Could not get anyone to answer phone for several hours.
- Shawn (8/5): - Beds could be a little more comfortable but I like a softer mattress. Could use a little updating in the bathroom. Not at all a bad place though especially for the price. Very clean and smells great. Iâm getting ready to stay for the third time.
- Tracy (2/5): - First there was a very weird musty smell when we walked in...Bed and pillows very hard sheets had stains on them and the bed was so high off the ground my husband had to assist me getting on in. The side door would not open with key cards so other guest were just propping it open, this was not safe. Breakfast muffins we not edible.holes in the walls and chair was broken. There was a coat rack and hangers so close to the bed that i hit my head. No staff available on we checked it.
- Ethan (8/5): - It was a nice place, smaller than the pictures but big enough, man at the counter was nice, the maid tried coming in while the sign was on the door though.
- Tracy (1/5): Horrible experience - Very dirty, room smelled like mildew, dog crap all over sidewalks by doors. Everything in my luggage for the rest of my trip now stinks like mildew since it was in the room. Bed was hard as a rock pillows were very thin.
- 462cassies (2/5): Stay somewhere else! - Stay elsewhere! Dirty room, nasty towels, we had items taken from our room while we were out, had someone trying to get into our room while we were in there. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone!
- Ana (8/5): Very good - was ok, clean, staff nice enough, but quiet expensive for our budget we got 5 messages about reduced services coz of covid, 3 years after the pandemic ended, what is just ridicoules, got the messages even after we checked out
- Verified traveler (6/5): Served our need - It was fine for the night. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The bathroom lights kept flickering & had to be turned off and on every minute or two to stop the flickering. The hotel was a bit dated and the breakfast was sparse.
- Sharon (2/5): A Dump - This place is a dump. The carpet is thread bare in the halls and there's not even carpet in the room. The bathroom walls are cracking, the shower didn't work properly, the breakfast was ultra cheap- nothing hot except waffles. The coffee was weak and awful. They didn't even have water available for breakfast. They didn't help me register for Wyndham points- didn't even put the final price on the bill so points can be calculated since I purchased ahead of time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.
- Charla (10/5): - Everyone was friendly happy understanding and very pleasant. I enjoyed my stay and appreciated their helpfulness. I would recommend this fine hotel to anyone visiting in the area. I rated it ,5 dtars
- Michael (2/5): - The lobby, room, and halls all smelled.
Black hairs on the floor.
Refrigerator made a banging sound every 5 seconds or so.
Everything looked run down.
- Shawn (8/5): - Front desk was very friendly. Very clean and smells good in the building. Outside of the building is also clean. The room could use a little updating but for the price I canât complain. I would definitely stay there again.
- Katia (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and quiet. Breakfast was clean and good. Thanks.
- Stephanie and Robert (6/5): Just ok - For a one night stay, the room was ok. The bath mat was dirty on one side and the room was smaller. The tv would turn on but since it had direct tv, the direct tv did not work, so the tv did not work. It was affordable for one night but not sure we would stay there again.
- Taylor (1/5): Will never stay there again!! - The room was damp then got another room that room had dry buggers on the walls in the bathroom and beside my bed. Everything
- Jeannie (10/5): - Loved the welcoming staff, very clean, great for the price! Thank you!!!
- Scott (7/5): Good -
- Yvonne (10/5): - On the way, needed sleep, perfect spot easy peasy, and off we went in the am!!!!
- John (7/5): Good -
- Candice (8/5): Very good -
- Jeffery (4/5): - Convenient location. Some seams around the shower were not completely sealed. Towel racks above the toilet paper roll? That could cause wet paper. The bed top was high and soft at the edges. Too easy to slip off.
- Jennifer (10/5): - It was clean and quiet. Only complaint is the beds are set a bit high for short folks.
- Boerger (7/5): Good -
- Brenda (1/5): Bad -
- Brenda (1/5): No WiFi, dirty sheets /blankets, the very little nasty breakfast that made us all sick. - It took forever to check in and Iâd already pre checked in. No paperwork was completed on hotel end. Little to no parking
- Rocky (10/5): - Nothing
- michael (6/5): - Price
- Jerod (4/5): - Pretty dirty and run down hotel.
- Karen (6/5): - Staff was nice. Room was ok stained sheet and older. Reminded me of a place workers would stay just passing through. Fine for one nights sleep and to shower.
- gerald (6/5): Needs some repairs - Our room was clean and tidy. Well the bathroom shower was junky. The tub spout wouldn't sent water up to the shower head. The shower and tub pipes had broken away from the wall inside the wall. Had a nice soap, shampoo, conditioner dispenser on the wall that was totally empty. This room was 118. The safety inside door latch was missing, no lock lever or security chain.
- Bart (4/5): - mattress was comfortable, rooms worn out, tv didnât work at all so couldnât watch the game we wanted, bedding was stained, but appeared at least washed. Breakfast options very small but the mini waffles were good.
- Katrina (10/5): Over night stay -
- Alex (8/5): - There was some dirty towels in our room, the beds had some stains and the bathroom needed more cleaning. Went out and bought my own cleaning supplies and cleaned it myself. The beds need to be changed. We kept dipping into the middle of them. But over all I really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast had limited options. But the staff where friendly and it was in a really quiet area.
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maryann (6/5): - Clean but run down, very skimpy continental breakfast.
- Daniel (8/5): - Clean, quiet and convenient
- angelasX1509TD (10/5): Clean, safe and friendly place to lay your head at night - Travel Lodge is at a good location right off interstate 35. Conveniently located next to Holzer Hospital . While a loved one was having a very serious illness and was hospitalized for several weeks the hotel was in walking distance. I was able to stay a few days longer then expected due to the incredible rate of around $80per day. Very clean, quite, all doors to get into the building are always locked and are accessible with they card you receive at check.in. They offer a fast nutritional breakfast and the staff are very nice and helpful. I will always choose Travel Lodge when needing to stay overnight.. They by far are the cleanest,up to date, all around nicest Hotel over any of the other hotels in the area.
- Natasha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gerald (2/5): hotel very disgusting - was totally disgusting had pubic hairs in the sheets like they were never changed nor washed rooms and hotel itself was a disgrace should be shut down it is so ran down I was embarassed I even rented a room there I would like a total refund even used my reward points I would not recommened anyone to stay there or be staying there ever again
- Danielle (6/5): - The staff was friendly. The room itself was very clean. However, the bathtub wouldn't drain in shower mode.
The property outside of the room was a bit dated and dirty, and I didn't see an elevator. Just a note: If you have mobility issues make sure you book the double rooms which are downstairs... The single bed rooms are upstairs. I guess I would come back if I only needed one night and wanted a budget deal, but it's probably not likely.
- JAMIESON (4/5): Never again - This place is terrible. The walls are paper thin. I got to listen to the guy in the next room snore like a freight train all night. The gaps around the door let tons of light and noise in from the hall. The decor looks like something from the 70âs. The floors were stickyâŠno carpet.
- Pathfinder373385 (10/5): Nice place to stay close to Holzer - Comfortable and easy to locate. Close proximity to the hospital. Nice staff on site - especially Carmen and the management team.
They keep it clean and tidy. Happy to recommend this place to people who look for a comfortable and safe place close to hospital and the highway 35
- Charles (1/5): Bad - Was no breakfast due to covid lol What did I better yet
- Suman (8/5): - Room was clean. Overall property is in good condition. Does not have an elevator. Breakfast could be better.
- Cassandra (4/5): - There was a couple U-Haulâs in the parking lot and this guy was scope in the mail checking in the back looking to see if there was a lock on them because he wanted to come back later and possibly steal. Iâve seen it before! Also people in the hallway is being loud and obnoxious until almost midnight. the free breakfas all they have is one broken waffle machine and the juice machine was broken they didnt even have cereal or bagels. Thatâs disappointing when they tell you youâve got free breakfast and youâve been driving for 10 hours across the country and you look forward to that before you have to get back in the car again.
Huge mold spot in the ceiling in the bathroom. The pictures look so nice and the place was nice. It was cute but these were some problems that they really do need to fix.
- Yelbid (2/5): Horrible - Room stank of stale smoke (non-smoking room) and the hallway of strong disinfectant - and not possible to open the window for fresh air. Noisy until around 2am with what appeared to be a permanent immigrant population - is this a residential hotel? Certainly did not appear to be accommodating travelers and may explain why there was âonly one room leftâ.
Bathroom was clean and so were the sheets but donât look under anything. Most was disgustingly dirty and I didnât let my bare feet touch the floor in case they stuck to it.
Front desk ladies (one night, one morning) were both very pleasant and both lived their lives locally, long time Americans.
Breakfast was carb heavy: cereal, waffles, white bread and packet muffins. Donât wait around for it if you have to hit the road.
