- Oksana (9/5): - Отель расположен в старинном особняке, которому (по словам хозяйки) уже 200 лет. Когда зашли внутрь, сразу достали телефон, чтобы делать фото и видео - очень красиво! В номере было чисто и уютно, удобный матрас и подушки, белоснежное постельное белье и полотенца. Ванная комната была очень большая. Душевая кабина с мраморным полом - прям как в гареме султана Сулеймана:) Завтрак - шведский стол. Однозначно можно наесться, ча-кофе, всякие закуски. Единственное, что было не так - почему-то горячие блюда (картофель и сосиски) горячими не были. Расположение прекрасное - рядом с центром, но на достаточном расстоянии, чтобы не было толп и шума. Хозяйка - просто замечательная! Очень компанейская, веселая и дружелюбная.

- jtallariti (8/5): - Beautiful old mansion. Tarnished but fantastic in its history, interiors, ceiling height, views. The owner, Ismayil, was very accommodating to all requests. Being a converted old mansion, the room was small for the 2 beds they have in but I don't know how you would change that. The bathroom was a retrofit and functions well but there is a huge height difference from the room up to the bathroom with a tough to manage super high step. I don't love Turkish coffee so ordered 2 cups each Americanos. Charged $5 each for a small americano which is exorbitant. Good coffee. Crazy price. Other than that the breakfast choices were great. Though I loved the place, it does not look like the photos in booking. Like I said, a bit "tarnished" but fabulous nonetheless. Pretty decent walk from town if you have big luggage. But that said, it was "far from the madding crowd". I would stay again.

La chambre était confortable et le cadre vraiment paisible, parfait pour une petite escapade. Le petit déjeuner était également très sympa, simple mais de qualité, avec des produits frais. Une belle expérience que nous recommandons pour ceux qui cherchent un séjour calme et dépaysant !

- Nicholas (9/5): Great atsmosphere and a good place to soak up the history of Buyukada - One of the most characterful places we have stayed in. Loved the historical atmosphere. Fabulous views of the Bosphorus from the balconies. The staff were especially friendly and kind during a difficult time for our family. Food was very tasty. Good value! The property isn’t the most modern and those who prioritise large bathrooms or luxury bedding might look elsewhere, but we enjoyed the historical touches and artefacts which are the charm of the place

I celebrated my birthday here, and İsmail and Özlem made it truly unforgettable with their heartfelt congratulations and warm hospitality. The breakfast was delicious, served with care and attention to every detail. The bed linens were soft and comforting, and I loved noticing all the small, thoughtful touches around the hotel — from antique furniture to nostalgic artwork — which created such a unique and cozy atmosphere. Enjoying tea with a view of the sea made every morning special! I was truly enchanted by this place. I will definitely be coming back again! Thank you! I have absolutely no complaints — everything was perfect.

The breakfast is good.. It's a manageable walk from the ferry, even with luggage The bedrooms are fine. But after the magnificence of the entrance, stairway and landing they do feel a little disappointing!

Kahvaltı standart seçim de çok çeşit yok fakat bizim için yeterliydi insanları çok iyiydi. Otelin konumu çok iyi insan kalabalığından uzakta sessiz ve yürüme mesafesi iskeleye yakın her yere gidilebiliyor. Manzarası ve otel içi konsepti nostaljik 😊Herkese tavsiye ederim.

- Rosa Maria (10/5): Un paradiso di pace, circondati dal verde - Lo staff è stato super accogliente fin dal nostro arrivo, un po' in anticipo rispetto all'orario di check-in, ci ha ha fatto accomodare nel bellissimo giardino che si trova all'ingresso dello storico edificio, offerto del tè e un piccolo dolcetto. L'edificio di per sé è stupendo, tenuto molto bene e curato. La camera ci ha sorpreso per la cura, la luminosità e la vista sul giardino. Il letto e i cuscini erano davvero comodi, abbiamo dormito benissimo. La colazione è stata buonissima, c'erano opzioni semplici ma gustose. Tutto ti faceva pensare di essere stati accolti in una casa curata sotto ogni aspetto. Abbiamo deciso di noleggiare delle biciclette, il proprietario ci ha consigliato dove prenderle e ci siamo trovati bene anche con il proprietario del noleggio bici. Davvero consigliato! Nulla, era tutto perfetto.

Yine de bazı eksikler vardı; holdeki eşyalar epey tozluydu ve odanın camı açılmadığı için ortam biraz havasız kalıyordu. Daha iyi bir bakım yapılırsa adadaki en iyi otellerden biri olacağına eminim.

- Derick (5/5): Passable - The house itself is very nice, old and rustic. Location is super, not too close to the center but in walking distance. For a hotel, we expected the rooms to be cleaned every day - unfortunately, it was only done every second day and even that means only the emptying of bins and renewal of towels. We had to ask for a proper cleaning on the third day. The host family was not very friendly to us from the beginning, however it got better towards the end of our stay. (Also they were friendlier with other guests...)
- Erdem (9/5): Superb - The location was very close to the center of the island which takes you only 5-10 minute walk to get to the hotel. The hotel is owned by a family and they were so nice to us! The place was an old Greek family apartment before, and you still feel the same atmosphere thanks to the owners who didn't harm the historical look of the apartment. I strongly recommend this place if you want to experience a local Buyukada experience! Since this is an old apartment, you hear noises from upstairs during the night but it's not an unbearable level.

Everything was so comfortable and it feels like home. The room was so good and the view was perfect! I liked the vintage furniture and the bathroom too. Breakfasts and the coffee are delicious especially the cakes cooked by Özlem. Everytime it was so good to come back to the room after long walking through the islands and fall asleep under high ceilings and on a comfortable bed. And the air inside the room and bathroom was fresh despite the fact that it is an old building. The hosts are caring the building so good. And for sure it’s hardworking. I’m looking forward to returning to this Historical Maison as soon as possible. Nothing

Bu konu yüzünden genel olarak konaklama süreci/hizmetinden hiç memnun kalmadık. Su tesisatındaki problem düzelene kadar en üst kattaki odalar dışında bu otelde konaklamasını kimseye tavsiye etmem.

Spritz kostet 12 Euro.

Kamer en badkamer proper maar wel aan de kleine kant ( voor een gezin met 4). Op elke verdieping wel een gemeenschappelijk ruimte waar je kan vertoeven. Mooi uitzicht op het water. Alleen spijtig dat het ontbijt wat beperkt is, voor sommige zaken ( meenemen, eieren en fruitsap moet je bijbetalen)! Wat er was, was wel lekker!

- Amara (9/5): A great home base to visit Büyükada - The common areas of the hotel are spectacular and our floor had a particularly beautiful shared balcony with a view of the sea. The rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay and Ismail and his wife were very welcoming hosts! The location is also a short walk away from the port and the island's centre. It's worth knowing the check out time is actually 11:30am, not 12pm as described on this site, and breakfast isn't included in every room rate. This is also the only place we stayed where there was a charge for the bottles of water in the room. Not complaints, just sharing because others might find it helpful to know what to expect!

Every detail was thoughtfully attended to, from the meticulously preserved decor to the delicious breakfast. The building has so much character, we loved exploring all of the beautiful floors, as we were there on the off-season and had most of the place to ourselves! The hostess treated us like her own family—served us our breakfast and dinner at a grand table in the sitting area just outside our room. I have been telling everyone I know that if they want to get to a quiet place this Fall or even Winter, and do remote work, that’s what I did, and it worked out great! We’re going back in September!

- ilker (4/5): Not worth it - The hotel is very beautiful in terms of building and history. But as a business, it definitely doesn't do its job. There was a strong toilet smell in the room. The smell of all the food cooking downstairs was coming into the room. breakfast was below par. Loud noises of employees can wake you up early in the morning. I think you can find much better places for this money.

- Susan (10/5): - This was perfect for my first time overnight on the island. The location is a nice walk from the town center on the main road. This end of the island is quiet with mainland and sea views. My hosts Özlem and Ismail were welcoming and attentive. The hotel is a 200 yr old mansion that is furnished with lovely antiques. My room was comfortable and had the most incredible seaviews (sunrise too). I dined for dinner there and pasta was delicious and the wine selection quite good. I included breakfast (kahvaltı) in my stay and it was well worth it. I hope to stay here again as it was a very good experience.

All nice, but cold and a bit impersonal. Meziki had charm and loads of character. Family who ran the place couldn’t have been more attentive and welcoming. Even offered to make us a packed lunch as we were leaving early and missing out on breakfast.

They are a truly wonderful couple who tended to our every need during the stay. The rooms are beautiful with high ceilings and the furnishings are true to the historic style of the mansion. The lounge area and balcony are the perfect place to relax above the hustle and bustle of the island. Could not recommend more for a stay on Büyükada.

- Merve (10/5): Perfect! - Everything was just perfect: A magical mansion with beautiful and cozy rooms, located in a nice spot at Büyükada that allows you to comfortably walk from spot to another & delicious breakfast and food. Not to forget the wonderful hosts: a super friendly and hospitable couple that made me feel very welcome during my stay. 10/10 would recommend!
- Holida (9/5): Lovely historic boutique hotel - Nice historic boutique hotel. Located in walking distance from ferry docks, road to hotel is not steep and easy. Staff is friendly and helpful, kindly assisted us to settle in one of the rooms before the check-in time. Home style breakfast. We enjoyed beautiful evening on a balcony with stunning view. Small bathrooms, in one of our rooms we could not switch on the lights, while in another, could not close the window properly. All these may be because of old structure. But generally, our rooms were overpriced during our stay (it's showing way lower price currently), but I guess it could be due to public holidays and high demand at that time.
