• Axel Poh (9/5): Awesome place to stay for snowboarding/skiing esp if you have a group. - The location of the stay was great, located about 10-15 mins away from Hirafu village, it was much quieter and comfortable. Ample space, equipped with kitchen stuff to cook (saved us a lot of money from dining out), laundry etc. Closely located to Annupuri ski resort (less crowds) compared to Hirafu. Staff also provided local recommendations if you're new to the area as well. All good :)

• Leslie (7/5): Convenient, not cozy - The place has everything you need for short to mid length stays. Very functional flat, well equipped. It was complicated to get the team to answer to our arrival time emails / messages. I sent several heads up to get self check-in information as we would arrive past the usual check-in time, however all messages went unanswered and I finally had to call on the day, once arrived in Japan to get an answer. I was told by the host I had not filled in the arrival information - I did, twice. And the host told me he would "do me a favor and resend me the link for me to fill in the arrival info". Later on the team apologized as there was a mix up in clients and they'd wait for us at the reception. Once we arrived, we were told to wait outside or come back in a few minutes as the reception office was too small for multiple clients to check in at the same time: really not ideal when you have been on the road for 12h with a 5months old baby! There are things to improve on check-in process. Regarding the flat itself, it's very convenient it terms of equipment but the dining table chairs and sofa are not comfy at all. The cleaning done once per week was average and our bins were not always picked up/replaced. Same for our tissue boxes, they have not been refilled for the whole stay (9days). Inside the building it smells a bit of garbage, probably due to the fact that bins are not collected often enough in apartments. Location is good if you have a car, just 10mn drive from Hirafu - but not ideal if you plan to go around by walk.

• Faith (10/5): Exceptional - The room was very comfortable, warm, and spacious. We loved that there was a kitchen and a huge window by our bed where we can watch the snow fall. The staffs were very very friendly and we did not have any difficulty going to places because we drove. A staff brought us to our parking spot right outside our accommodation and was very friendly with us. The staffs were very helpful with our inquiries as well. We really really enjoyed our stay and would want to come back here when we visit Niseko again. We loved this accommodation and our entire experience here. Would definitely recommend this place to guests that are driving :) Nothing, the entire stay was so pleasant!

• Carrissa (10/5): Excellent location for ski convenience if you love peace and quiet - Quiet location, convenient to shuttle stop to get to Hirafu intersection (500 JPY but free if you have a valid lift pass, 20 mins ride). Staff couldn't be friendlier or more accommodating. Accommodation was great, space didn't make you feel cramped even for a longer (week long) stay. A couple of good restaurants nearby, a couple that do room delivery and others that do pickup service. However, if you want crowds and social interaction you need to go to Hirafu Intersection. Free staff dropoff and pickup from ski fields morning and afternoon. Would love to come back

• Cheryl (7/5): It was a nice and cosy apartment for 3 pax. - Clean, bright and had all the amenities we needed (i.e., toiletries, bathtub, kitchen with cutlery and cooking utensils). There was parking on site as well. No lift so you will have to carry your luggage up to the 2nd or 3rd floors.

Without a car, however, it was difficult to get to a market and restaurants. Also, there was a restaurant onsite at one time that was closed when we stayed. Very quiet and close to the slopes.

I will highly recommend people traveling to Niseko should choose this hotel. It’s close to Annupuri Ski Ground, it’s a very good place for different levels of skiing and snowboarding. NO!

Taxi service not reliable during the busy season. Extremely close to niseko village and only impediment to ski in/ski out is the unfortunate, but equally reasonable, ban on road skiing. • Patrick (10/5): Exceptional - We booked a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment for 3 people. The apartment was spacious and also had an in-unit washer/dryer which was really convenient. The location itself was good as well. Around a 10 minute drive to Hirafu, 7 minutes to Hilton Village, and about 30 minutes to Rusutsu. However, there isn't much available in walking distance (e.g. convenience stores, restaurants, etc.). There's a ski locker next to the reception and the rental companies were able to deliver / pickup directly to Snowdog. There are a handful of parking spots available - we didn't have any issues, but we were also there from Monday - Thursday. Note that to facilitate snow clearing, the front desk told us that we may be asked to move our cars sometime between 8 - 10 AM. Our group mostly left around 9 AM for the slopes and never ran into this.

• Andrew (5/5): I'm sure it's amazing when the resort is in full swing and the staff know Niseko well - The apartment was super spacious! Was nice being greeted at the Hilton by staff to be taken back. Now we've been home a few weeks, the feeling we left with was disappointment that no one really seemed eager to help with our challenging situation when we arrived in the first week of December. Yes, we arrived at the earlier end of the season, but when we asked for any advice at all on making the most of the available ski runs, what to do in the area if we *couldn't* ski, how we could get dinner etc, everything seemed too hard for staff to help with or they genuinely didn't know as they were brand new. As we had never been to Niseko before, all we were hoping for was a slight helping hand in figuring out our options, and we were sort of left to our own devices. Hopefully this could be fixed with better knowledge training for staff, and a wider range of alternative options for the first fortnight of the season when not all ski lifts are open. It could've been a bit cosier – quite sterile and harsh. Not easy to relax there. Chairs uncomfortable, super bright lights. Easy fixes!
• Nathan (10/5): Amazing service and excellent location - The staff were amazing! Super helpful and the location is pet friendly. Located right near the slopes with a free courtesy bus to them as well. No nearby convenience stores, so make sure to take a trip into town and stock up.
• Charles (9/5): Great room, even greater staff - The staff is simply the most helpful and the nicest. They will do anything to make your stay better, and know exactly how to make your life easier (they help with trains and bus bookings and timetables, arrange drop offs and pick ups from the bus stops and train stations, as well as from and to the ski lifts) The room is quite big and the bed comfortable, and the bathroom is great. Everything is also super clean. The room includes a dryer cleaner unit which is equiped with detergent free of charge, which was an unexpected but very much appreciated bonus The location is a bit isolated from restaurants and party places, but its nothing a bus ride or taxi ride cant solve.
