• Sofia (6/5): Pleasant - The building is very old and should be renovated! The room has AC and ventilator and a mini bar so everything works. It is extremely simple but for a short stay it is ok! It said there was the option to add breakfast for 3€ but it was not possible! The staff did his best to be welcoming! I think I was the only guest so they gave me a bigger room with a window! They had a bike to rent which was old but working for a couple of hours of biking around the old city!
• Miroslava (7/5): Good - The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is clean and the room. There is an area where you can stay and work or eat on the terrace which is big. If you ask for a soap or toilet paper they will give you. The building itself looks nice. There aren't enough contacts where you can charge your phone or laptop. The staff asked me for a higher price than the one in Booking and we had to negotiate in order to get an approval that I can pay the price which was according to my reservation in Booking.
• Pavelkristan (4/5): Disappointing - Good location, price was ok, The bed linen and toilet clean. We have been here 6 years ago, since then was done nothing to improve the feeling, except daily clean8nd. The windows were dirty, the walls need fresh paint, the floor on the gsngway to the breakfast place were roooten wood tiles, so one has wach the steps very carefully. The breakfast was verry modest, we have to pay extra for the fruits.
• Mariusz (9/5): Superb - The facility is well-kept and clean, the service is helpful and friendly, the hostel has a very good location Restaurant in the facility - it was difficult to determine what to order, especially the price
• Cherry (5/5): The worst lodging I've paid for in years of travelling (even though it was a small sum) - Nothing...because practically everything was negative! (1) I booked a bed in a ladies' dorm but on arrival was told there was only a mixed dorm (occupied that night by a lady and a man) so their description was not true. When I refused to accept that dorm they gave me a tiny, dismal room completely taken up by a double bed with hardly any space to move around it, dimly lighted, humid and musty smelling. When I tried to air the room, it was immediately invaded by mosquitoes! (2)The incompetent "staff" consisted of 2 older men and 2 younger ones, all of them in fact busy day and night with renovating the front part of the hotel, which was to be the future restaurant of a "resort". I learned little by little that they were rushing to complete the renovation for the opening in a short time, that the place had already changed its name to "City Resort". Another deceiving description of the property! The whole ground in front of the building was cluttered with building material (stacks of thatched coconut roofing, etc) and machines and...what a horror, these machines were on at night too. I was so angry I had to shout to stop the workers at 11 pm! But they started all over again at 6 am! I won't continue the list of these unbelievable practices but each one gave rise to a heated argument. The so called "manager" declared that he had never had a problem with any client up til then, but did any client ever had to go through the same horrible experience as me??? Why did he accept clients at all when the place wasn't ready to function properly? And how dare he declare to Booking.com that I failed to show up for my stay, and that I had to pay a penalty for this "no show"! What a stupid lie...again!...when I have the bill to prove the payment of my 2 nights' stay! On the contrary this unscrupulous property should pay me compensation for its condamnable behaviour. Booking.com should also take action against this type of dishonesty or else lose its credibility.

• Jule (6/5): Pleasant - Great location and friendly staff. Very affordable price. Bed was clean and comfortable. I booked a female dorm and upon arrival was informed that they, in fact, do not have one. Very strange! I ended up staying in the mixed dorm instead, which overall wouldn't have been a problem for me. However, the bathroom lock was broken and the door couldn't be locked. Even for the very affordable price, I think a lockable bathroom can be expected. Mosquito nets would also be a great addition, I woke up with several new bites.

• David (5/5): Payable but I won't comeback. - I thought I was going to sleep there but then, it ended up they didn't have space for us so they sent us to another hostel, far from this. Organization, we had to ask for the bed sheets, there was one bed without mosquito net and it were many of them around. Bathroom and pillows covers were also dirt.

• Eng (10/5): Wonderful location and comfortable - The location is excellent. So close to the bus station. Also, there is a Keells supermarket just a stone throw away. Mr Sham owner gave me great advise on the surrounding attractions. Best place to stay in Anuradhapura.

• Desire' (8/5): Very good - Extreme good value for the price! Staff spoke very basic English, but was very helpful and could help with the requests (as taking care of my laundry). The location on Google is not exact, but the tuc tuc driver knew how to find the place. (Just a little difference)
• Marcos (4/5): Disappointing - Really dirty: I had to ask to change my bed sheets because they were clearly used. The floor was dirty, also te washroom. Really humid place. Facilities would be nice if they would take care of theme.
