- Fabian (10/5): - Wunderbare Unterkunft mit netter Gastgeberin in einer ganz tollen Lage. Bereits zu Beginn erwartete uns eine Erfrischung mit zwei Gläsern Wein. Die Zimmer sind modern und geräumig gestaltet. Die Betten sind bequem. Die Klimaanlage war relativ laut, aber die schöne grüne Lage bringt auch etliches an fliegenden Getier mit sich, sodass ein Fenster-Öffnen eher schwierig ist. Man muss hier also einen Kompromiss finden. Das Frühstück war richtig lecker und mit das beste Omelette unserer Reise. Dies konnte man in einem herrlichen Garten mit schönen Blick genießen. Unser Star war hier die Schildkröte. Währenddessen wurde sogar das Auto gewaschen. Die Lage war perfekt. 5 Gehminuten entfernt zu dem Nationalpark und 15 Gehminuten zu den Restaurants (wo man sogar nachts zurücklaufen konnte). Wir können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen.

In the most astonishing mountain panorama, here is the most extraordinary place that simply eclipses normal accolades. Superb, tastefully furnished accommodation, sparklingly even clean every window was simply dazzlingly spotless, fast continuous internet and once in a lifetime breakfast, (I mean a fully loaded version with everything). Even hot croissants. And the hosts are kind and engagingly gregarious. Medals all round!

Vom Balkon beziehungsweise von der Terrasse ein herrlicher Blick in die Ferne. die sympathischen Gastgeber sind überaus hilfsbereit. Gern bleibt man hier länger.
- Steven (10/5): Great setting and comfort in Montagu - We stayed one night at the Montagu Vines Guest House and really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts, Anthony and Pam were extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. They both enjoyed conversation and were perfect hosts. The room we had was clean and comfortable. The dining room overlooked the olive grove and very large garden. It was in a great spot, close to one of the mountain ranges. We would only stay at the Montagu Vines if we stayed in Montagu again. The owners did everything they could to make us comfortable, especially in the light of my wife having broken her foot and having to cope with a plaster cast. They gave us a more accessible room, also with easy access to the Breakfast room. They teceived is with lovely cold drinks on a very jot day.

- Mike (10/5): Montague Vines Guest House - A beautiful, spacious setting in lovely countryside right on the edge of Montague. Our stay started off on the right foot with the offer of complementary drinks, served in the shade of an ancient oak tree. Accommodation was very good, but for us the highlight was the magnificent breakfast spread, served on the veranda ! Hosts very friendly and chatty too !
- Brian (10/5): Superb! - I highly recommend Montagu Vines. It’s a tranquil, immaculate and high standard guest house in extensive grounds with lawns, an olive grove and small lake. Sun loungers to relax on the lawn with a plunge pool to cool off in and our hosts Pam and Anthony served afternoon drinks to end the day. Our room was modern and stylishly furnished, the breakfasts were lovely and Pam and Anthony are very helpful and engaging hosts. Thanks for an enjoyable stay!

Die erste Unterkunft wo ich auch das Duschbad und Shampoo benutzt habe, toller Duft. Die Tips zur Weiterreise der Eigentümer waren Gold wert. Wir wurden am Nachmittag zu einem Glas sehr guten Weins eingeladen. Der Tip fürr das Restaurant war hervorragend `Church Street 22`. Das Frühstück wurde auf einer Terasse mit Ausblick auf den weitläufigen Garten mit Teich serviert. Ein von der Hausherrin selbst zusammengestelltes Müsli war hervorragend. Wie fühlten uns sofort wie zu Hause.

- Graham (10/5): Thoroughly recommended. Dont let this one slip by. - This is a paradise set in a quiet sleepy town on R62. The gardens are so beautiful and relaxing and the staff and owners so friendly and welcoming. The fresh croissants are by far the best I've had in South Africa coupled with very nice coffee. Thoroughly recommend this venue.
- Henni (10/5): Eine meiner besten Unterkünfte - Das B&B ist top! Uner Zimmer war total schön und vor allem war das Bett bequem und die Matratze mal nicht durchgelegen. Das Frühstück wird individuell zubereitet und die Gastgeber sind extrem nett. Die Anlage ist sehr schön und wird liebevoll gepflegt. Leider waren wir nur 1 Nacht dort, aber ich würde diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder und länger buchen.

- Christian (10/5): One of the highlights of our recent trips - My wife and I never write reviews ...but here I make an exception. This guest house was the best during our trip last week to South Africa . Great and quite place with a huge garden ..a warm welcome from the owners ...stunning room ( # 6 ) with a very modern bathroom. Awesome breakfast ...etc etc ....plus just near by many hiking trails which we loved . We stayed there 2 nights and we should have stayed three .

Versuchen Sie bei der Buchung auf Zimmer mit Zugang zum Garten, abgelegen von der Straße zu erhalten. Die neuen Zimmer sind außerdem größer und freundlicher (im Bad z.B. mit zusätzlicher Badewanne).

Frühstück wurde liebevoll zubereitet und war sehr vielseitig. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen.
