• Eric (10/5): - Everything was done with perfection. The breakfast was very nice. The staff was personable and helpful. The rooms were exactly what we wanted, looking out on a beautiful terrace. Although I thought the review said there was parking, there was ample parking down the straight but not on the hotel site. But all in all, very cozy.

El hotel no tiene parking, pero en una calle trasera con acceso directo al hotel, siempre encontamos sitio para aparcar el coche. Dentro de los servicios, el desayuno estuvo bien. Quiero destacar la amabilidad del personal del hotel y agradecer los consejos sobre recorridos que hacer, playas que visitar y restaurantes donde comer en la zona. En cuanto a Figueira, una playa kilometrica, tanto a lo largo como a lo ancho, lo que no la hace demasiado cómoda, pero en los alrededores hay hermosas playas como la de Murtinheira. El hotel bueno para un viaje tranquilo. Una buena experiencia.

Nice big room with a balcony, nice updated bathrooms, very nice elevator and breakfast was amazing. I would definitely stay here again in this area! The lady at the desk was super helpful, made sure we needed nothing and even gave us her parking spot because it was time for her to leave for the day. Definitely a gem of a property.

Quarto no cimo bastante funcional e limpo, só não dou nota máxima pois nota-se um bocado o ruído dos compressores do AC à noite , água do banho estava quente à noite mas no outro dia de manhã não aquecia muito. Vou voltar pois os pontos positivos superam.

• Carla (2/5): Complete let down, very disappointing - Having contacted the premises to inform of our late arrival, we were assured that arrangements would be in place to allow us access to the property and our room. We were unexpectedly delayed en-route, but felt assured that we would have had access to the property. Frustratingly this did not ensue, as on our arrival the key to our room had not been left for us. Furthermore our message and telephone calls to the proprietors went unanswered. We are disappointed that Fonte da Foz let us down, leaving us with no option but to seek alternative arrangements. We were exhausted as it was 2am, and needed a place to rest. We have asked for a reimbursement of costs between the original booking and the last-minute arrangements we were forced to make, notably caused by the lapse of Fonte da Foz staff. Sadly they have refused this, and we therefore feel that prospective clients should be forewarned about our unpleasant encounter.

Mas frutas frescas, variado opções de queijos, e pães diversos, suco de laranja fresquinho, geleias. hotel muito bom foram 9 dias incríveis. Local seguro, e roupas de cama e toalhas trocadas TODOS os dias. Adoramos! Voltaremos novamente.
• Elizabeth (10/5): Huge breakfast! - This B&B is just great! There is an elevator, which is a real plus. The rooms are charming with high ceilings and lots of light and air. The breakfast is excellent, and all the folks in the hotel are very kind. The street is quiet. I would definitely stay again.
• Erika (6/5): Não como antes;( - Infelizmente não foi desta vez. Já tínhamos visitado este hotel 5 anos atrás onde a experiência foi realmente mágica em todos os aspectos! Por isso resolvi repetir. Tudo bem que o quarto não foi o mesmo. Mas a qualidade do serviço foi uma desilusão. O pequeno almoço sem nenhuma sugestão para vegetarianos, ou uma opção ( saudável). A senhora que nós serviu tentou ser simpática, e agradável, o que contou como pontos positivos. Por mais que eu tente… preciso ser honesta, espero que um dia volte ser como a 5 anos atrás! Para já uma experiência a não repetir.

Staff were very friendly and have exceptional customer service skills. The room was spacious and the bathroom was updated. Luxurious linens and towels. Breakfast was fabulous and accommodates my gluten allergy. Highly recommend. Would stay again.

The homemade breakfast is superb and it’s always lovely to see the bright smiley face of the owner/manager. The cat hitching a ride in the lift to hitch a ride up tops it all off! 😻

Every corner had its charm and I absolutely adored the garden and the old pine tree that we could see from our window.. Breakfast was delicious with handmade jam (by Laurence!), cheese and ham...and even homemade chocolate cake! During our visit in October the weather was a bit chilly but sunset at the beach was still lovely (only 5-10 min walk from the place). We love every second we were in Fonte da Foz and Laurence definitely contributed to that!!

The art, the bedding, the shower, the breakfast! Homemade cakes, great coffee, fresh fruit,yogurt,eggs etc...Just lovely. It's a great location near shopping, restaurants and the the beach. By far our favorite B&B on our Portugal adventure.
