Everything is very well maintained. The view is spectacular and the big garden is awesome. The breakfast is freshly made on your request. The room was always prepaired accordingly the day time (f.exp.; curtains cloesed and bed done for the night). We enjoyed it very much. Absolutely nothing to say.

Sandiso (9/5): Home away from Home! - The swimming pool is the greatest hotspot. The area is surrounded by lots of trees, and the rooms have a nice balcony with a great view of Nature and Johannesburg's surroundings. They offer an interpersonal experience. One gets to receive messages directly from the owner of the guesthouse. They cater to one's needs and wants. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. One has to drive uphill to get to the guesthouse.
Benslife (10/5): Best comfort, views and hospitality. Excellent value. - One of the best views in the area for any guest house or hotel. The owners and staff are wonderful people who make you feel at home and are hands-on with making sure that you are comfortable and have everything you need. They are present throughout the day and accomidate each guest's needs individually. The rooms and entire property are pristine, modern and meticulously kept up. The area is safe and quiet, yet conveniently located. I have stayed here multiple times and will again for any future trips to the city. Nothing.

Benslife (10/5): Wonderful hillside views in modern guesthouse outside Johannesburg - The owner Brian was very welcoming and took excellent care of us. We felt like we were guests in their own home. The building and rooms are modern, super clean and comfortable. We needed to adjust some things with our room reservations which he accommodated graciously. They prepared a lovely breakfast for us each day and even served earlier to accommodate our schedule. The location was beautiful with terrific views of the city and large balconies to relax after a long trip. We will certainly be back again. Nothing

Verified traveler (10/5): Top-flight view of the city - Nothing but great things to say about my experience at Over the Moon. It started with a friendly and personalized greeting from Brian, the proprietor of the guest house, and that sane level of attention and kindness lasted throughout my entire stay. Brian goes the extra mile to make sure you’re comfortable and taken care of. He even gave me and other guests a ride to the mall when he was headed in that direction. I didn’t have a converter for my phone charger and he lent me one, no hassle. The room was stocked with a nice assortment of free snacks, water, juice, coffee and wine - nice touch. Bathroom toiletries were of good quality, and stocked regularly. The room itself was spacious and beautiful. I loved my king size bed, couch, and the PRIVATE BALCONY. The view alone made it worth the stay. Brian built this bed and breakfast in 2014 and it’s clear that he attended to the small details and didn’t spare expenses to ensure a high-quality experience for his guests. Also have to give special recognition to Priscilla, the do-it-all chef, maid, etc. She was very kind, gave just the right amount of attention, and left the room spotless. I especially appreciated the service and quality of the breakfast experience - great food, nice table settings, and flexible start time. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a five-star experience, centrally locates. Thank you Brian!
Uli (10/5): Toller Start in den Südafrika Urlaub - Wir haben eine Unterkunft für zwei Nächte gesucht und uns für das Over the Moon entschieden. Der Gastgeber hat uns vom Flughafen abgeholt, das war schneller und günstiger als mit dem Taxi oder Über. Der Ausblick ist herrlich, die Zimmer großräumig und toll eingerichtet. Der Service perfekt und wir könnten im wunderschön angelegten Garten am Pool entspannen
Joslyn (2/5): Incredible! .....if you're SUPER racist. - I only have 1500 characters, and that is not nearly enough. The house was beautiful and the room as clean. That's the nicest thing I could say. Like I said in the title, the man is incredibly racist. I'm not sure why someone in this industry would say the things that he said to a complete stranger. Way to perpetuate the stereotype. Within 10 min of me getting off the plane after traveling for over 32 hours I was faced with the moral dilemma of whether or not I should just get out of the car right there or feel like I was supporting such bigotry. I was tired, I had already paid, I was alone in a country I had never been to before, so I didn't say anything. I regret that. I was hoping that Hotels.com would have removed his listing by now, and I'm disappointed that they haven't. Other than that, the house is in a suburb, there's NOTHING around. I stayed one night. The morning that I was leaving he presented me with an additional bill charging me for transport from the airport (more than an Uber would have cost), a dinner (microwaved lasagna) that I didn't want, but felt obligated to eat because I thought he was trying to be overly hospitable, and a beer he offered me. Not once did he mention that I would be charged for anything. He wanted me to give him my credit card number, but I made an Uber drive me to an ATM instead. So if you're into sitting around a nice house, talking about how the government is making things too easy for "those people" then you should have a great time.
