• Antoniazzi (10/5): Really lovely 2 apartments for my hen! - Really close to via Fuligno and it was quiet. The host was lovely and the apartment had everything we needed. Beds are comfy! Nothing. It was great for us all!

• John (8/5): I would absolutely stay there again in the future and hope I can do so. - The location was convenient and the apartment was very clean and very practical. Its location, on a street with no traffic, was great for quiet sleeping. I never heard a single sound from the apartment above me. Check-in was seamless. The host was super-responsive and very helpful with my questions. The pillows were very old, but the owner said she would buy new ones promptly. The foam pad on the master bed had depressions from long usage and should be replaced, perhaps with higher quality foam. The cotton sheets were nice but the synthetic blanket may not be a favorite of some. (Be aware that the free parking lot is a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays, so you can't leave your car there at those times. But the 8 Euro a day paid parking lot is reasonably priced.)

I would have liked a door on the bedroom! We were staying with others and we felt a lack of privacy. We slept in the single beds with, again, no privacy. We were surprised by the lack of windows to see out. Maybe a couple of umbrellas in the apartment?

• Linda (10/5): Clean, great location and host! - Cozy Bricks was close to the center and good restaurants. It was very clean! Host Marco responded to texts immediately and has an easy registration to follow. Sending information before my stay started was helpful. It was about a 16-18 minute walk from/to train station. I stayed for two weeks, and Marco arranged a cleaning at no cost. I stayed in the street level appartment and would stay there again on my next trip to Lucca. I was content with the whole set up.
• Aulikki (9/5): - Super freundlicher und aufmerksamer Host, der jederzeit auf kurzem Weg ansprechbar ist. Im Vorfeld gab es viele detaillierte Informationen zu Anreise, Checkin usw. aber auch zu Parkmöglichkeiten u. Ä. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in toller Lage, war ordentlich und das Badezimmer besonders sauber. Es gab einen guten Service wie beispielsweise eine Flasche Wein, eine Reinigung der Wohnung während unseres Aufenthalts und Nachschub von Toilettenpapier. Die Ausstattung ist gut durchdacht, sehr organisiert und war völlig ausreichend für uns. Lediglich in der Küche waren ein paar Utensilien nicht so gründlich abgewaschen/gereinigt. Insgesamt waren wir mehr als zufrieden mit der Unterkunft und würden wiederkommen :)

• Francisco José (10/5): - La ubicación es perfecta para conocer Lucca. Está en un lugar céntrico, pero alejado del ruido. Se puede dormir perfectamente. La atención fue siempre inmediata. El lugar está bien equipado. Yo mejoraría el sofá, ya que es de los pocos lugares donde se puede descansar de la casa, y podría ser más cómodo, aunque no es de los peores. El resto está muy bien para pasar unos días.

Dal check in totalmente autonomo e con tutte le indicazioni esemplificative fino ad arrivare al check out. C’era una Casa con ogni suo comfort ed un gentile Aperitivo di Benvenuto ad accoglierci. Nulla in particolare. Il problema del parcheggio attorno alle Mura urbane è un aspetto che chi conosce Lucca sa come bypassare!

Comfortable, clean and great apartment for our long weekend break. We arrived late in the evening and amazing host messaged to say lights were on for us and set the temperature (bottle of wine was very much appreciated on our arrival!). So easy to communicate with and lots of useful information provided to help enjoy our stay. Thank you for being a great host and we thoroughly enjoyed staying in your apartment.

• Marg (4/5): Ground floor accommodation in good location, lacks natural light - Washer dryer was great, particularly having dryer option as little natural light in the apartment. Location good with short stroll to restaurants and attractions. Having 2 bathrooms. On ground level so no stairs. Dark apartment with few windows, very little natural light. Certainly “cosy”, not much space in main bedroom and bed was short for a tall person. Didnot meet the owner at all, lots of communication though which felt terse. E.g. no loud noise or “cackling” at night, police station is nearby! And requested not to give rating below 5/5. Rating system is to help other travellers be informed about the property, not for the owner to fudge the system to get custom, in my opinion.

The main bed was comfy due to the foam topper. We appreciated the opportunity to use the washer/dryer and the kitchen. The bottle of wine was a nice touch! Please consider adding one or two softer bed pillows for those of us who don't like to sleep on a firm pillow. ☺️

Great apartment and base for exploring Lucca and beyond. - As we were arriving in Lucca after 11pm, it was essential we could have a self service late check in, a common request in many locations, but strangely difficult to find in Lucca. For us, check in was ideal at Cozybricks. This lovely 2 bedroom apartment in the centre of Lucca and it was perfect for all of our needs. Great location and great kitchen facilities, which we used only at breakfast as we ate out, but would have easily been able to make a proper meal if we'd wanted to. Having aircon in every room was a bonus and welcome on the 3rd, and warmest night of our trip. Communications with the Host, Marco, were also excellent throughout. Lack of storage place for our clothes for 3 days. Only wardrobe in main bedroom was old and a little musty smelling (albeit fine to use) but there were no drawers in either bedroom which did not already have items stored in them. The thing we disliked the most, by a considerable amount, however, was having to leave to come home. Wish we could have stayed for longer

Quan vam rebre la informació de l'amfitrió sobre com entrar, ens va recomanar les possibilitats d'aparcament (pagant i gratuït) més pròximes a la casa.

• Praminthra (10/5): Brilliant - Great position. Not too central so noisy but easy to walk to from the station then anywhere in LUCCA. It’s a really old building the a listing so don’t expect a really modern looking apartment but it certainly s piece of history and great to stay in. Had everything we needed for the weekend. Spacious. Cool. The communication with Marco was brilliant and immediate. That really helps with reassurance but also advice re where to go etc. Could not have been easier to arrive at LUCCA after a flight to Pisa and be in the apartment within 1.5 hrs. Some aspects are outdated but the shell and interior can’t be changed and the decor fits. Definitely didn’t detract from our stay.

• David (9/5): Amazing stay in Lucca - The host was very quick to answer questions and even allowed us to check in early. The bottle of sparkling wine which was left was well received especially as we were celebrating a birthday during our stay. The apartment was spacious and very historic which was apt seen as it is situated in a good location within the city walls. There is air conditioning throughout the apartment which was particularly nice due to the unseasonable high temperatures which were present during our stay in Lucca. There are many nice restaurants located within walking distance of the apartment. There are also two supermarkets and independent shops selling local produce located nearby. The railway station is a 10 to 15 walk away which allows access to other areas of Tuscany. There was some street noise which once you see how historical the building is, could be expected.

Quirky little place, which was explained in the information sheets. I liked the write up about the history of the building and area. Scratchy thin towels. Washing machine difficult to understand, a set of simple instructions in English would be helpful. No mattress protector on the bed, I had to remake the bed. A simple map of the city for the visitor would also have been helpful

No doors on the 2 bedrooms separating them from the adjoining spaces, the dining/kitch and sitting area respectively. There are no conventional windows. And the heating never came on-we were often cold.

• Mords63 (7/5): Good - Liked the location if you were to only use this as a base We were in costbricks1 If you were wanting some place to relax in at the end of the day not some thing I would pick, sofa in the lounge is basically for children and not very comfortable, we found having no doors on the bedrooms a bit strange, mainly the main bedroom which you looked out into the kitchen from, kitchen has no bench space and the "toaster" is under the sink the only place you can use it from, the other thing lacking was on the last day we decided to make breakfast and there is only one cereal bowl, we also basically had no internet the whole time so had to use our own data, I asked the host if they could reboot the router but they didn't want to as they said there was other things using it... hot water , etc. Those things to me should just reconnect automatically, I did a speedtest and it was only about 12Mbps down and not even 1Mbps up so if you had kids who were wanting to use their iPads or similar it would be very difficult, the host did say they would reboot after we left, so hopefully the next person is luckier.

• Andrea (10/5): Thumbs up - The apartment is located inside of, and close to the walls of Lucca. All of the historic centre is within walking distance. Non residents cannot park inside the walls; however, free parking is available outside of the walls (800 m); paid, relatively cheap parking is closer (500 m). Both options are quite good, actually. The apartment itself has a well apointed kitchen, and a washing and drying machine. The bedrooms are good and spacious. Overall, a very comfortable apartment. All was good.

No AIR CONDITIONING only two fans, only one of the two apartment has air con so it was a mistake booking due to unclear listing on the booking.com. The apartment was too hot for the hot summer and airless from late afternoon till early morning (29-30.5C). 2. Poor old window shutter by Lucca standard. Unpleasant dirty courtyard view outside bedroom window and overlooking from all surrounding neighbouring windows once windows are open.

• Mark (10/5): An apartment large enough with all the facilities you need - It was nice and central to a lot of the landmarks in the restaurants, without being too noisy or crowded.
• Michael (10/5): Exceptional - I like old towns and it is a nice and calm place inside the historical center where you are realy close to everything what you want to explore in Lucca. Even if outside is hot weather, being inside the old house walls is very comfortable even without A/C.
• Janice (6/5): The apartment is quiet and convenient, but dark. - The apartment is very quiet and clean. I was not expecting such a dark apartment. I also did not expect a small enclosed space where you can open a portion of the wall to be the “patio.”
• Peter (9/5): Superb - The apartment is authentic old style but in very good shape. The location is very good, since it is within the city wall. We enjoyed our visit very much!! Please consider that you cannot enter the city center with the car (ZTL is closed permanently). This is true for all apartments in Lucca's old city! So you have park your car outside and carry your luggage...

We greatly appreciated our hosts communication with us and his recommendations for incoming guests as we settled in and moved about Lucca. Our host very thoughtfully provided everything his guests would need for a wonderful and comfortable stay. CosyBricks was spotlessly clean and all needs were provided for in terms of kitchen, bedroom, bathrooms and living area. We felt safe and secure at CosyBricks and negotiated Lucca confidently as Cost Bricks is set within the walls of Lucca and close to all points of interest. There was not one thing we didn’t like about Cosy Bricks. It was a FABULOUS place to stay!
• William (10/5): Extremely great location for traveling around Lucca, close to train station and day trips! - large clean facility, enjoyed the large kitchen, washer and dryer and second bathroom. Lippi was an excellent host and responded quickly to our needs. nothing, all good!

• Will (7/5): Convenient location to explore the points of interest of Lucca. - The location was good, only 5 minutes from access to the wall, and the apartment was spacious Most windows did not open and so the apartment was stuffy in weather around 25C. Noisy - the apartment is very close to the recycling bins for the street. Not only do lorries empty the bins every day, but residents will dump waste, especially cans and bottles, into the bins at any time of day or night.
• Janet (8/5): Very enjoyable holiday , great location for exploring Lucca - Location was perfect for getting around the city of Lucca. The apartment is in a quiet street but easily accessible to nearest square . Apartment well equipped and has everything you need for your stay . Double bed very comfortable . I think the two single beds could be more comfortable.
