We’ve been spoiled by Abellona that past couple purple of years. We’ve always booked a regular room and have been bumped up to ocean view! Which was extremely nice, not so this year. We had a parking lot view this year. Slightly noisy with the coming and goings of folks.

• Jocelyn (8/5): Bien mais déçue du prix vu que tout est fermé pour la saison. - Aucun restaurant à l'hôtel ni distributrice de breuvage. Check out un peu trop tôt (10h) comparé à d'autres établissements à proximité (11-12h) check in tard (15h) ailleurs majorité entre 13h et 15h. Vu la basse saison et beaucoup de commerces et restaurants fermés pour la saison, le prix de la chambre était assez dispendieux +225$can. Nous sommes allés ailleurs pour la 2e nuit pour une chambre avec les mêmes critères et une piscine intérieure également pour 170$ can. et un restaurant sur place. Toutefois c'est très propre. Le personnel à l'accueil est assez sec et sans façon même pas un sourire. En général c'est très bien mais plus cher que bien d'autres en hors saison. Acceuil plus souriant. Ajouter des machines distributrices pour plus de facilité d'accès à des breuvages. Ajouter un douche pour pieds à la sortie de la plage près de l'entrée aux chambres.

Stayed for my daughters engagement party at a home they own in old orchard will highly suggest nobody stays in that unit.

Matelas dur, cafetière peu pratique, air climatisée bruyante, prix trop cher.
• Anessa (9/5): We enjoyed being right on the beach and watching the sunrise! We had dinner at Joseph’s by the sea which was right down - I loved the location right on the beach! The room was very clean. Also close to the downtown area and other towns. We had a wonderful time here and enjoyed waking up early for the sunrise on the beach! The only thing that we didn’t like was the coffee pot. We woke up very early every morning and nothing was open downtown. Would have been nice to have a better coffee pot in the room. Other than that, everything was great

• Thomas (9/5): optimales Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis - Lage direkt am Strand und ausreichend Parkplätzen direkt bei der Unterkunft. Super Familienzimmer mit drei Schlafzimmern, Küche, Badezimmer und Toilette. Verschiedene Restaurants in kurzer Distanz. Schöner Sonnenaufgang direkt vor dem Haus zu beobachten da gibt's jetzt wirklich nichts, dass bei diesem Preis zu bemängeln war. Wichtig ist jedoch zu beachten, dass wir ausserhalb der Hauptreisezeit dort waren. Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass während der Hauptreisezeit in den Sommermonaten sehr viel Betrieb herrscht und die Unterkunft dann einiges Lauter (und teurer) sein wird. Der ganze Ort ist sehr auf Tourismus ausgelegt.

• Carol (10/5): This beach is great for walking, nice and flat and you can walk, run, bike for miles. - Able to sit on the porch and see the beach, beautiful and relaxing. We were fortunate enough to be there during a full harvest moon and it was beautiful seeing the orange moon rising and reflecting off the water. Plenty of TV channels to choose from, not like most hotels that give you a couple. Would have been nice to have a freezer in the fridge.

Within walking distances to so many stores and restaurants. Being right on the beach was an awesome treat and the beach was beautifully clean. The second night we were moved to a second floor, corner which had a huge picture window along the side besides the front windows. It was perfect! The more interior room we stayed in was more dated then the second room.

The room was very small to have two queen beds in it. I can't imagine more than two people sharing this room. There was no closet and only a few hooks to hang things on, and a couple of drawers. Tiny shelf over the sink for toiletries, etc. There were not enough places to put your "stuff."

Far enough away from the road to be quiet, but close enough to be able walk to some of the shops and attractions nearby. You can wake up and walk directly onto the beach to watch the sunrise. Wifi is a little slow and there are no beach towels provided.

• James (7/5): Probably a bit better than most motels in the area. - The staff and management are friendly. They keep the place clean. Huge ice machine right by the office. Mini fridge in each room. Decent (small) indoor swimming pool. Broom +dustpan are provided in each room, which comes in handy, since you're right on the beach, and tracking sand in is... inevitable. Rooms overlooking the beach are nice, though they will cost you about $100 extra per night. Like most beachside motels, this place is showing signs of aging. I'll give them credit for making renovations as needed, such as recently painting the balcony railings. The water temperature in the shower is very hard to regulate, and it will sometimes randomly go to cool or very hot on its own. If you want warm water out of the bathroom sink faucet, you may have to let it run for 5 minutes, which is an obscene waste of water. The mini fridge is handy, but it's placed in such a stupid position; depending on the layout of the room (and I'm assuming that adjacent rooms are mirror images of each other in terms of layout if you know what I mean), the door might open facing the rest of the room, or it might open towards the side wall. Our fridge door opened towards the wall, and it wouldn't even open all the way due to the bedside table blocking it. The bedside lamps turn on by touching the lampshade. These lamps were designed by someone with a sick sense of humor. Some of them are so sensitive, you can't even place an item on the nightstand, or even WALK by the nightstand without causing it to start flickering on & off on its own. I told the front desk that I had to unplug the lamp on my side, as it was randomly turning on and off by itself. I had assumed they would come and switch it out for another lamp, but that didn't happen. They do provide a few clothes hangers, but strangely, no bar or hooks to hang them on anywhere in the room. Maybe we were supposed to hang our clothes in the shower. I guess that's what the shower curtain rod is for. I get that this is only a motel, but the itsy-bitsy tiny bars of soap and ketchup packet-sized shampoo packets are of such sh**y quality, I think they were leftover stock from some old warehouse from the 1980s. The price was decent, considering the time of year and the beachfront facing window, with shared balcony. It is likely cheaper than similar motels closer to the center of town.

Never received a courtesy call about that. Housekeeping started knocking an hour before stated checkout time asking us when we were going to leave.
