• Cheryl (5/5): It’s fine for a one night stay due to its convenient location. - The location was ideal for walking around Greenport. It had several lounges for hanging out. The facility was clean, except our room’s floor was very sticky. The bed was very uncomfortable and too low to the floor.

• Colleen (10/5): ZEY Hotel is truly a great experience with beautiful decor, cozy ambience, and fantastic service! - I was here for four days. FANTASTIC! Mike and his team were amazing. Excellent service. Beautiful boutique hotel and an excellent restaurant with the best martinis and great menu with lots of healthy delicious options. Chef came out to chat with all the guests every night to make sure everything was good. I can’t say enough about the bartenders and servers. I’ll be back to see Mike and his team at the ZEY Hotel for sure! Special thank you for a great week everyone!

• Jurgen (4/5): - An awful experience with an owner who does not care. We arrived in the evening for a 1-week stay. At check-in, I mentioned concerns about the air quality as the smell throughout the main parts of the hotel was intense. They brushed it off. After staying one night, we found the condition to cause health problems for me. I suffer from a lot of allerfies. I raised this with reception who called the owner, who blatantly yelled at me for any suggesting any issues. We had booked for 1-week but there was no way I could make it through a week. We went back and forth over next day trying to find a compromise (including offering to pay for half the stay even if we left), but they refused and just said it's non-refundable. And to make things worse, they refused to even try remediate the issue or offer any solution. We left after two nights. Oh, and just to add, the hotel has a live-in cat -- another thing that made me very allergic.

• Patricia (8/5): Pretty on the outside but beware of lack of management. - The facilities, location and space!!! Staff!! Difficult on check in and poor management response. I reserved 2 rooms, different names. My card held the reservation, we each presented cards upon check in and explained billing would be separate. There was no bill to review upon checkout, I was told there was no need. I was charged for both rooms - 2 nights, my friend was charged for her room also. Clearly an overcharge. I emailed management thru booking.com - it’s been a week and have zero response!

The room was quite small for the price, but the overall atmosphere and location made up for it.

The staff were so accommodating and friendly. It had a very warm ambiance. Both bathrooms in common areas were out of order.

The pastry shop was a bonus to have our morning coffee. The garden area can use some sprucing up and the deck outside the bedrooms needs to be repaired.

• Edmund (1/5): To sume of the stay, it was horrible. - Location was great I didn’t like the fact that there was a large dog and a small dog above us. barking in the middle of the night, scratching the floor playing with a bone the whole entire night could not sleep. I notified the front desk along with sending a message at 5 AM in the morning to the manager. The problem I have is when I walk down the stairs the person at the front desk pointed me out to the family that was above me and said this is person who was complaining about them. and we have to charge you for the dog and put me in a bad situation. I tried to contact the manager Michael, but he did not respond to me. They took $100 off to stay, but that is nothing we did not sleep one minute and put in a bad situation.
• Kathryn (9/5): Would stay again! - Eclectic, great location, comfortable. The staff were amazing and made us feel so welcomed. Rooms are beautiful but some minor repairs seem to be needed. Our toilet was difficult to flush due to a rusty chain and the air conditioner made a noise throughout the night.

• Helen (10/5): A charming and affordable gem in Greenport - It is such a lovely hotel, beautiful interior, clean and pleasant, absolutely loved the design and the furnishings. I also loved the prime location right in the heart of Greenport cafe scene. I can’t wait to return in warmer weather to enjoy the beautiful outdoor amenities such as a garden and terrace in the hotel. I totally recommend it to anyone visiting NOFO and the wineries. I’m so happy to have discovered this lovely hotel in Greenport, which will hopefully become our go to place to spend the weekend. There nothing I didn’t like.

We only stayed for one night, but the place was nice enough that we would have enjoyed a longer stay. The bathroom colour choice was a little odd, but it was clean, so everything was great.

The bathroom sinks were tiny. No space for toothbrush toothpaste or soap. The bed was huge and not much space to walk around room. No closet. But we love Greenport.

The tiles in the bathroom were stained, leaking in shower, bedroom was cold during the day, a Cat is in the premises, thin wall's you could hear people’s conversations, no one at reception and number available to call goes to vm. Not worth the price I paid, The day before I had stayed at the Beech hotel for less and 10/10 experience.

• Linda (10/5): Absolutely unique, quirky place to be. - OMG Mia was fantastic from check in to check out. Nothing was too much trouble, she was the perfect host and whatever she is paid - isn’t enough!! She went above and beyond and made us feel so welcome it was exceptional. Room was superb, so many chill out spaces were a brilliant asset to comfortably sit and read our books due to rainy/cloudy weather. The location is like Mia, second to none!! Some reviews suggest it being dated - I think they themselves are the ones who are dated, as the place is designed and styled to be retro, quirky, individual and stylish, it’s a shame this unique property isn’t given the applause it deserves. Nothing!

This is a hotel was so great. Funky and elegant decor. We loved all the different lounge rooms with all their art. Mia played nice cheery music. The bakery/coffee shop was so quaint cappuccino was so yummy. I had decaf, Mia was the sweetest host and utmost professional. Every hotel should have the day manager park was private behind hotel the garden lounge area as well. The terrace outside our room was old and needed the boards replaced

Needed paint outside and the deck needs to be fixed and stained. Water damage on floor by deck door. And also needed some landscaping by patio and power wash the umbrellas.
