Frank (8/5): A wonderful villa with beautiful views. - Magnificent views over 270 degrees. Beautifully manicured gardens. Great on-site kitchen hosting. Karoake equipment. Bath in one bathroom had a too small boiler/geyser to use. Otherwise showers were great in the other bathrooms.
Mohammed (1/5): Not worth your money - It's the worst ever accommodation booked in Sri Lanka. The route to the bungalow is very tight and dirty and can't be reached unless you have a small car and no service provided for luggage transfer. The bungalow is with no privacy. The staff kept entering the public area, including the kitchen and sitting room without any permission. It was mentioned in our booking that we have a kitchen including an oven, a fridge and other kit, but in the checkout, they charged us an extra 2500lkr/day for using the kitchen. Even though we tried to talk to the man in charge about the terms and conditions mentioned on the website, he said the website is wrong. As will there was lots of electricity cut off so that we spent long times without electricity.

Verified traveler (10/5): A Memorable Three Days Above the Clouds - We spent three wonderful days in Haputale enjoying the beautiful views of the tea fields and the clouds. The Clouds Holiday Bungalow is a spacious, cozy house with four rooms, including a living room where we read, drank tea, played the piano and enjoyed the views in the afternoon. The owner provided us with homecooked meals for breakfast and dinner, which were some of the best food we had in Sri Lanka, and helped negotiate a fair price for the car we hired to take us to Galle. We certainly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back sometime.
Jan (6/5): Surrounded by mist - Up a very narrow road from Haputale, at the end of the road and surrounded by mist lies this tiny guest house with four rooms. We were the only guests the first night so it was very quiet. On a clear hour, the view is lovely, but most of the time we were surrounded by mystical mist--hence the appropriate name. The caretakers spoke very little English, were very friendly, but had not cleaned the room very well since the last guests. We had to ask for soap. Twice I was asked about payment, and both times I showed documentation that I had already paid. There was a wardrobe with a few hangers and an old-style small safe. The bed was OK. You can walk about one km to the nearest restaurant and cafe. Breakfast is served on the premises. The garden is lovely!
