• Sophie (8/5): Tæt på strand og hyggeligt - Personalet var søde og imødekommende. Hotellet lå meget tæt på stranden, lige ved restauranter og byliv, men lidt tilbagetrukken fra vejen. Det eneste minus var at det var lidt slidt, men det havde ikke nogen betydning for mig.

• Elizabeth (8/5): Great welcome to Sri Lanka, just the relaxing start I needed 😊 - I had booked many before this as was undecided but this was a last minute decision to go with Suite 262, the pool did it 😀 and very happy I was. The guys in reception when I arrived late after a long day travelling were very welcoming and helpful. My room was spacious and clean with all I needed, including a pool view balcony and a TV (which they came and sorted out for me), not that had time to watch. It is in a perfect location across the road from a nice beach bar and walking distance to plenty of restaurants and all you need. It was a real winner to come back to a beautifully lit relaxing pool at the end of day for a dip before dinner. I stayed 4 nights as was waiting to meet friends before seeing Sri Lanka. I would recommend this as a lovely calm smooth place to decompress from flights and start an adventure. All staff and the owner were lovely, friendly and helpful with info snd organising. Whilst there they arranged a pick up to take me for a massage at beautiful Jasmine Villa Spa and a Lagoon Sunset Boat trip. If I find myself in Negombo again, I only hope they have a room spare for me. More toilet paper left if a service had been done in rhe room over the 4 days. But minor as there was always someone around to ask. Bathroom a little dated and needed a shower/bathmat but all in working order

• Jan (10/5): Aanrader! - Het personeel is bijzonder aardig en behulpzaam, en maken bovendien echt contact met je. Beste wat ik na 9 hotels in Sri Lanka heb meegemaakt. Ontbijt is heerlijk! Helaas had mijn kamer last van achterstallig onderhoud (vloerplanken opgetrokken door vocht en van plafond in de badkamer bladderde verf naar beneden) en het beddegoed vertoonde sporen van slijtage waardoor het niet zo schoon lijkt.. Het bed zelf was comfortabel en de airco werkte gelukkig prima.
• simon (9/5): Great stay - Bright, clean, staff welcoming and helpful. Slightly set back from the main road, which meant noise was not a problem. The pool was refreshing and the seating around it was good as it allowed conversation between guests, which enhanced our one night stay. Lots of local restaurants and good stretch of beach, with great sunset. We used it as a one night before our return home after a 2 week holiday, whereas others were here for a week - would definitely recommend No breakfast on site, but this really wasn’t a problem as so much close by.

• Tharindu (10/5): - I stayed here for 8 days during my vacation, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms and a nice, clean pool. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the owner was genuinely welcoming and accommodating. The location is also great, close to everything you need but still peaceful and relaxing. Overall, a perfect place to unwind in Negombo. Highly recommended!

• scubacol11 (6/5): clean and basic. - This hotel was not my choice, got transferred here after booking error at another hotel. The hotel is in a very good location just set back from the main road close to the beach with plenty of restaurants and shops close by. The staff were very friendly and helpful and recommended good restaurants, the room was basic and clean, but the laminate flooring was badly damaged due to water from the air con unit, the swimming pool was nice and clean and great to chill in after a hot day sightseeing. Breakfast was basic but adequate and enough to start the day, don't think we would return on another trip.

The room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the pool. The pool was most refreshing. As a bonus there was an excellent restaurant just over the road.

• Rosemary (8/5): I would stay here again. - Conveniently located close to lots of restaurants and beach access is across the street and down a short path. The hotel is set back from the main road so it is quiet. Pool was smallish but adequate for cooling off. Rooms were a good size and clean, Shower was hot and had good water pressure. Staff were all very nice. Nothing major. There were chairs around the pool but not reclining chairs.

To make matters worse, they don’t even have a computer; they log your information manually with handwriting like it’s the Stone Age. It’s absurdly far from CMB airport. This was a total SCAM. AVOID this place at all costs!”

Having stayed in 7 other hotels in Sri Lanka it’s hard to find a decent shower with water pressure and warmth… this had it!

• Verified traveler (6/5): Reasonably priced Hotel 100m from the beach - The first room assigned to me had non-functioning A/C so the owner kindly moved me into the adjacent room which had a working A/C, but a leaky toilet. It was a nice main floor room opening onto the pool with 11' ceilings and a refrigerator.

• KAZUYOSHI (8/5): - Many tourists recommend this hotel when arriving at midnight. After booking, I sent a message my arrival time in advance. However, a staff was sleeping at lobby and the room was very dark. It was one of reason we couldn’t find this hotel in midnight. The room was very simple and no problems to use. The manager and staff we met are very kindly.

• Viranthi (5/5): Passable - The convenient location and assistance of the staff The property needs regular maintenance. Several shortcomings. Floor was cracked, AC did not work properly, walls were dirty, the additional bed was uncomfortable.
• K3719DIdianar (6/5): Clean rooms - The rooms were very clean, bed very confortable, clean bathroom, staff was very nice, breakfast was simple but tasty. However thr hotel is used, they should change the bed linen. Even if it was clean and fresh it was too used and had stins on it. We only staid there for a few hours so we it server its purpose for us. But if I would have staid there longer this would have been an issue.

• Verified traveler (6/5): ok for an airport stay - A decent, basic hotel in a good location, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Rooms were a nice size. They do an ok breakfast, and have a kettle in the room with tea and coffee. Shower was good and plenty of hot water. Staff were friendly. Great tuk tuk drivers just outside. Downside was no pool loungers. I booked this place as a chill out at the start of my trip but there was only one broken sun lounger so I couldn’t relax by the pool and had to either go to the beach or pay another hotel to use their pool. I wouldn’t have booked this one if I’d have known Also they didn’t clean the room the 4 nights I was there even though I asked.

Only one sunbed so had to use the mattress on the grass . The railings on the balcony had big gaps so if you visit with children please book the ground floor

On our last night of 3 the air conditioning had broken and we got moved rooms straight away which was very good service. Nothing all was good.

However, I asked for a quiet room and, although the hotel is set back from the road, the room I was given at the front of the hotel still had road noise. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach. Doesn't accept credit cards and there was a service fee added on top of what the Booking.com website had said was the total price.

There are also some good restaurants right by the hotel, such as See View, which is across the street. There are also some small shops in the area. There is nothing that was not good. We stayed here for 27 nights and couldn't have had a better time
