• Thomas (7/5): Bien mais pourrait mieux faire - Bon petit déjeuné même si manque un peu de variété. Emplacement en périphérie du centre historique, donnant sur une rue avec un certains trafic donc bruit constant. L’isolation (bruits de pas venant du dessus, bruits extérieurs de voitures et passants). Chambre assez bien même si manque un peu d’espace, aération limitée et surprenant mais des fourmis dans la chambre.

Le petit déjeuner est copieux, chambre très propre et personnel très agréable qui nous renseigne parfaitement dans différentes langues étrangères. Différents restaurants et glacier à proximité de très bonne qualité. Le prix au rooftop sur le toit de l'hôtel très cher : 42 euros pour 2 bières et 2 spritz et en plus pas de reçu donné par le serveur.

• 307Tone (8/5): Nice Hotel in a good location - We stayed at the Guardian for my birthday and the location was good, the hotel is clean and the staff were helpful whenever we needed advice or assistance. we were allocated a room in the annex which was a nice room with a enclosed balcony however this housed the air con/ventilation units for what I can only assume was the bar/kitchen area, it was very noisy and until the early hours of the morning, if you wanted an early night you needed air ear defenders! The only other issue we had was the bath mixer had broken and it was impossible to fill the bath tub as we could not change from bath to shower, this was disappointing as anyone who has visited Rome knows that there is lots of walking and our tired legs would of liked a soak! With those two issues taken into account we enjoyed our stay at at The Guardian, breakfast was good but does get rather busy and congested, the staff on at breakfast dealt with this professionally without drama.

The area is very quiet so very minimal outside noise when you're trying to sleep at night. Very helpful front desk staff. Variation in breakfast foods would be nice, the food was pretty much the same for all 4 days we were there.

• 568emmaa (10/5): Great service - Me and my daughter have just returned from a 4 night stay at The Guardian Hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here all the staff are extremely professional, friendly and helpful. Location is great we were able to walk to 3 museums within 10 minutes, walk 30 minutes to Collosseum, trevi fountain and art gallerys. For anything further metro station a 5min walk from hotel. We loved the roof top bar after exploring all day it was lovely to return and enjoy delicious cocktails, while over looking the beautiful views of Rome. Room was perfect for us clean with fresh towels every day. Would definetely stay here again in the future.

• 669niallg (10/5): 9.5/10 - The staff are friendly, helpful, and speak good English, which made everything easy for us. The rooms are very clean and tidy. They’re not especially large, but they have everything you need. The bed is on the firmer side (pretty typical in Europe), but after a lot of walking each day, we slept really well. It’s also a generous king size. The bathroom is clean and well-equipped. The shower is a bit on the smaller side, but still perfectly usable. The only downside we found was that the TV didn’t work. The highlight, though, is definitely the breakfast. There’s a great selection ranging from pastries and fruit to scrambled eggs. Everything is fresh and good quality, and with so much choice, it’s a great start to the day. Even better, it’s included in the price. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.
• 64jemmat (2/5): Not for families - Chaotic, tiny hotel that is not family friendly. When we arrived to check in there were people and suitcases crammed everywhere. Very unpleasant first impression. Not enough space for the amount of guests. The room we stayed in smelled so so bad and when we addressed this with staff, we were greeted with a hostile response. Lift is tiny (you can fit one person with a suitcase) and didn't seemed to work most of the time, so impossible to use as a family. Surprised at the "good location" reviews, as we couldn't find anywhere local to go for lunch nearby. The surrounding area has nothing to do or see. This is not a good location for small children. Staff are rude. And hotel is not 4 stars.

• FJP111 (10/5): Great hotel in a good location - Modern, attractive hotel in a good location! We stayed at the Guardian Hotel for three nights in a family suite. The room was clean and well presented and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was also modern, although the shower was not ideal due to the head being placed in the corner. Breakfast was typical continental with a good selection for the family. The hotel staff were professional and helpful, especially the barman at the sixth floor outside bar who made our kids feel very welcome. The location is ideal for walking into the centre of the city but also close to both the metro and train station. It also felt safe at night with a handful of local restaurants close by. All in a very nice stay and we would return.

Breakfast is very good, with a nice selection. We were on a road facing room on the 2nd floor and it was very noisy with road noise. The air conditioning was very loud and ineffective, which meant we had to have the window open. This meant we were further subjected to the noise.

There are several great restaurants in walking distance. There is a little market in walking distance. Hotel is very very clean, modern, and staffed with excellent people.

• Sightsee48005 (10/5): Excellent family hotel - We had a great 5 night stay at the Guardian Hotel. Comfortable room for our family of 4. Modern feel. Excellent breakfast options, warm and cold, even options for my family with food allergies. Metro stations close by and plenty of excellent restaurants within minutes from the hotel. Just watch out using the safe, the heavy lid injured my finger.

• Véronique (9/5): Je reviendrai avec plaisir :) - J'ai beaucoup aimé cet hôtel très bien situé et à proximité de mon lieu d'activité, dans un quartier animé. La chambre était très calme et lumineuse, confortable et spacieuse, avec de gentilles attentions sous forme de boissons et snacks. La vue sur le parc était très reposante. J'ai adoré le petit déjeuner, l'extrême gentillesse du personnel ( en particulier Magdalena), avec une mention spéciale pour le personnel de la réception qui m'a beaucoup aidée. La cerise sur le gateau, c'était le magnifique bar avec rooftop avec une vue exclusive sur l'horizon. Comme souvent dans les chambres d'hôtel, j'aurais aimé plus de possibilités pour poser les affaires dans la salle de bain, qui par ailleurs était très bien.

This was by far the best stay due to the location, amenities in and around the hotel and the on site hospitality. Not too long a walk into the centre and the main sites. We did have a few minor issues on arrival but they were resolved very quickly. All the staff were so friendly - especially bar/restaurant/breakfast staff and those on front desk. Opposite British Embassy - nice, safe location and not too "touristy". Would definitely stay again.

Frühstück war vielfälltig und somit konnte mann sich sehr gut für den Tag stärken. unser Zimmer war groß Sauber und die Betten gemütlich. was ich vlt anmerken kann ist das die Zimmer sehr hellhörig sind wir waren im 5. With friendly and informative reception staff, who were happy to provide assistance. The rooms were excellent. Clean and modern. Very comfy bed. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Great quality. Staff were lovely. The bonus for us was the fantastic rooftop bar. It was a great way to end busy sightseeing days. We loved the relaxed and calm atmosphere. Just brilliant. Highly recommended this hotel. We will be back!

• 37niccol_c (8/5): Excellent Staff and Breakfast, Room Could Be Improved - I was very impressed by the staff: everyone was extremely kind and efficient, both at the reception and—most of all—during breakfast. Their professionalism and friendliness truly enhanced my stay. The breakfast itself was complete, varied, and of good quality, which I really appreciated. The room itself was clean and functional, but a bit basic in terms of accessories. Unfortunately, the smell in the room was not very pleasant, which affected comfort. Another downside was the location of the room: it was on the first floor, at the back of the building, with a completely obscured view, resulting in very little natural light. Overall, the outstanding staff made a positive difference, but the room conditions and exposure leave room for improvement.

Very comfortable bed, great towels and the room set up gave lots of storage. Didn't use kettle or mini bar. The lift to rooms was great. The roof top bar was lovely, only had one drink there but it would be great if weather good. There is shaded areas too. Breakfast was fab, so many choices, was busy at peak times but hotel was busy as this was a 6 nations rugby wkd! Lots of lovely choices and really good croissants and Nutella! Would definitely book here again.

My friend& I stayed for 3 nights and we had a very pleasant stay there. The staff were incredible, especially Enrico, the receptionist. Nothing was too much of a trouble, very friendly& very helpful. He went above and beyond with whatever we needed. Enrico pointed us towards the best Italian restaurant which served a delicious Italian food! He was very helpful with the directions for Metro and all the main attractions. Grazie Enrico! Breakfast at the hotel was simply bonissimo! Best hot chocolate ever! Again, the restaurant staff very friendly! We are sure to be back in Rome in not too long and will definitely be booking our stay there again! Grazie!

• Nagy (9/5): - Kedves, segítőkész személyzet, finom, változatos reggelik. A szobában és a fürdőszobában jó lenne több pakoló felület. Mi egy háromágyas szobában voltunk, ahol az éjjeli szekrény helyett csak pici asztalok voltak két ágy mellett, a harmadik ágy mellett pedig egy darab szék. A fürdőben sem volt polc, ahova a fogkeféket és egyebeket rakni lehetett volna. Egyebekben minden rendben volt.

Resepsiyondadaki arkadaş Antonio yol tarifi için otelin dışına çıkıp bizimle 50 metre kadar yürüdü. Genel olarak eşim ve üç çocuğumuzla birlikte aile odasında kaldık kesinlikle tavsiye ederiz. O da gerçekten çok sıcaktı klimalar ve dış çalıştı biz klimayı kapatıp gece camı aralamak durumunda kaldık Terlik olmayışı

• Curiosity71878 (10/5): Welcoming clean hotel - We stayed 3 nights in The Guardian Hotel. We had lovely time staff very friendly and polite and made you feel welcome. Had breakfast included. Breakfast was tasty and so well presented and fresh and hot. Scrambled egg, bacon, sausages, grilled tomatoeetc. Fresh yogurt and fruit, croissant's,pancakes waffles. Location excellent. Bedroom plus ensuite spotless. Cleaners came everyday and also very cheerful. Would stay again.

Si sono anche ricordati che non posso mangiare glutine ed al mattino mi hanno offerto dei prodotti adeguati. • johnBoston_MA (10/5): Great one-night stay. - Booked for us by British Air after a cancelled flight. We arrived late and left early the next morning. Excellent room, and a quiet restful night. Very good breakfast. Conveniently close to Termini rail station. Friendly and helpful staff.

• Sonny_Life (8/5): Great service! - A great deal was obtained 3 months before travelling. We arrived and the initial room was small and we had some noise from the restaurant below. The hotel kindly moved our room and from then the stay was perfect. Rooms are boiling with the heating so despite staying in January we had the window open. The hardest working breakfast staff tidied away the excellent breakfast as soon as you finished your last mouthful. Location a good 20-30min walk away from main attractions.
