Perfect sport with great views from every room, whether it be the Statue of Liberty, Downtown Manhattan, or the Brooklyn Bridge. Also - the food is to die for. Barbuto is the main dining room, fantastic for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Really creative recipes. On top of the hotel is the outdoor Harriet's, which beside being one of the the hottest club scenes in the city also offers sensation small plates and meals. And a panoramic view of course. And finally the staff is sensational. Celina was a wondering hostess in the lobby who was there to help anyone. Check in was super and Tiffany was great at the desk. And so was Tarrin at breakfast, just to name a few. But they were all great. Rooms very well appointed.

I flew over from the UK to catch up with dear friends, and we chose to stay at this wonderful hotel so we could enjoy some special, child-free time together. The location is fantastic—perfectly placed for exploring and soaking up the atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly staff. As we were a little early, we dropped our bags and spent some time chatting with the team, who happily shared great recommendations for local places to eat. The whole atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming, and the hotel itself looked fresh, modern, and beautifully presented. Our room was absolutely amazing, with stunning views overlooking the Hudson and the Brooklyn Bridge. To make it even more special, the hotel surprised us with champagne and a lovely message wishing us a wonderful time together as friends—such a thoughtful touch! The hotel was wonderfully peaceful, and our room/suite was spotless, stylish, and completely worth the price. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy our catch-up. The next morning we treated ourselves to a gorgeous brunch in the hotel restaurant, which I’m told is well-known not only within the hotel but across Manhattan. The food was fantastic, and the service throughout brunch was impeccable. Every member of staff we encountered was truly first class. - nataliefN1129DK (10/5): Absolutely love 1 Hotel - I’ve now stayed at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge twice within the past year, both during winter visits with my girlfriends and it has easily become one of my favorite hotels in New York. The location is absolutely unbeatable, with breathtaking views of the NYC skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge right outside your window. It’s also perfectly located within walking distance to so many great bars, restaurants, and coffee shops, which makes exploring the neighborhood incredibly easy. From the moment you walk through the doors, the hotel smells amazing and instantly feels calm and welcoming. The design is one of my favorite things about the property—beautifully natural and rustic, with greenery and plants throughout the entire hotel. Even the guest rooms have real plants, which makes the space feel fresh and relaxing. What truly makes the experience stand out is the staff. Everyone is incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely accommodating, which makes you feel very well taken care of during your stay. The restaurant is also fantastic—the food is delicious and a perfect addition to the overall experience. If you’re looking for a hotel that feels like a peaceful, nature-inspired retreat while still being in the heart of Brooklyn with incredible views of Manhattan, this is the place. I would absolutely stay here again.
- bethnbooks (10/5): A little gem in Brooklyn! - What a stunning hotel! We needed to stay in Brooklyn for a wedding and this hotel was the perfect mix of luxury, convenience, and relaxation. The views are simply outstanding -- we booked a Brooklyn Bridge view and it was worth every penny for the time we stood there just staring at the scenery! The hotel is very lush with lots of plants, seating areas, fresh fruit, and a cute little cafe that serves coffee, breakfast, snacks, beer, cocktails, etc. Guests can enjoy a free glass of wine during happy hour daily from 4-5pm. Their cookies alone make me want to go back! The room was lovely, although the bathroom arrangement is difficult for two people to get ready at once, and there is zero privacy when it comes to using the bathroom -- there is a glass door but no soundproofing and a visible gap along the side, so hopefully you aren't bashful with your partner. The shower was great with steamy temperatures and a powerful overhead showerhead. The bed was comfy, although some firmer pillows would have been nice. The BEST feature was the water dispenser option in the room! I don't even like water but I kept drinking it because I loved the feature. I've seen mixed reviews here about the staff, and I can only say that every employee we encountered was top-notch outstanding. On our first night we borrowed umbrellas and upon our return were treated to a free bottle of prosecco for actually returning the umbrellas (I guess they tend to walk away!). The front desk staff were very attentive and thoughtful. The hotel does offer complimentary Audi car service within a 3 mile radius which is an amazing perk, but organizing the car is a bit confusing as it's first come first serve, and the staff don't always seem to be in communication about who is waiting for the car and who was there first. But just a small hiccup -- we were able to get a ride to our wedding nearby and it was so helpful. Overall I think this hotel was a perfect place to stay -- we could walk over to Manhattan but then return to quaint Brooklyn with its tasty restaurants, cute shops, and charming streets. I only wish we had been there in summer so we could have experienced the pool!

From the moment we arrived, the friendly door staff and the lobby’s incredible signature aroma made us feel instantly relaxed. Check-in was a breeze, and the staff was so helpful—they even pointed us toward the "Wine Down" at Neighbor’s Cafe for complimentary glasses of wine! Our room was a total dream, featuring a cozy vibe, a super comfortable bed, and an unbeatable view of the Brooklyn Bridge. We loved being able to open the sliding door to take in that fresh Brooklyn air. Dinner at the on-site Barbuto Restaurant was excellent (separate review coming soon!), and when we were looking for a late-night spot after Harriet's Lounge, the front desk sent us to the BIC—another fantastic recommendation! From the rainfall shower and plush robes to the top-tier service, every detail was perfect. We had an incredible experience and will definitely be back!

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, cared for, and genuinely celebrated by the entire staff. The highlight of our stay was absolutely the concierge desk—Adora and Selena. Adora went above and beyond in every possible way. Before we even arrived, she helped arrange for a chilled bottle of champagne waiting in our room, which was such a thoughtful and romantic touch. After a long day of travel, walking into that surprise set the tone for the entire trip. Throughout our stay, Adora was incredibly attentive and proactive. She recommended some of the best restaurants in town and handled all the reservations for us seamlessly. It made planning completely stress-free, which is exactly what you want on your honeymoon. She also assisted with arranging the shuttle service and gave us personalized suggestions for each day. Every time we stopped by the concierge desk, she greeted us with a smile and asked about our plans, always ready with another great suggestion or helpful tip. Highly recommend for anyone celebrating a special occasion!

Večer kolem 20hod. Není možné si v hotelu koupit kávu a recepce nám ani nedoporučila, kam jít.

The room was so minimalistic, yet inviting… I wanted to just stay in the room and sleep and look out at Manhattan. Eating in the restaurant was so wonderful too. The food was so tasty..All of the common areas were very clean and so green!! The noise level was right on point… I’d love to make special mention about Dariana. She was at the front desk when we walked in and she could not have been more welcoming. Such a great aura and so refreshingly friendly. This is how you should be greeted as a guest enters a place of this caliber. Honestly speaking, she made us want to come back again and that speaks volumes.

- Anastasiia (1/5): Disappointing - This hotel unfortunately spoiled our New Year’s Eve. The room was extremely noisy. We could hear conversations from people near the doors, loud music from the party, and constant noise from the water pipes. It was very difficult to rest. There is no designated drop-off area in front of the hotel due to “no parking” signs. The hotel-recommended parking garage tried to charge us $40 just for a 15 minutes drop-off. As a result, we had to park further away, and I had to carry two heavy suitcases to the hotel lobby by myself while my husband was returning the rental car. The New Year’s Eve fireworks view from the hotel was mediocre and much farther away than expected. The food at the hotel restaurant was overpriced and not tasty at all. At the end of our stay, we spoke with the hotel manager about these issues. The manager approved a partial refund, but at the moment we still didn’t get anything. We contacted Booking.com to process the refund as the hotel manager asked us to do, and Booking.com says they still didn’t receive any confirmation about the refund from the hotel. Overall, the hotel does not justify its high price. There are much better options available for the same cost.

- Mikołaj (1/5): Hotel organizes DJ parties right above your room - Perfect location and nice facilities. Clean and well designed rooms. Unfortunately this hotel organizes electronic music DJ parties every Thursday through Saturday. The club is located on the top floor of the hotel, right above rooms. We were not informed about it in advance. We stayed in room 708, and we heard very, very loud music. We were not able to sleep so was not our 9-month-old baby. I called the front office multiple times, and was told that "they will talk to the DJ". This did not help at all. Music was supposed to stop at 2AM, but it did not, and I had to call again, and finally it stopped around 2.30AM. I don't have anything against parties, but I truly can't understand how one can charge over 1000 per night, and casually withdraw the information that guests will not be able to sleep until the morning. It just goes beyond the comprehension and is very sad.

- Eriklive123 (10/5): Best Service I've ever had - After having difficulty finding availability in the city for a large group, I was able to get in contact with the manager Ahmed who was not only able to accommodate all the rooms needed, but also the specific rooms we required. Ahmed went above and beyond for us from the moment we made the reservations, until we checked out. The service was great and the rooms were perfect. I will be coming back!

The staff is really what sets them apart tho. Dariana and Brian at the front desk made our trip extra special. Dariana sent up prosecco and macaroons because she knew we were celebrating my 40th birthday and she was so sweet. Brian was unbelievably friendly accomodating and really went above and beyond. You can tell he takes pride in what he does and really cares. This hotel is very lucky to have him as an employee. We will definitely return in the spring. Overall great experience.

- calipepper (4/5): Bad design ruins the stay - Amazing view facing the East River but the room was very frustrating. A poorly designed room. Instead of a desk, there was a small cafe table that was too tall for the built in bench. The bathroom is OPEN TO THE ROOM. the toilet is in a frosted stall that doesn't seal well. The shower door is not frosted. There was a partial wall where the sink is but doesn't go all the way across. Who wants to feel like they are in the bathroom while someone else is in it even if it's your spouse? Complete fail in design. They did have a nice area in the lobby for working but the chairs were too short at the tables making working uncomfortable. Function can also by stylish but the design team failed yet again. For a hotel at this price point, I would never stay here again. I would visit the speakeasy type lounge on the top floor. Good food and amazing views.
