• Samuel (10/5): Very happy with my stay at B&B 248. - Great stay and great price for the location, central Naples right next to the main metro. Nunzia was amazing, a nice person and made sure everything was ok when I met her. The bedrooms were cleaned daily beds made and fresh towels. Very happy with my stay here and will recommend to others travelling to Naples.

• Adam (6/5): - Staff was very helpful. I left my phone in the cab and Nunzia helped me get in touch with the driver to locate it. No staff was available at the desk any of the days with the exception of checkin. I was able to get in touch with Nunzia through WhatsApp in locating restaurants. We were not told however how to get our breakfast. I could have asked but I just assumed it would be in the B&B. After reading another review, evidently it was at a cafe nearby. I wish we would have been told this, but this could have been left out due to the phone issue. Perhaps instructions could be left in the room like other B&Bs similar to the rules that were posted on the door in the room. The room was clean, and cleaned daily. The shower is small, but consistent with some other properties I’ve stayed at in Italy. The biggest problem we had was with the noise. The A/C made so much noise during the night every time it turned on. That combined with the street noise all night long, did not allow us to get much sleep. The TV did not work so that made the sleepless night even more difficult. The hotel is very close to many good restaurants and transportation. It was easy to access the train terminal at the end of our stay.
• Esther (6/5): - The location was superb, very close to central station (around 8mins) and 30min walk from Spanish quarter. Staff were lovely, they were welcoming and had excellent communication. Unfortunately the traffic noise was the letdown of this stay. If you’re a light sleeper, I would look elsewhere as I didn’t get much sleep because of the noise. The traffic is constant, with sirens blaring quite often. Apart from that, a great stay.
• Bryan (8/5): - Excellent to get a room (Room 2) that actually looks exactly like the photos on the listing! Super clean, furnished just right. Big bed, although mattress could probably do with being replaced, as it’s beginning to show its age. Air con a bonus. Small but adequate shower with constant hot water and terrific water pressure. On a noisy street, but earplugs shut it all out, along with closing shutters at night. Breakfast option needs to be rethought. Pictures suggest a lovely spread of all kinds of things to eat in the accommodation. Instead, a voucher is given to exchange at a café situated on the main road a couple of minutes away, for a coffee and croissant. And that’s it. Had I known, I still would have stayed here, but not paid for the breakfast option. Much nicer cafés directly below b&b248. Overall, I very much enjoyed staying here, and would happily return if the issues surrounding the mattress and breakfast were addressed.

• Glennie (8/5): Ercolano Scavi / Pompei Scavi trip - Not much to tell you. I visited the ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum. I needed a place to put my head. It was ok. Not a bad place. Good host; she was nice to me.
• Katherine (8/5): Easy checkin, helpful staff, clean and comfortable - I was a little worried about my stay in Naples as it was my first time travelling solo. However the lady who runs the hotel was very helpful and friendly and helped me check in automatically without any problems at all. My room overlooked the Main Street and there was a lot of traffic noise from the busy street below but the room itself was very clean and well presented and I felt safe and able to leave my belongings whilst I explored. The aircon was also good which was very welcome as it was very hot outside. The balcony was a very small Juliet balcony but still allowed me to see outside. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the train station and close to luggage stores and places to eat. I would recommend for anyone travelling on a budget.
• SATOSHI (10/5): - 普段、ホストのヌンツィアさんは不在です。 チェックインの際、外のインターホンを押すと親切なホストの電話につながります。 イタリア語または英語で、しばらく外門の前で待つように言われます。私の時は10-15分で車で来てくれました。その後、外門、二階のドア、部屋のドアを貸し出され、自由に出入りできます。 ナポリ中央駅や地下鉄DUOMO駅に近く、スパッカナポリ地区やNUOVO城エリアにも徒歩20-30分くらいでアクセス可能です。 周辺には有名PIZZERIAや青空市場、食堂などもあり初めてのナポリ旅行におすすめです。

• Larry (2/5): - I had contacted the manager to arrive for late check-in, since my transportation from the Amalfi Coast was delayed several times. I indicated that I would arrive "after 830pm" and the manager replied "hello, ok ok". But when I got to the property (in a large building with no way to even enter the building), no one was there. This left me stranded for the night. The manager claimed she waited until 9pm, but all she told me was that it was "ok ok' to come after 830pm. This is terrible service from a person who says one thing and then does something completely different.

• Graham (8/5): - Overall the property is exactly what is needed for a short stay in Naples. Self proclaimed they mention that the location is noisy. Yes, it was BUT it is in the heart of the city and near the bus/train station (where most daily tours depart from). This made it a very convenient location for a solo traveller backpacking. It is a short walk to the main food areas which Naples is of course known for. The area does not seem safe at first but I had no issues. The check in was easy and they were very communicative. Naples is a hectic and busy/noisy city and it is not the properties fault. It was great for my short stay.

Jeg skar mig på foden på noget glas som noget af det første efter vi tjekkede ind, hvilket fik os til at tvivle på niveauet af rengøring. Men overordnet set, taget i betragtning sf hvor billigt det er er det helt fint.
• Lorraine (8/5): - Endroit très propre et bien tenue. Le B&B 248 est inscrit sur la porte à l'étage et non à l'exterieur bien verifier l"adresse. Un petit réfrigérateur aurait été bien le site est situé sur une rue très passante et bruyante. Mais en général l'endroit est bien.
• Fiona (6/5): - Nunzia ist eine sympathische Gastgeberin, die uns z.B. auch gleich am Anfang zwei Wasserflaschen geschenkt hat. Das Zimmer war sauber und verfügte über ein bequemes Bett. Die Dusche war sehr klein und nicht mehr in neuestem Zustand, funktionierte jedoch gut. Wir waren mit allem zufrieden, ausser mit dem Standort des B&Bs, den wir im Vornherein falsch eingeschätzt haben. Wir wollten zentral sein, was das B&B definitiv auch ist. Aber wir möchten alle Interessierten vorwarnen, dass die Zimmer (unseres z.B.) zum Teil gegen die Hauptstrasse gerichtet sind und wegen der schlechten Fenster und dem unablässigen Verkehr und Gehupe wahnsinnig laut (!) sind. Schlafen war für uns praktisch unmöglich, trotz Ohrenstöpsel und Noise Cancelling. Ein gemütliches Ausspannen nach den Tagesaktivitäten ist für Touristen hier unserer Meinung nach nicht möglich. Wer so etwas nicht sucht und eine Übernachtungsmöglichkeit in der Nähe des Bahnhofs sucht, ist gut bedient. Aber für alle anderen, die entspannte Ferien machen wollen, würden wir wegen der Lautstärke der Strasse davon abraten, hier zu übernachten. Wir mussten unseren Aufenthalt vorzeitig abbrechen. Nunzia, wir danken dir trotzdem herzlich und wünschen dir und deiner Familie alles Gute.
• Karim (2/5): Très bruyant. - La chambre est très propre, apparentement et bien situé et l'accueil était parfait. Gros bémol, la chambre donne sur un grand boulevard, très bruyant, nous n'avons malheureusement pas réussi à dormir. prévoir des boules quies.

The aircondition works well which is good because it is really hot outside! The bathroom is small but it is really clean!
• Greig (10/5): Perfection ! So looking forward to my next stay. - Ms Nunzia was helpful beyond words. Her attitude was always most pleasant and highly professional. It was so helpful to be able to communicate in English. She kindly allowed be to check in early when I needed to rest and secured multiple taxi's for me with lightning speed and reliability. The room was so clean you could eat off of the floor. The bed was most comfortable and the shower so refreshing. The breakfast option was perfect. A voucher card for fresh pastries and beverage from a local cafe. So easy to select what sounded good for the day, whenever the time was best for your schedule. I would not change a single detail of the experience. I so hope to be able to return.
• Sushmitha (10/5): - I stayed for 4 nights and it was very comfortable stay. The owner of the property is very supportive and approachable. The property is very close to Garibaldi, that is Naples Central railway station. This area is quite good and safe. It has convenient connections to all nearby places to visit and good number of eateries are available close to the property.
• Wilianie (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay! Is is a 10 min walk from the train/bus station, is is on the main street so you can walk anywhere. Lots of shops and restaurants too. The front desk was really nice to us and our room was clean and had a balcony with views to the city. Naples is very noisy and pretty crowded but it has a beautiful culture and food options.

Naples is a hectic, noisy place and you can hear the street from the room, but the owner even thought to provide earplugs, which we didn't need, but it's a nice touch. An easy recommendation for me.

• Peter (10/5): Fantastic location - This is a very balanced room with everything you need, The building is a very unusual old structure with character Location is great I was in Naples to visit Pompeii and relax for a few days Its on the edge of the old town so perfect for exploring the old Napoli, It's a short walk 5-10 mins straight to the central train and bus station and on the main road into the modern part of the City, It's close at to the station that the train to Pompeii starts at so Google that to get a seat on the train before it arrives at the central station, Excellent value and for visiting the different parts of Naples it's a superb location and the room is very well appointed.
• Jorge (8/5): Un B&B cómodo, limpio y bien situado - El B&B 248 es un negocio familiar, bien llevado y cuidado. Al menos la habitación en la que yo estuve un par de noches, con baño bien equipado incluido, era amplia, luminosa, aireada gracias a un balcón y limpia. Una habitación a la que a uno le apetece regresar por la noche. El único inconveniente es que al encontrarse en una zona céntrica y de tránsito de personas y coches (Corso Umberto), cercana a la Piazza Garibaldi, hay bastante ruido. Quizá en invierno es más silencioso. Desde luego si alguien tiene el sueño ligero necesitará de tapones para los oídos. Por lo demás el lugar es perfecto.
• NURIYE (2/5): Daha ne kadar kötü olabilirdi!!!! - Çok kötü bir deneyim oldu, kahvaltı saatinde kahvaltı yok, ayrıca kahvaltı kruvasan ve nutelladan ibaret . Sahipler de çok kaba ve anlayışsız, hiçbir gün kahvaltı zamanında hazır olmadı hep beklemek zorundaydık, tavsiye etmem..

They told us about places to visit that were not on our agenda that we just loved. We will definitely see them on our next visit to Italy. Their prompt communication before and after our trip helped tremendously.

• SaraBea (8/5): Definitely recommend. - Stayed for three nights in the very beginning of January. The room was very clean and the breakfast was great! Nadia and Giovani, the couple who runs the B&B were incredibly kind and accommodating. The morning we left, our train left the station before breakfast was served and they left us breakfast in our room the night prior so that we would have something to eat before we left. Naples was our least favorite city to visit but the B&B was one of our favorite places that we stayed and was within walking distance of the train station.
• Paulo (10/5): TRES BON SEJOUR - Nous avons passe un tres bon sejour chez Nunzia. Nunzia et son mari sont tres accueillants, disponibles et tres sympas. La chambre etait confortable, la salle de bain tres propre. Le petit dejeuner...un vrai regal!!! Nous reviendrons...C'EST SUR!!!
• Iryna (2/5): Noisy street and a very uncomfortable bed - The hotel is on one of the main streets close to the Garibaldi station, which I have to admit is convenient for day trips out of the city, although dangerous and uncomfortable. The neighborhood is unsafe, with plenty of suspicious people on the street on the way from the station; it is not a pleasant walk constantly looking over your shoulder making sure not to be followed or robbed. The windows did not provide any isolation from the noise of the busy street. Our best solution was to turn on an old AC, which was very loud itself and would drown out the noise of the street a bit. The mattress was hard with springs sticking out everywhere, resulting in a very uncomfortable sleep, if any at all. When I asked after the first night if there was something to put on top of the mattress, I was met with an unsympathetic "NO". On top of poor rest, there was no place to eat breakfast (you eat it in your own room, which has no chairs, so you have to eat sitting on the bed, which is not very comfortable). However, the breakfast is free and includes toast with coarsely cut ham and cheese, yogurt, juice from concentrate, cake and packaged croissants of poor quality, but very nice coffee made by the owner. Lastly, we were refused to let our luggage in the hotel on our last day in Naples and were forced to pay a lot to store it in the station to enjoy our last 4 hours in the city.
• Jessica Paige (8/5): Great B&B-definitely recommend! - I had a great stay here. The management was lovely and so helpful. The wifi worked great. Bathroom and room were very clean. The breakfast was simple, but delicious with a homemade latte! My only complaint is the mattress had springs poking through and was very uncomfortable. I would definitely stay here again if the mattresses are updated. :)

Tuttavia, ho pagato 10 euro in più per poter effettuare un'eventuale cancellazione e, soprattutto, per poter pagare in loco (eravamo quattro amiche di tre differenti regioni). Due giorni prima del nostro arrivo mi sono stati addebitati i soldi dalla carta (dunque, ho dovuto chiedere alle mie compagne di restituirmi i soldi e abbiamo pagato di più inutilmente)
